Hotel Rosa Beach Thalasso & Spa

⭐ 1/5 — Extremely disappointing experience Honestly, this hotel has been a huge disappointment. The atmosphere is terrible, there is almost no entertainment or animation, and the whole place feels completely dead. We came here with the expectation of relaxing and enjoying our holiday, but instead we are bored and frustrated. The food is another major problem. The meals feel repetitive, with basically the same choices every day. After a few days, it becomes extremely difficult to enjoy eating here. What disappointed us the most was the animation team. We barely saw any proper activities being organized or presented to us. My wife and I felt completely ignored by the animators, while they seemed much more interested in spending their time around young female guests. From what we personally witnessed, their attention appeared to be focused more on flirting and pursuing girls than on actually doing their job and entertaining hotel guests. We paid for a holiday, not to sit around with nothing to do while the animation team ignores us. The staff should be making ALL guests feel welcome and included, regardless of age or gender. Overall, the atmosphere, food variety, entertainment and animation were far below what we expected. We definitely would not recommend this hotel based on our experience, and we would not choose to come back

Where to begin.. Check in on arrival he was rude. Pay tax excuse me it's 11pm where are we supposed to get changed... Now me. Fine a polite we can change would have sufficed. Next morning advised them no plugs for sink in room, no where to hang washing. Washing sorted still waiting plug Food thank heavens have mohamed and feddi perfect go out of there way to help and the man in resturant in morning sorry don't know his name you 3 are just superb. Food shockingly bad nothing for English to enjoy. No fries no burgers but alot of German and tunisian food just sometimes a little naughty food is welcome Salads cracking beaut though but not everyday. Beach very. Small since built that rediculous mamma Mia why???? Pool perfectly clean he does start at sparrows first wing flutter spends hours cleaning it. Sunbeds clean and pool cleaners polite and lovely Animation lovely lads and sit have a chat. Bat staff at. Pool great and pleasent Bad side that nasty kamal who arrived today thinking he's bees knees. Think acceptable to move your belongings because his wife needs the shade. Sire get her up earlier to get round the pool he even goes gets management to tell you to move back in 30 degree sun because he moved your things for his other half with out asking while you went toilet and to get bite to eat wasn't ever 20 minutes.. Also he went and got his wife's wrist bands changed from yellow to black and couple others to silver... Not what you know is it here. Mama Mia that's another story had no sleep for 2 nights as it goes in to a disco and cause a lot Algerian and Tunisiam arrive it's loud very loud 04.20 before stopped on Sunday morning. Is bad. Even animation tired form the noise says alot Tonight at dinner again kamal was there with his chief badge on and threw us the most dirtiest look and glared...... Room cleaner well call it. A clean if ya want clean towels daily sheets only when we strip beds not once washed the floor not sink Worst I've ever had in all Inclusive. Fazia in main reception now that girl is superb knowledgeable and always a good morning is she see you before you see her. Don't ask for milk if bring taken kettle it's an argument to get it Nor bottle of coke. Go in a louage to monastir get milk coke and fresh chicken from monoprix delicious Hotel is very clean can't fault those cleaners cracking job and ones I mentioned Soa they great how everthebloke selling is pushy omg non stop buy hut Shop rip off avoid avoid avoid tries charging 15 dinar for a bag crisps which cost 3 dinar in monoprix... Avoid at all cost Toilets near the arena ladies there has been poo on then tiles in far end toilet since day arrived and it's still on that wall now and toilet blocked remains blocked 12 days in. They smell floor flooded Animation sit smoking right next to toilets very off putting when need to go really shouldn't smoke when in duty.. Not all smoke but they know who do and when a women goes toilet it's quiet intimidating when 4 men sit outside the entrance.. Let's see what tonight throws with the mamma Mia disco will we have another night if floors vibrating windows vibrating even though double glazing. Terrible it's not a place for a nightclub needs a more secure if complex location I see why English firm don't come back here to be honest. I certinaly won't be ever again

The holiday was absolutely wonderful; all the hotel staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Our room was cleaned daily, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the evening entertainment was excellent. The beach was clean, and we always managed to find sunbeds by both the sea and the pool. There was something for everyone to choose from when it came to the food, and there was plenty of everything.

Beautiful Resort, back onto a private beach with warm clear water. There is sun loungers with umbrellas on the beach and around the pool area. The rooms are fine with air conditioning and a small balcony. But no tea, kettle or iron available. The lobby area is big with several comfortable seats and a small bar area. I did not use the spa area, so unable to comment. The best part was the mealtimes. Buffet with a variety of delicious meals and desserts. There are also food stations witjin the restautrant where you can have your dish prepared freshly in front of you. They made fresh pizza, pasta, grill fish, prawns etc. All food was absolutely delicious. Resturant staff are very polite and hardworking. Now for the negative. I found some of the male reception staff to be condescending and not very helpful. Especially, if you do not speak the language. The female receptionist Farda and the gentleman who works only nightshift does there best to be helpful and couteous. Big shout out, to the Animation Team and the Customer Relation Advisor Riyon!!!! I can't praise them enough for their hospitality in keeping guest happy and entertained. Riyon in particular is a lovely young man with good manners. He goes out of his way to make sure guest are comfortable and having a good experience at the hotel. I will definitely recommend speaking with him if there is any problem. Overall a lovely hotel, great food and warm beach.

The hotel is well-located in the city, close to the airport. Kudos to the entire time the hotel is excellent
