Me and my partner stopped here for a week in August, it was a lovely relaxing place, the staff were really friendly and helpful and could not do enough for you, the whole place was spotlessly clean, and the food was lovely, The hotel was very spacious, the tables and chairs were dotted here and there, you were not all crammed into one tight space, it had a very relaxing feel to it, you also never queued for drinks at the bar, the waiter just told you to be seated and he would bring the drinks over, if he saw your glass was empty he would refill it for you, I would tip the staff little and often, they work incredibly hard and every little they get is appreciated.. As others have said there isn't a lot within walking distance, but a taxi is only £2.50 (10 dinar) to Hammamet, and £5 (20dinar) to Yasmine port further down the coast, there isnt a lot do in Hammamet, but a walk round the castle and stroll round the shops is nice, but be prepared to be hassled and haggle if you buy, and always look at the conversion rate as sometimes it gets a little confusing, specially when the sellers often bombard you and dont give you time to think. Overall we had a great week, but not sure i would stop for longer than one week, unless of course you just like to lay in the sun all day. Oh, and others have said, be prepared for those pretending to work in your hotel and drag you into a friends shop..

This is not a 4 star , maybe was when it was built but definitely not now and thd name is misleading as there is no golf course near and the spa is a separate run down building next door . Hotel is run down especially the steps outside and the tiles around the pool We were in a first floor room above the main restaurant so had to listen to the constant scraping of chairs , wish we had paid to upgrade to a better room . The cocktails were all premixed sugary syrups and the local spirits were like paint stripper ! The main buffet restaurant was repetitive and long queues for the cooking stations and the constant hassle from the waiters to sit in their area or visit the al a carte restaurants but both the Tunisian and International restaurants were very good so they saved the holiday . I was surprised at there being no snacks at all available between meals ! My main gripe is the constant pressure to tip , almost as if staff are expecting it , I gave up leaving tips for my room cleaner as they did a poor job , hair balls on the floor that were not my hair and coffee not replenished . Also through no fault of the hotel the overnight power and water cuts made it very uncomfortable with no air conditioning. Area around the hotel very desolate and you can’t access any other hotels I would not return to this hotel and if I did return to Tunisia I t would need to be to a 5 star hotel

Very rude staff not to generalize but moslty rude . I wouldn’t recommend going if youre in your early teens and not foreign and especially if youre looking to have some fun with friends this is so not the place to do so
