Lella Baya & Thalasso

Great hotel, great horse riding. Booked through the hotel with Mohamed horse riding really amazing sunset and experience. recommend it to everyone

We have just come back from a family holiday for two weeks at Lella Baya. Overall, the holiday was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. However, what let it down hugely was the food: 1. People pushing in queues 2. Long wait times for foods 3. Ovens not being turned on prior to lunch opening time so having to wait additional time for this. 4. Spoons are mixed between foods - veg, fish, meat, egg dishes the spoons and spatulas are free for all so you can’t be certain if you have allergies that things haven’t been contaminated. 5. We had undercooked foods; chips, burgers, and sausages. Stale bread rolls. 6. Everything tastes the same & oily. 7. If you pay all inclusive ensure it includes cocktails like pina colada’s they charge additional money for these cocktails. 8. I had a 4 year old and 1 year old and they both ended up refusing to eat and living off of watermelon. Hotel staff are lovely, everyone is friendly, smiling and genuinely want to make sure you have a lovely time. The animation team are great Ramos and Yasmine were great with our two children. Varying entertainment in the evenings, only downside is the bingo can take a VERY long time with too much talking. I would recommend the hotel but if you’re staying for more than a week consider food options because we had eat out as we just couldn’t face the restaurant. The WiFi is terrible. Definitely recommend the quad bike excursion it was brilliant!

Lovely hotel , great staff . Booked many trips through the hotel mohammed horse riding and camel riding . Recommend highly, enjoyed immensely . Other trips , boat .catamaran and quad bikes were great too . Hotel entertainment was very good and staff work hard to create a great holiday experience for all ages and do their best to include everyone .

The hotel, staff, pool & beach are all amazing. You have to pay a tax per person (around £30 for 2 weeks each). You have to leave a deposit for beach towels which is refunded upon their return. The food at the hotel is NOT good. It is a very small buffet with limited choice. The food is very bland & extremely repetitive. Two young children in our family group struggled to eat each day & pretty much lived on bread & melon for 2 weeks! It is complete chaos in the restaurant with everyone pushing in, under cooked food & food not being ready to select upon opening. We even had to eat out a few times as we could not face the buffet again! If you are a foodie, this is definitely not the hotel for you! We did the horse riding, pirate ship, jet skis & quad bike trips which were all good. The sea has blue jellyfish swimming around so you just need to be careful. A couple of people in our group were stung by them. We would visit Tunisia again but unfortunately not this particular hotel purely down to the awful food provided.

Beautiful hotel, great food, friendly staff, with a fantastic animation team. Would highly recommend for families and couples alike. Will definitely come back
