The Hotel is marketed as a 4 star hotel, when it is at best 3 or nearer 2 1/2. Our rooms were supposed to be one pool view and one garden view. They were nether, in fact we had a view of the car park. It is a hotel predominantly for French and Tunisian guests. And as an English family, we were definitely back of the queue. The food was actually ok. But it was preferable to always have the things that were cooked in front of you. Nobody told us that the hotel filled the empty rooms with Tunisian guests at weekends. Which mainly meant that it was very congested in the restaurant and by the pool. The cleaning staff and waiting staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Although we had items stolen from our room on the last day. The reception staff were rather rude, unfriendly and gave as little help as, as they could get away with. I personally would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Read all the bad reviews and times by 10. Of course the animation team are loud, friendly & 'fun', they're paid to be and some seem genuinely nice. The reception staff, especially the young lady, cannot be less helpful and sour, and their unfriendliness is outstanding. The rest of the staff, some smiley & friendly, have little hospitality skills unless you continously tip them. This hotel chain seem to be scraping the recruitment barrel and employing the leftovers. Our 4th trip to Tunisia (2nd this year), and this is THE WORST hotel I've ever stayed in around the world. The drinks glasses are few & far between, do check for chips & lipstick marks too. If you find a good one, keep hold of it otherwise you'll get a cheap disposable plastic one, which they're also RINSING and reusing during the day if they're not split! Flies are everywhere, all over the food, around the pool, no wonder so many folk have got sick. The female toilets by pool are dreadful, broken or dirty seats, then we go swimming after?? The food is mediocre at best, undercooked often, very repetitive and there seems to be no joy or pride from any of the kitchen staff, most look bored and inconvenienced when you ask for something! No concierge or help with luggage, even to find your room is a mystery. And don't think the rooms are like the photos, they're not! They are extremely shabby, toilets & showers broken, sinks smell like sewers when you're running water to brush your teeth. We've been here 5 days now and are meeting people daily who are trying to swap rooms. We finally managed to swap after 3 nightmare days & nights and help from easyJet. I cannot stress enough how bad this hotel is unless you expect a 2* at most. Read the reviews, you will NOT get a good room, decent food, good service or a pleasant welcome. The place is unkempt, shabby, and no value whatsoever. Pay a few pounds more and go somewhere better, you won't regret it!

Mixed feelings about the hotel, the photos online and the advertised amenities are extremely different to what you get when you arrive. For a kick off the room we got was extremely different from those pictured, it was extremely small, dated and had numerous imperfections (Stains across the bathroom such as the toilet, toilet seat, walls, bath / shower, loose screws and broken tiling / masonry which could have easily caused injury if stood on), the air conditioning if you can call it that provides very little if no relief at all (Averaging around 30 degrees a day when we’ve stayed) and at times the heat was intense especially of a night time when trying to sleep, wouldn’t want to think what it was like in summer time. Around the pool plastic sunbeds are always available however there is only a select number of mats to make them comfortable (so be out early) and some sunbeds can be reserved the whole day without being let on and staff don’t remove people’s belongings. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is lacking whilst on the subbed you are swamped by flies due to rubbish being left out for days. There was a bin bag full of old food rubbish in front of the stage for 3 days and plates left out on our landing full of food for 4 days before being removed. The gym is small and in need of a clean but you can have an effective workout if your routine incorporates dumbbells, a lot of the machine equipment is either damaged or missing components so was unusable. The indoor pool didn’t have any water in it for several days so again wasn’t used, but was filled at the end of our holiday. The hotel mostly caters food to its biggest customer base (The french and North Africans mostly from other Arabic speaking countries) so the food is tailored towards that, albeit some of the days the food has been quite nice, others not so much as it’s all cooked in excess oil, there isn’t a overall wide selection or care given to those with allergies (None of the food has any allergen warnings and nuts mixed with other meals using same spoons). The snack bar (if you can call it that) opens at the same time as lunch and offers limited panini and crepes which the sugar is covered in flies until around 1500 when they swap to cooking burgers until around 1630 when they run out. No ice cream was available other than on select days in the restaurant for lunch and the only fruit available was melon or occasional peach/plum. The staff when we arrived was cold and unwelcoming not speaking to us other than to ask for tourist tax handing us a form to fill out and when half way through taking it out from under the pen and placing the card on the top stating 3rd floor. No map, no indications of how to access the WiFi or what times meals or other amenities open. Since then all been friendly, helpful and engaging so I can’t really complain there, from the cleaners, to the servers to the entertainment team and life guards. All speak Arabic and French fairly well but limited English. The entertainment team are the best thing about the hotel, throughout the day and of a evening the numerous entertainment staff put a great deal of effort into coming up with activities and things for the guests to do. I have stayed in many all inclusive hotels and the evening entertainment has been some of the most fun/engaging/ entertaining that I have been to thanks to the animation team. The hotel is located extremely nearby the beach and marina, a few times we’ve left the hotel and spent time outside, it’s been pleasant however like most other North African countries prepare to be approached and hassled by the locals who are either trying to sell you local items, rent equipment, or trying to scam you. Keep a close hold on your personal belongings and be aware, a firm no will normally suffice. However hotel staff will advise you regarding this when you arrived. To summarise this hotel definitely is not a four star hotel and is most certainly lower than the rating it has, we’ve made the most out of our stay whilst here however certainly will not be returning, a number of other guests we’ve spoken due during our stay also raised concerns and issues regarding all of the above.
