Kalima Resort & Villas Khao Lak

Amazing resort! Beautiful views, great things to do around the resort and lovely and friendly staff!

Amazing hotel with great cuisine and lots of activities. Here you can find both the child's room, lots of swimming pools (even the one with the bar :)). The key feature we liked was the wilderness around us, as it was fun to see squirrels from your own window or to observe elephants next to the ruver. Enjoyed kayaking with the help of tutors - Tete and Moo! Managed to easily start swimming on the kayak with them. Do not miss a chance and try this place out as well!

My wife and I stayed at the Kalima hotel spa and resort for our honeymoon we were immediately welcomed and made right at home in our luxury swimup apartment, the resort is very clean and stylish, the staff are all very friendly and helpful the restaurant staff Pada and Saii were very welcoming every night we dined there, the resort in general is very beautiful to walk around the rooms are very stylish with great air conditioning the price is very good value for money and the Kalima resort app will update you on offers, excursions and activities at a good price. There’s a travel agents on sight that will organise any excursions to islands and adventure activities, there is a free shuttle that will take you to the neighbouring towns but the taxis in the area are all very friendly and cheap.

Kate was great with our kids, they had so much fun with her at the kids' club!

Where to begin. We recently stayed at villa 9104 and it was truly a dream. such a lovely place! The rooms were wonderfully spacious and the bedroom was absolutely brilliant. The private pool area felt like something from another world, I loved it. The outdoor bath was perfect for a gentle soak after a hot day exploring Khao Lak. The rooms were kept tidy and we were kindly given fresh water every day, which we really appreciated. The fridge-freezer was super handy, especially with the ice tray for keeping our drinks nice and chilled. The service was brilliant. From the delicious food and drinks to the lovely staff taking our orders, everything felt warm, welcoming and spot on. They looked after us perfectly throughout our stay with wonderful hospitality. One person in particular, Pada, who looked after us most of the time, was an absolute joy. She was kind, friendly and very understanding, helping my girlfriend with spice levels and explaining the dishes. From remembering our room number and our favourite drinks to knowing exactly how spicy we liked our food, we felt really well looked after by Pada. I really hope to see her again when we return. The beach was only about a 3 minute walk away from the villa, which once we arrived there was something out of a movie. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and quiet as it was a private beach, we was always able to get some deck chairs and relax listening to the waves crashing and even have a swim without fear of our things being taken. The water was amazing and swimming in the sea once the winds had relaxed was a joy. Even in the rain as we was in the monsoon season, the beach was amazing to be at and would recommend going even in the rain. The local wildlife was something I was not expecting, but fell in love with, from all different types of lizards and crabs, to the frogs and insects chirping at night felt warm and comforting listening to.
