Sentido Khao Lak Resort

Staying at the hotel was fantastic. All the service was exceptionally good. The treatment from you made us feel very welcome. If we had any requests, you fulfilled them as much as possible. The food was good and what a fantastic service I received for every breakfast with gluten-free. The room was always clean and nice. The staff at the reception were professional. You were all patient, you talked to us, joked and were always happy. You paid attention to us guests with warmth and heart. You made sure we had a good time and felt good. A big thank you for the care you showed us and all the entertainment. I didn't have time to collect all the names, but here are the names of several of the staff who were absolutely wonderful. New, Gab, Zee, Kim, Bumbim, Pin, Tao-Hu, Pu, Jake, Marco, Nidny, Kung, Nai, Ket, Kwan, Kaem, Aom, Fa, Dennis, John, Ton Kao, Whan, Som, Sunny, Wave. Disappointed. Sentido Khao Lak After a 12 hours flight, and 1.5 hrs to get through immigration we arrived at our hotel at 11:30 am. Only to be told that we cannot check into our room until after 3 o’clock.. this was a 3 1/2 hour wait. We were told we could change in the toilets and then wait and lie by the pool until our room was ready. Our room was lovely and in all honesty the best part about this hotel was that our bed was so comfy. Breakfast was in one small restaurant area where everybody eats and is chaos during the mornings from 8 o’clock onwards. Having travelled around the world, this is probably the worst hotel for food choice for the English. Sunbeds are not allowed on the beach, they are tucked away under the trees so if you want to lie in the sun you have no chance. You have to lie on your towel on the beach. There was plenty of sunlands by the pools, however we found the pool water really cold. This hotel caters I would say and the majority of the people staying here are German, we are English and Felt like minority and totally overruled by the rude, obnoxious loud Germans everywhere. The beach bar restaurant does not offer anything like pizza or snacks when you’re feeling a little bit , It only offers main meals, due to this we ate out every afternoon or late evening as the hotel did not cater for us.. however room service offered a better menu choice, but why would you want to be stuck in your bedroom eating ? In all, would we come back? It’s a big NO. By day four, We only came to the hotel to sleep we spent as much time away from the hotel as possible Only positive was staff really friendly.

Sentido is an excellent choice of hotel, it has a good location with a cozy beach and nice rooms. The breakfast has a wide variety from hot dishes to all kinds of fruits. The hotel has a very friendly staff and is really service oriented, I would especially like to point out Tu who is a security guard, but also the young guy who hands out beach towels.

Great hotel with a lovely beachfront setting. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. Room was a decent size and cleaned daily by the cheerful ladies. Most staff were good and a special thank you to Tu on the security gate who always took the time to wish us a happy day.

Our hotel experience wasn’t perfect, but every time we made the staff on reception aware of a problem, it was addressed without issue. Particularly worthy of mention is May, nothing was too much trouble, she was unfailingly helpful and pleasant, always a greeting and interested in whatever we were doing.
