Hotel Rosa Beach Thalasso & Spa

Review – Rosa Beach Thalasso Cons: * There appears to be no doctor or nurse available at the hotel. During our stay, a guest collapsed and there was no qualified medical staff available to provide immediate assistance. An ambulance had to be called and, unfortunately, the person later passed away. This was extremely disturbing to witness and raised serious concerns for us regarding emergency preparedness at the hotel. * The cleanliness was extremely poor throughout the hotel. Our room was dirty, with visible old stains, accumulated dirt and a thick layer of dust. * Some rooms either had no hairdryer at all or had hairdryers that seemed unsafe to use. Ours smelled strongly of burning and became extremely hot, to the point where we were genuinely concerned it could malfunction or even catch fire. * The chairs in the reception area were visibly filthy, darkened by dirt and covered in stains. * The Wi-Fi network appeared to be unsecured. If you need to work from a laptop, especially a MacBook, this can be a serious problem. I reported to reception that my MacBook would not safely connect because the network appeared compromised or unsecured, but the staff were unable or unwilling to provide any useful solution. * The employee who handled our check-in was extremely arrogant and rude. His attitude only changed after I gave him a €10 tip, which left a very bad impression. * The food was repetitive, with almost the same options every day. Breakfast in particular was extremely poor, with very limited choice. * Some members of the animation team appeared to be under the influence in the evenings. Their behaviour was inappropriate and they were extremely persistent in asking for tips, sometimes even sitting down next to guests at their tables without being invited. Pros: * Apparently, if you lose your room key card, you do not have to pay extra for a replacement. However, before giving us another card, reception staff thought it was appropriate to joke that we would have to “sleep at reception tonight” because they supposedly did not have a copy of the card. Overall, based on our experience, the hotel falls far below the standards I would expect, particularly when it comes to cleanliness, staff professionalism, safety and basic guest services.

I can recommend this hotel for a pleasant holiday. We are very satisfied with the service in the restaurant, at the bar and especially a big thank you to the great animation team for the fun they do especially Simo and Neymar
