Medina Solaria & Thalasso

Came back for the second time this year and yet again an amazing stay. Definitely would recommend staying here! Location is great, close to shops, restaurants and the medina for some shopping. All staff is super friendly and will always go out of their way to help you! This definitely makes us want to come back. Food is very good even for an all inclusive. Most nights there is a theme night in the restaurant. Even picky eaters can always find something. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Overall an amazing hotel, we are already planning our next trip for next year! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay great :)

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in September and were very happy with our stay overall. What stood out to us the most was the excellent service and the friendliness of the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed very warmly and our luggage was brought up to our room for us. We immediately felt very welcome. We would especially like to give a huge thank you to Youssef from the restaurant. He was incredibly attentive and remembered us from the second day onwards. As soon as he saw us entering the restaurant, our usual drinks were already waiting for us at our favourite table. Whenever our glasses were empty, he was there to ask if we would like another drink. As a woman, I was even offered help with my chair every time I sat down. This level of attention and kindness is something you do not experience everywhere. Thank you so much, Youssef! We would also like to give a big compliment to Hassen from the pool bar. He regularly walked around the pool area to see if guests wanted something to drink and would bring the drinks directly to their sun loungers. We thought this was excellent service. Hassen was always incredibly friendly and always had a smile on his face, even after long working days. The pool bar manager, whose name unfortunately we do not know, was also fantastic. He was usually there from the afternoon onwards, joked around with the guests and prepared some great drinks. A big compliment to him as well! Another highlight for us was definitely the animation team. Nina, Loca, Pedro and Tchitcho did an amazing job. During the day, there were plenty of activities around the pool, such as Zumba, aqua gym, darts and more. In the evenings, the four of them created a fantastic atmosphere and we had so much fun. We really enjoyed spending time with the animation team. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was truly first-class. We also really liked the towel system. For a 20 TND deposit, you receive a card which allows you to collect a beach towel. The towel can be exchanged daily at the pool or beach. When checking out, you simply return the card and receive your deposit back. One point we unfortunately have to criticize Unfortunately, there was one thing that somewhat affected our otherwise very positive experience: the behaviour of the head of the animation team. We experienced his behaviour towards guests as inappropriate on several occasions. We noticed situations in which, in our opinion, certain guests were treated differently or inappropriately. He also became loud and aggressive towards me, even though I had simply made a harmless joke. We also noticed that his way of communicating with members of his own team was not always particularly respectful or friendly. This was unfortunately something that other guests we spoke to during our stay had also noticed. Personally, we also found his evening moderation rather disappointing. In our opinion, Nina, Loca, Pedro and Tchitcho were the ones who really created the atmosphere and made the evening entertainment enjoyable. One situation after the White Party particularly stood out to us: while his team members were cleaning everything up afterwards, he stood there watching instead of helping or supporting his team. Unfortunately, this left a very negative impression on us. Despite this, we want to emphasize that the rest of the service, and especially the staff mentioned above, were absolutely fantastic. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday, felt very comfortable and would definitely recommend this hotel. A huge thank you to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable! ❤️
