Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort

Awesome hotel in great location in Krabi. 1 hour of paddle boarding / kayaking each day included. Had a (paid for) sailing lesson too - very good value. James is a great teacher. Had the lesson with my 12 year old daughter. We both got the chance to sail the boat. Loads of fun. Everything about the hotel is premium and if you fancy something different there are a few shops at the top of the driveway including a ubiquitous 7-11, a great value authentic Thai restaurant and next day laundry (used all of these during our stay). Quality breakfast with all the usuals you would expect such as an omelette / egg station, with your order brought to your table. The hotel area has a very nature vibe with a lake and stream leading out to the sea. You will definitely see monitor lizards and possibly monkeys (although the hotel discourages these visitors). Highly recommend this hotel. We booked direct on the day we wanted to check-in (we were already at another hotel in Krabi) and booked 4 nights. Easy to join their loyalty programme which gets you a discount on your booking and % off meals in hotel.

We stayed at Dusit Thani Krabi end of August/beginning of September and had great weather nearly every day. The hotel is awesome and James from the water sports team was the best. We rented a Hobie Cat several times and he was so helpful and friendly and anticipated all of our wishes in advance. Best wind surfing teacher ever!

Our 10 night stay at Dusit Thani managed to exceed all our expectations!!! Everything was beautiful and simply perfect. The environment and all the facilities were outstanding! My children loved the kids club, the Junior Chef pizza making experience and all the available activities. Breakfast was an event in itself and the food was superb, especially at Mangosteens. The whole staff deserves much praise. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I unfortunately am missing a few names, but K. Biw, K Hah, K. Far, Sai, Tar, Yaya, J, Fafa, Poly, Lee to name only a few were great. Special shoutout to Pichamon for organizing and Yongyuth for looking after our Celebration Dinner at the beach for my wife's 50th birthday. It was a dream!!! And I can't forget Stevie signing some of my favourite John Holt songs - that was the icing on the cake for me! Can only look forward to our next visit... Khop khun ka! Felipe

Excellent service overall. My favorite part is that they provide complimentary two sport activities but others are on discount and we had the best time with Khun James, the wind sailing instructor. He was attentive and thorough. The beach is clean - much cleaner than Pattaya - quiet and safe. But watch out for the rocky parts though. The only thing I’d not spend money on here is the breakfast buffet - a bit mediocre for the price. Strangely, room service was excellent!

What a fabulous hotel! From the moment you arrive to the time you leave you will have the best experience. Grace checked us in and personally took us to our room. It was perfect. Spacious and drinking water on tap what a bonus. The facilities here are second to none. It is perfectly placed to explore Krabi and just as perfect for a gentle relaxing day be it by the pool, on the beach or the deck. We ate in all of the restaurants but particularly enjoyed the hot pot meal at Mangosteen. I have recently been diagnosed as celiac and the ladies went above and beyond to ensure it was safe to eat. I unfortunately didn't get their names. All the restaurants had gluten free options available. We also ate at The Terrace which is directly opposite the hotel great food and fantastic service. The setting for the hotel is beautiful too. You won't be disappointed if you book to stay here.
