Houda Golf Beach & Aquapark

My first visit here and it has been absolutely fantastic. Starting from the desk staff hospitality and the animation team. The animation kept the whole holiday experience even worthwhile. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The stay at this hotel was far less than expected for a 3-star hotel, the food was less than palatable with the only recognisable dishes being served in the form of pizza and fish… the entertainment staff are not very friendly towards english people and tend not to associate with us other than to pressure us into writing reviews to which they chose the amount of stars given. Staff in general were friendly at times but later in the night bar staff made several sexual remarks towards my girlfriend, shaking bottles up and down while calling her sexy girl etc. Pool is amicable and location of water slides is inconvenient as you have to go from the backside of the Hotel through the front to get to them. Pool is quite dirty on the bottom with sand and rocks and i noticed a few what seemed to be black olives? All in all very overvalued for a 3 star hotel and would not recommend coming

Rooms are smelly and outdated. Slides are fun but the lack of sunbeds at both pools is poor. Pressured into giving a review by animation team who then took our phones and confirmed a 5 star review before we could stop him. Alcohol is bad quality and tastes like hand sanitiser. Not as friendly with english people and mainly choose to sit and interact with french people. Food choices are poor and it isnt even labelled properly. Half the drinks machines dont work and man who fills coffee acts like you have insulted him when you ask him to do his job (giving you coffee ect) wifi is free but only works in rooms and bar. The animation member who practically forced us to do a review ruined the vibe of the night as he looked fuming at us after. Straight after he pressured us to do a review he went straight to another family. Shower pressure couldn’t hurt a fly and you have to cuddle the wall to get under the water. Phone didn't work and the rooms are dirty. Sheets had hairs on it the second i walked in and cleaners enter shamelessly

the room was poor the bathroom wasn't the cleanest and the shower didn't work properly in either rooms and only one phone worked there wasn't a tv or kettle and the cleaners use just walked in as they pleased without knocking and we had to ring reception for new towels one night as the cleaners had not been in the room at all that day. the pool and water park was good but a bit disappointing that the slides shut for a long period of time during the day. there wasn't enough sunbeds for each family and we were sharing 1-2 sunbeds between 5 of us. there wasn't a great variety of food and was mainly the same things at lunch and dinner and not a great selection at breakfast. the entertainment was good and the animation team was friendly apart from they pressured my boyfriends mam into writing a review of the stay then took her phone and written it themselves and gave everything 5 starts when it clearly is not then she could not change it to her actual opinion. they were not the greatest with english tourists and their focus was mainly on the french.

Restaurant choices are poor, animation team are ok but only speak to some people. Rooms are very dated and not very clean. Pool area is good and slides are good except they close during the day. We’re enjoying it but not the best place we’ve been to in Tunisia.
