Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort

Beyond the fact that the resort itself is breathtaking, I have to share our experience with the "Market to Grilled" program. It is only on Saturday as the local market is only on Saturday! Our day began with a trip to a local market just 10 minutes away, led by our guide, Anoop. This was a fascinating glimpse into daily life that we never would have discovered on our own. Anoop was phenomenal—not only was he exceptionally friendly, but he was also a wealth of knowledge, patiently identifying every unique ingredient for us. After selecting some fresh seafood, we headed back to the property. From there, we were introduced to Chef Kookai and Mary. The kitchen session was a total blast; we spent the afternoon cooking, laughing, and eventually devouring our creations. They were both gracious and attentive teachers, helping us craft a spectacular spread: • Fresh Spring Rolls • Tom Yum Goong • Thai Grilled Fish with seasonal vegetables • Mango Sticky Rice (the perfect sweet finish!) To top it all off, we captured some great photos and even received certificates to commemorate the day. A huge thank you to Anoop, Chef Kookai, and Mary for a memorable afternoon that will remain a standout highlight of our trip. My husband and I cannot recommend this highly enough to anyone staying at the Dusit Thani Krabi!

A good medium size hotel- with all the facilities you would expect, including two nice pools, sunbeds and shade, and a lovely beach. Towels were provided. We didn't eat at the hotel in the evening - instead we ate in the local restaurants (half the price) - but breakfast was plentiful with something for every taste. Rooms were very comfortable, with a fridge and plenty of sockets Only issue for us was the lack of lights. There were only a few ceiling lights in both the bedroom and the bathroom - and, we couldn't get the bedside lamps to work. Grounds were very well cared for, and plenty of wildlife to see, including Lizards, fish, and the odd tree-snake and spider! Good value family hotel - nothing amazing, but good value for money.

We had the pleasure of being served by K. BIW during breakfast, and he truly made our morning exceptional. From the moment we arrived, his warm welcome and genuine friendliness stood out. K. BIW was incredibly attentive without being intrusive, always anticipating our needs with a smile. His professionalism, positive energy, and attention to detail created a relaxed and enjoyable start to our day. It’s rare to come across service that feels both natural and genuinely caring — K. BIW delivers exactly that. He is a real asset to the team, and we look forward to seeing him again on our next visit. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Exactly what we are looking for - away from the hustle and bustle with a private beach. Staff were always courteous and willing to help. Rooms can be updated - hearing doors slam from other rooms was a nuisance at times and perhaps this issue can be fixed in the future. Gym was wonderful - huge and had all the modern equipments. Nicely air conditioned. Club Lounge was very much appreciated. Food selection was great and service was top notch. We did have an issue with the shower - temperature too cold to hot, and then the pressure being good to not enough. It was a nice touch to have a beach tote for guests to use and water bottles for purchase. I bought one and refilled it with water or iced tea.
