Kalima Resort & Villas Khao Lak

Wonderful hotel! Amazing staff nothing is too much trouble. Fabulous food with lots of variety. I have never ever seen such a wide choice of food at breakfast and all of it high quality. It's in a quieter area which suited our plan to have a relaxing holiday. Lovely large, clean comfortable room with clean pool towels every day. Lots of lovely little extra touches like beach bags, flip flops, good quality toiletries provided. We just wish it was closer as the only downside is the long flight!

Excellent massage/facial experience at the Kalima Hotel! The Hotel is very clean and beautiful with lots of lovely people - We would love to come back one day! We are a family of 4; 3months old, 2,5years old.

My husband and I have just returned from what I can only describe as an amazing holiday here. I was a little concerned as there were some very mixed reviews. Here is my take on our stay. Swim up room was fabulous. The room was very spacious. There was a lovely bath and shower as well as a well stocked fridge. Housekeeping was superb with multiple bottles of water left daily. The pool area was lovely, plenty of sunbeds with choice of shade or sun. Kids pool (not that we used!) Was fabulous. Lots of slides and water features. Pool bar was lovely. The private beach was lovely. My only feedback would be that the bar there could do with an update and perhaps some stools so you could sit and have a drink and not just take back to sunbed. We went all inclusive. There have been some reviews left with a negative vibe on this but I can't complain. Unlike most all inclusive holidays you have a menu. You can choose 3 courses for lunch and dinner. There are various options from snack to full meals. There are choices from Thai options to your classic English/European choices. We stayed 2 weeks and only had the same thing twice cause we chose too. No buffet all cooked to order. Breakfast was a buffet but the variety on display was incredible. There is lots to do on site to keep you entertained. Evening entertainment was good. Resident entertainers were very good and we thought they were great and an incredibly lovely couple. The fire show was fabulous. For those on B&B if you turn right out of the hotel and head to the beach at the end of the road there are bars and restaurants on the beach which are very reasonably priced and serve fantastic food. You can walk or grab a lift on one of the beach tuktuks again not only fun but not expensive. All in all I struggle to find anything negative to say. From reception, to the lift with cases to our room, to the Housekeeping and entertainment teams you we fabulous. But my last comment has to be the the OUTSTANDING team of staff who work tirelessly on long shifts looking after the many people at breakfast, lunch and dinner. They are attentive, polite and never fail to smile and create the relaxing atmosphere. You guys are amazing. Thank-you for one of the best holidays. X

Beautiful resort. Very relaxing but also with the opportunity to do lots of different activities. Stayed in block 4, in a grand deluxe. The room was spacious and really clean. Tub on the balcony watching over the lake was beautiful. Breakfast, lots of choice and really good food Tip. Does.get extremely busy at times so.better to go early. Has it own private beach and sea is shallow enough to walk out far. Staff were all very friendly and always helpful. A huge thank you to NOK on reception, NOK helped my partner find a hotel near to a hospital where unfortunately I'm was admitted following an accident (not on the resort ). The TUI rep Cee was useless with no help from him at all, we were stressed and scared, disappointingly he didn't support us whatsoever. Overall, we will definitely be booking the Kalima again and can recommend to everyone
