La Vela Khao Lak

My two nights at La Vela were truly amazing. The staff were so welcoming, especially the front office team, restaurant staff and the restaurant manager, Ms. Sarah. The great service and lovely room were unforgettable.

Excellent location, beautiful beach, and friendly staff.

Stayed here for 6 days with our two grown up children. They upgraded us to two family rooms so we could e adjacent with a twin and a double. The rooms are enormous and very cleverly designed with various sliding panels so you can configure them as you wish. One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in and we have stayed in many. The breakfast is outstanding, again one of the best we have experiences with dozens of choices, from eggs, to sushi, to Thai to pretty much everything and accompanied with barista coffee - just perfect. Big pools, right on the beach and three places to eat. Couple of less good things: Lots of the pool loungers are in 10cm of water so problems if anything falls off your table. They don't let you move the beach loungers into the sun for some unknown reason. Check the kids club charges - it looked to me like most activities were separately charged, which could add up. But those are niggles - it is a lovely hotel and we would definitely go there again, helpful staff, spotless and reasonably priced for extras.

Amazing stay and a truly wonderful experience! A special thank you to Khun Ae from the Front Office Department for the warm welcome and excellent service. A very special appreciation to Khun Tik from the F&B Department, who was absolutely outstanding. Khun Tik was incredibly friendly, attentive, professional, and always made sure we were well taken care of. His warm welcome, excellent service, and attention to detail really made our dining experience extra special. Thank you, Khun Tik, for making us feel so welcome! A big thank you to the Housekeeping Team as well. Our room was always spotless, clean, and beautifully maintained. We truly appreciated their hard work and attention to details. We also loved the amazing team at Kokulo Beach Club—everyone was friendly and provided excellent service. The seafood buffet was delicious with a great variety, and the fire show and bartender show were fantastic and so entertaining. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We truly had a wonderful time and would definitely come back again! ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at La Vela Khao Lak for 8 nights and absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. The location is excellent - right on the beach and easy walk to Bang Nang Market. All of the staff where welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were well looked after during our stay. The tour desk was fantastic and met all our needs. The food was excellent with a great variety and the buffet breakfast was one of the best we have seen. The amenities provided excellent options of choice anf rge hotel provides a range of packages to suit different needs, providing excellent value for money. The spa and gym were both great and exactly what you needed on holiday. We stayed in a pool access room which we loved the convenience of stepping out our door and into the pool. Relaxing in your private entrance a bonus. Overall, La Vela exceeded our expectations and we would absolutely recommend La Vela for a great holiday in Khao Lak.
