Aziza Beach

February/March 2026, my husband and I spent a wonderful, memorable time at the Hotel Aziza Thalasso Golf Hotel in Hammamet, Tunisia. The location was convenient and the atmosphere was so friendly, welcoming, and calming. Our room was very comfortable and its balcony overlooked the beautiful blue Mediterranean, the hotel pool, and the most beautiful bougainvillea in full bloom. It was immaculately clean and very quiet. The dining room buffet and hot table provided a wonderful and varied selection of Tunisian, Mediterranean, and some North American dishes at all 3 meals. Particularly delicious was the fresh grilled fish at lunch and dinner. The hotel also had a full-service dining room with limited/reserved seating and a set menu that changed daily. There was an outdoor pool and an indoor one with a very friendly, competent, and fun staffer to lead aquasize, games, and other activities. Every evening had a musical event - not loud, just fun and entertaining. But the most impressive, fantastic part of our stay was the incredible, attentive, and outstanding service provided by all the staff - but most particularly Ameur, Mohammed, and James - you guys rock. Hubby and I had a wonderful two weeks with you all. Yes, we would return. Apologies for this tardy review - we had to hit the ground running upon our return. Blessings to you all and much success. The hotel is not a 4* I’d say barely a 3. You are made to pay a deposit for towels which are thread bare. The hotel is dated and in desperate need of modernisation. One day I went to use the toilet by the indoor pool and vomit was all over the floor which reeked of alcohol. The pool smelt like a blocked plug hole, I did however see staff check the pool levels each day so who knows what caused the smell. I developed an ear infection in both ears whilst there which was so severe that on my return to England I was admitted to hospital for 5 nights. On a positive note there were plenty of beds by the pool and beach and the food was nice.

Another great stay at Aziza, I came home totally relaxed and recharged. This was our second visit this year and our 8th overall, with great service as always. The hotel was much busier than we’re used to, so we had to be a little patient at the buffet when waiting for clean plates and utensils, but the waiters were working non-stop to keep up. The service at the bar was great as usual, too. Looking forward to our next visit.

The hotel is definitely feeling its age (30+ years) and is in need of some TLC. The queue for the dinner buffet shortly before the opening time of 7:00pm was very long and when the doors opened, it was like a stampede. There was a lot of sunbed blocking as early as 5:30am, with most of the beds around the pool reserved with towels, even though there were several signs prohibiting the practice. No good restaurants in the neighbourhood, but reception did steer us to a nice one back in Hammamet that offered a free transfer there and back. Overall, not a bad stay but doubt we’ll be going back.

Not a 4 star hotel , more like a 2 star !!! Just back home today , food was awful !! Repeated from lunch to dinner , adult only ?? They produced chicken nuggets , poolside toilet filthy , no soap or paper towels for 2 days , very slippy people were injured no warning sign until someone split there head open .Very dated hotel , poolside furniture broken , plastic dirty glasses given , very old threadbare poolside towels they even have the cheek to ask for a deposit for these !!! . Flies everywhere including the food area. Maybe because table clothes are filthy , my husband witnessed a waiter wiping cutlery with his hand then put it down on a table for someone to use , People with upset stomach’s into double figures. Minibar ?? NO you get a dirty old fridge with a bottle of water , worst place we have ever stayed !! This is a genuine review .. tour operators need to review this place and review its rating .
