La Flora Khao Lak

La Flora is overall a very nice hotel with nice facilities. Nice clean pools, decent breakfast and restaurant and a great beach. Staff are friendly. Quite a few who circle the pool do not understand a word of english which makes it a bit hard to ask or order anything. But not really a big problem. :) Fitness is ok. Old equipment but you can get a decent workout anyway. The tv could only connect with android devices, which was a bit problematic when you wanted to put on a film for the kids when the rain was pouring down. But the staff set up a thing on the tv which enables us to connect our iphones, but at a poor quality. You would think that a big hotel like La Flora had both options available without any hassle. All in all it was a nice stay at La Flora.

We initially stayed next door at Ramanda as part of a luxury escape deal but due to flight cancellations they tried to charge us a large sum. We went to La Flora and for less price we got 2 rooms (instead of sharing 1 room). The restaurant food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is yummy and well priced with the deck right by the ocean. The live music duo was lovely. The 3 different pools are incredible – so much space for everyone to spread out. Location is perfect and convenient with shops, massages and food market a short walk away.

Elegant, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for a relaxing getaway. The facilities are excellent, and I particularly appreciated the dehumidifier in the room, which made the space feel fresh and comfortable throughout the night. I had such a restful sleep and woke up feeling completely refreshed. A beautiful place to unwind and recharge.

Smoke from other guests next door who were smoking on their outside deck caused us to go inside. A designated smoking area would be good.

The hotel has a very good location, restaurants, night market and supermarket are all within walking distance. The pool area is very well maintained and large, there are enough loungers available and the staff is also very accommodating. The rooms are very modern, large and spacious. The hotel has a very nice atmosphere, almost like in the jungle. In addition, it is a very quiet hotel. We were very satisfied with our stay and were able to enjoy the holiday.
