Hotel Tour Khalef

Had a wonderful experience at the Tour Khalef spent a week here with a friend just to relax, and we certainly did that we were well looked after from arriving at the hotel everyone was so friendly and welcoming. All the staff could not do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were very spacious and very clean Had such a wonderful time we are looking to come back again next year

This was our third time visiting Tunisia, but our first time in Sousse and at this hotel. We stayed for 11 nights as a family of three: myself, my husband, and our 16-year-old daughter. We had a lovely holiday! The hotel is beautiful, spacious, and has plenty of facilities, but what really made our stay memorable was the people who looked after us. 🏨 THE HOTEL AND ROOMS The hotel is beautiful and very large, with plenty of facilities to keep everyone happy. There are two large outdoor swimming pools. One is a saltwater pool with huge sunbeds featuring individual canopies for shade, as well as individual sunbeds positioned in the water. It's a lovely place to relax and enjoy the sunshine! The second pool has chlorinated water and two large slides, which are great fun. There is also a pool bar and a snack bar open throughout the day. The indoor swimming pool looked lovely too, although we didn't get a chance to use it. We booked a junior suite with two separate bedrooms divided by a door. The rooms were very spacious and clean, which was perfect for our family. Housekeeping visited twice a day, and the cleaning service was excellent. A special thank you to Sammaya and Fatima, who did a fantastic job looking after our room. We did have a little hiccup with our room at the beginning of our stay and had to move to another one. However, the staff handled the situation brilliantly and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. 💆‍♀️ SPA – A LOVELY EXTRA The hotel also has a spa, and we were kindly offered a complimentary 30-minute massage during our stay. It was a lovely extra treat and a thoughtful gesture from the hotel. 🌟 RECEPTION STAFF – ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! I honestly cannot praise the reception team enough! A very special thank you to Rafika, Lina, Souihir, and Fradj. The ladies would move the earth for us, and Fradj was equally brilliant. They were always willing to help and made sure everything was sorted out, especially when we experienced the issue with our room. We can be quite needy when we're on holiday, but these guys were always up to the challenge! Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, and their support made a real difference to our stay. And then there's Ali, our absolute favourite!❤️ He was always there whenever anything needed sorting out, and we knew we could count on him. You are all a real credit to the hotel! 🍹 BARS AND DRINKS – SABRI, FERHI, MAHRLENE AND KARIM There are four bars inside the hotel, plus a pool bar, so there are plenty of places to enjoy a drink throughout the day. The service was fantastic, and the staff often remembered your favourite drinks, which made everything feel much more personal. I'm someone who loves a large latte, and although they usually serve regular-sized coffees, Sabri went out of his way to make me a triple-sized latte just to keep me happy! 🤣☕ His service was A*! Thank you, Sabri, for understanding exactly how much coffee I need! A special mention goes to Ferhi, who worked as a waiter in the same area as Sabri. I'm sorry if I've spelt your name incorrectly, but your friendly service was much appreciated! I also want to mention Mahrlene, our pool barman (apologies if I've spelt your name incorrectly). He always remembered my favourite fresh strawberry mocktail! 🍓🍹 It's such a lovely touch when someone remembers your favourite drink without you even having to ask. And of course, there's Karim, our pool waiter, who made sure my husband had his drinks topped up and was never left thirsty! 🤣🍹 Karim certainly made sure my husband had his tipsy moments throughout our holiday! You kept him happy, and we had a good laugh about it! Thank you, Sabri, Ferhi, Mahrlene, and Karim. You each helped make our days around the bars and pools even more enjoyable. 🍽️ FOOD AND À LA CARTE RESTAURANTS The hotel offers three à la carte restaurants: Tunisian, Italian, and seafood, with the seafood restaurant located right on the beach. During our stay, it was my birthday, and we had a lovely dinner at the seafood restaurant. It turned into a truly memorable evening! A gentleman was playing the violin, and the staff brought me a birthday cake and sang "Happy Birthday". It was such a thoughtful surprise, and the atmosphere made the evening feel extra special. It's one of those lovely holiday memories I'll treasure. ❤️🎂 The main restaurant is very large, and the food is good, with plenty of variety to choose from. During lunchtime, there's also a barbecue, giving you even more options. Honestly, you certainly won't go hungry here! There's so much food available that you might find yourself eating far more than you intended! And one thing you absolutely MUST try is Chichi, the delicious Tunisian doughnuts! 😋 They are finger-licking good! 