Moracea by Khao Lak Resort

Our staying was amazing!! The hotel is really beautiful and have a very nice and helpful staff. The location is close to the central city (10 minutes by walking). The beach is really clean. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are really big, quiet and the view from there is speechless. Our experience here are really valued the money.

We travelled here from Krabi it was for our honeymoon we stayed 5 nights. We was greeted very welcoming and I was given a flower we was took to our room which was totally beautiful and they had decorated it for us with flowers and swan towels. Every single member of staff was so amazing and beautiful people who went above and beyond to look after us. We had a romantic meal for the two of us on the beach but due to the rain we had it up on the zilch balcony and the staff made it truly magical. I would 💯 recommend this resort to everyone great for couples and families. Sad to leave but as soon as we get back home we are booking again.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. The first two visits were under the hotel's previous name; the last time I stayed here was over 20 years ago. My friends and I were thoroughly impressed with this visit. It started with booking via Line, where all our specific requirements and room preferences were fully accommodated. It started with the check-in process, where the staff were ready to welcome us. My friends and I really liked the presentation of the welcome drink, which was adorned with Thai flowers—a touch that showed creativity while preserving a distinctively Thai identity. Afterward, the driver took us to our room. He was able to share detailed information and the history of the hotel, which reminded me that I had actually stayed there twice over twenty years ago. Upon arriving at the room, I was greeted by the fresh, pleasant scent of Thai flowers placed inside—though this might not appeal to travelers who dislike the fragrance of Thai flowers. The room itself was quite clean, and additional drinking water was available upon request. The balcony is furnished with chairs where we could sit and relax; since we had a corner room, we enjoyed quite a spacious balcony area. Inside the room, there was a sofa where we could sit and chat comfortably. As for breakfast—I have to say, it was excellent. We have stayed at many 5-star hotels, but this place stood out thanks to the staff's genuine, radiant smiles—a true reflection of Thai hospitality—rather than just a forced, mask-like smile put on for guests. I will come back again; this hotel is on our list of places to revisit.

We had a great time at this lovely resort. The upgrade to a Seaview room was very much appreciated and the included breakfasts were very generous.

Stunning resort! Friendly & hard working staff. Efficient and welcoming check in with a refreshing drink. We had a deluxe Orchid bungalow which was classed as a partial see view - we were in 217 & had a direct view of the sea/beach & the pool a few steps from our door. The resort is jungle meets beach with plenty of of wildlife, birds, huge butterflies, monitor lizards & squirrels. Beach is fabulous -waves quite big when we’re there so not many swimming. Easy walk to shops & restauarants though tuk tuk only 100 baht. 200 baht to the night market with more bars & restaurant, lunch ve band in Mr Chays bar. We went in the rainy season, weather was mixed as expected. Food in the hotel was lovely with a fabulous breakfast - egg/bacon station, noodle station, waffles, continental, cereals & fresh tropical fruit. Late check out is 300 baht per hour which is reasonable & worth it. Day trip to Phang Gna & James Bond island was a great day out / private tour by long tail boat, was 1.5 hours to the pier, also visited Koh Panyee & monkey cave with reclining Buddha - cost £125. Memories beach worth a visit 4 or 500 baht in taxi - can hire surf boards, have surf lessons etc - Elephant sanctuary is next door. Massage parlour “Me Me” down the road on LHS is great! Stayed 2 weeks & loved it!
