BlueSotel Krabi

Located in front of Holiday Inn Resort Krabi and just about 5-10mins walking distance to Aonang Beach & Aonang Al-Munuawarah Mosque (so you’ll know there is abundance of halal food options around here). Also a lot of massage places, 7-11 in the area. There is also Mother Marche Supermarket nearby where you can get anything from food to personal care stuffs. The hotel do provide beach towel (deposit of THB100) at the front desk. I came during raining season so they do provide umbrella at the lobby entrance (just write your name, room number and don’t forget to sign once you’ve returned it). The breakfast choices was ok. The staffs are friendly and helpful. They do have parking space but I’m not sure if it’s limited or not. Be aware that the lobby are going through some renovations from May-Sep 2026 (they do gave a heads up during booking). Didn’t affect the check in process. Overall I do recommend this hotel if you wanted a nice place to come back and rilex after exploring Krabi.

When we arrived at the hotel, we did not expect that the lobby was under renovation. It was quite inconvenient for guests checking in and out, but it was understandable since it was low season and there were not many guests at that time. However, I was surprised that the check-in time was 3:00 PM and the check-out time was 11:00 AM. I understand that this is the hotel’s policy, but it was my first time encountering an 11:00 AM check-out time, as most 4-star hotels usually allow check-out at 12 noon. We arrived around 12:30 PM, and I asked the GSA if we could check in early. He mentioned that there would be an additional charge for early check-in, which I understand. However, I believe the hotel could be more considerate if there were already vacant rooms available in the same booking category, especially since it was already noon and the hotel was not busy during the low season. Because of this, we had to wait outside the hotel and return at 3:00 PM. When we entered our room, it was spacious and had a nice view. However, the floor was still wet and not completely dry, so we decided to turn on the air conditioner to help dry it faster. At the balcony, the water was not draining properly and became stagnant whenever it rained, so we had to call Housekeeping to clean it after the rain. The room amenities were lacking. There was no conditioner, shampoo, or toothbrush provided. We were also celebrating my sister’s birthday during our stay. I thought the hotel might provide a simple complimentary cake, but unfortunately, there was none. They only prepared a simple bed decoration. Still, thank you to the Reservation Department and Front Office for the effort. Additionally, the hotel has a strict policy regarding towels. Pool towels can only be used at the pool area and cannot be brought to the room. For beach towels, a deposit is required and will only be returned once the towel is handed back. The breakfast was perfect. However, for guests who love pork, there were no pork options served. Special thanks to Ms. Nam, the chef who made the perfect eggs during breakfast. She was very approachable and friendly to the guests. Overall, the room rate we booked online for four persons, including breakfast, was a good value for the price. Hopefully, the hotel can improve the room amenities and train the GSA staff to be more approachable and welcoming, with better customer service and warm smiles for guests.

Lovely hotel, clean spacious rooms. Love the pool bar. Shout out to Phum the pool bar man made the holiday for us. Such a lovely guy, nothing is too much trouble! He makes the best cocktails. Very hard working! A credit to the hotel. We will be back!!!

Three couples, away for two nights. It was my idea to stay at BlueSotel due to its location..so let's start. Positive first. The hotel is very well located among other hotels in central Ao Nang. Limited car parking is available. There is a nice swimming pool with a swim up bar. The rooms are average for this style and price, perhaps not quite four star but ok. Check in was efficient. No ironing board in rooms for those traveling who might not want to wear crumpled clothes. After the first night my girlfriend noticed her watch missing from where she had left it in the room. She advised reception who promised to review security camera footage. One of our accompanying couples also noticed money missing from their room. Putting this behind us the next morning we went to checkout. Asked to wait while they checked the room they advised us that a hairdryer was missing from the room and we were required to pay 1500bht. They also asked to check my girlfriend's bags. We are honest people and financially comfortable, we have no need to take a hairdryer so we let them search the luggage. By this stage tempers are rising and I asked about my girlfriend's watch. They promised us they would get back to us. Of course they haven't. Wanting to leave we agreed to pay 250 bht. At check out they tried to charge another of our accompanying couples for items they said had been consumed from the room fridge. After a recount with the guest in attendance the hotel admitted a mistake had been made. Not a happy experience. We will not be back and caution intending guests.

Great location close to shops and restaurants. Nice pool area with good selection of loungers. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection. Couldn't hear noise from outside the hotel. Had a lovely stay.