🎉 ENTERTAINMENT TEAM – LIGHT WAS BRILLIANT! I can't forget the entertainment team! Light was absolutely brilliant and so funny!😂 He really made us laugh and brought plenty of fun and energy to our holiday. 🏖️ THE BEACH – BEAUTIFUL AND WELL LOOKED AFTER The beach is stunning, clean, and well maintained, with plenty of sunbeds available. It's a private beach belonging to the hotel, with security and lifeguards on duty. There's also a large beach bar with waiter service, so you can relax by the sea without having to keep getting up for drinks. I want to mention the lifeguards because I was genuinely impressed by how attentive they were. I watched a lovely moment when a gentleman was at the beach with his little girl, who looked about three years old. She was playing next to their sunbed, and one of the lifeguards noticed the potential danger and moved the sunbed slightly so she wouldn't hit her head on the corner. I thought this was such a thoughtful gesture. It might seem like a small thing, but it showed that the lifeguard was actively looking out for the little girl's safety rather than simply sitting and watching. That moment really stood out to me. It's reassuring to see staff paying attention to the little details that can make a difference. 🐪 EXCURSIONS WITH BASSEM – OMG, WHAT FUN! We booked two excursions with Bassem: a camel ride and a quad-biking experience**, and OMG, what fun that was! 🤩😂 We had an absolutely brilliant time, and both experiences added something extra to our holiday. The prices were very good too, which made them even better value! If you're staying at the hotel and thinking about booking excursions, I would highly recommend booking with Bassem. If you're looking for some great fun and unforgettable holiday memories, these experiences are definitely worth considering. Thank you, Bassem, for such a fantastic time! ❤️ I've attached a photo for anyone interested. ❤️ OVERALL EXPERIENCE – A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER We had a wonderful 11-night stay and left with some lovely memories. The hotel has so much to offer: spacious rooms, fantastic pools, a variety of food, a beautiful beach, entertainment, a spa, and fun excursions. We enjoyed all of these, and my birthday celebration at the seafood restaurant was a particularly special moment. However, what really made the difference was the staff. From reception and housekeeping to the bars, entertainment team, and lifeguards, we encountered people who genuinely seemed to care about making guests feel welcome. Even when we had a problem with our room at the beginning, the team worked hard to resolve it. That meant a lot to us and left us with a very positive impression. A final big thank you to Rafika, Lina, Souihir, Fradj, Ali, Sammaya, Fatima, Sabri, Ferhi, Mahrlene, Karim, Light, and Bassem, as well as everyone else who helped make our holiday enjoyable. This was our first visit to Sousse, and we've come away with wonderful memories of our time here. If you're looking for a hotel with excellent facilities, a beautiful beach, plenty of food and drink options, fun excursions, and staff who go out of their way to help, this hotel is definitely worth considering. A beautiful hotel, a stunning beach, delicious Chichi, strawberry mocktails, extra-large lattes, a memorable birthday, brilliant excursions, plenty of laughs, and some genuinely lovely people. Recently returned from 2 week stay at this fine hotel , very reasonably priced,with superb beach and pool faclities ,comfortable and spacious accomodation , and first class service and entertainment.All staff of the highest quality and always willing and able to please ,and all obviously happy in their work which translates to their customers.Food and drink supplied almost round the clock of a great range and quality to suit all palates.The on site beach and pools spacious and never too over crowded despite the ever present problem of some reserving their beds with towels despite not appearing for, in some cases, hours.The main pool was the warmest we have ever experienced despite being very large .Finally the animation team,a talented and hard working group who tirelessly kept us amused btoh during the day round the pools and bars ,or on stage at night. Must make special mention here of the lovely Sissy, Malek, Light, Kiko and Jamaica with apologies to those we have missed.Must also mention bar staff Karim ,Hamza (never failed to supply 2 G & T 's promptly),Amen and Aymen,and Ben our usual waiter at mealtimes. Finally big thank you to Ahlem who serviced our room on A block top floor, to the highest standard. We are a couple who rarely return ,its a big world, but it is highly likely we will be back.

Fantastic hotel, great location with private beach, great pools and loungers, very clean and tidy, large rooms, excellent food (so much variety and different specialties every night), good entertainment and the staff were all so good; special mention to Hamadi, Sami, Hassad, Ben, Lina, Malik, Caramella, Lights and Yassine. We would certainly go again, our only criticism would be that the bed was slightly too firm for us.

Still here till 26th October with a friend in our own rooms and I came in May and a fantastic hotel with amazing staff and will do a review when I leave but it will be 5*
