Our overall experience at Bella Vista Hotel was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about safety, cleanliness, and the treatment of guests. To begin with, the hotel had no functioning air conditioning anywhere except in the hotel room confiding us to one space. The air conditioning in some.of our room's did not work at all, and my sister’s room where she was staying with her three young children also had no working air conditioning, leaving them in uncomfortable and unsuitable conditions throughout the stay. This was unacceptable, especially given the high temperatures. Horrible drainage smell from the bathroom too. The cleanliness of the hotel was far below expected standards, and several areas appeared neglected and unhygienic. In addition, we encountered rude and dismissive behaviour from staff, which made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. What was most upsetting was the sense of cultural and religious bias in the way we where treaded. As a British‑born Muslim visiting a Muslim country, I expected to feel respected and safe. Instead, the treatment we received was deeply distressing and unlike anything I have ever experienced in any hotel before. The behaviour suggested a clear lack of respect and understanding, which left us feeling singled out and discriminated against. Furthermore, the children’s pool was unsafe, resulting in injuries to two of our children. A hotel has a duty of care to ensure that all facilities, especially those used by children, are properly maintained and safe. This failure was extremely concerning and unacceptable. This was not just one isolated case as other family's also complained about the health and safety of the children's pool area as they found broken glass. Overall, our stay at Bella Vista Hotel was upsetting, uncomfortable, and far below any reasonable standard. The combination of unsafe facilities, poor cleanliness, lack of working air conditioning No WiFi, and discriminatory treatment made this experience one we would never wish upon any other family.

We booked this resort as a large family group across three separate bookings (Love Holidays and On the Beach) for a week’s stay in July 2026. Unfortunately our experience has been marred by repeated discriminatory treatment from hotel staff, who have consistently and incorrectly referred to us as “Indians” — including in front of our children — while addressing other guests as “Madam” and “Sir.” We raised this with hotel management directly. Rather than a genuine response, we received a non-denial, a generic apology, and a dismissive joke about giving us alcohol as a goodwill gesture. We put our complaint in writing as requested, but have since struggled to get any further engagement from management, and understand at least two other families have complained about the same issue. We only discovered there was a Guest Relations officer two days into raising this, despite it being relevant from day one. The resort itself is well located but the kids facilities need to be looked at as my son hurt himself twice while in the kids pool. Glass pieces were found in the pool by another family also visiting the resort at the same time. Who also complained. We cannot recommend other facilities the hotel offers until our complaints of racial discrimination and the injuries my child incurred during our stay have been handled appropriately. We have escalated all our issues formally to the hotel group and to our tour operators and will update this review based on their response.

From the moment we arrived at the resort we have had nothing but problems at this place. We arrived on the 12/07/26 just after midnight. Temperatures were above 35°. We was under the impression there is WiFi and aircon throughout as this is what the website stated (on the beach). We was missold. There was NO aircon anywhere but the rooms. No WiFi but in the lobby... after check we was shown to our rooms. They took us to the old part of the resort which was very run down. No aircon in rooms and was infested with bugs... we managed to stay one night. The following day we asked to be moved. We waited half day and they moved us to the newer section but still not the greatest. The rooms and hallways where still filthy. Full of dusts and bugs. And there was only 1 small lift that took us to all floors. These rooms had the bare minimum. TV was from 1980's. No kettle and no WiFi...we continued our stay at these rooms. However still very disappointing... so on the 2nd day of our stay we started to notice alot of staff treating other guests with shall I say a lighter complexion more attention and on a self service buffet. These guests where getting table service but when we ask there was alot of ummmming and tutting. Never have i experienced racism in this way.. so blanatantly singled out...Not only this the biggest concern we had was health and safety... when we went to the pool. Whilst kids playing in the kiddy pool one of nephews ran out and had cut his toes in the pool. We at 1st thought nothing of it as could have hurt himself any other way until the same happened again at the same pool where this time not only my nephew but my daughter had also cut her fingers and toes... upon investigation we discovered sharp grout edging across the tiles in the pool. This was cutting my kids open... we reported this along some other parents that also noticed glass pieces inside the vents of the pool.. we have complained since arrival and nothing has been done.. until we physically waited at pool side for them to corden it off.. within a couple hrs this was re opened without being cleaned... this is NOT a 4* WOULDNT RATE THIS A 1* EVEN..
