Paradis Palace

Paradise palace hotel give me lovely experience. The hotel is right next to the beach. The pool is nice and they do games and dances for in the water. They always make you be engaged and not get bored. The bungalow is very nice and I love it. The cleaning staff are doing fantastic stuff job. After dinner they always make different show and make atmosphere before the show very nice with games and also dances. Make sure and the little kids have fun not only.the adults. The animation staff are incredible in there job and very lovely and fun. They remember what kind of person ypu are and don't push you to engage in the games but if you decide to be active with them they make sure you have fun. All of the animation staff are incredible sweet people and they understand they job very good . The food is in many variations and very tasty. The cheese is very very tasty. Omg I forgot the tasty of real cheese and they give me back the taste. In night they do disco and is very fun haha

We have had a great holiday at The Paradis Palace. It is a beautiful hotel for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine. The staff are tremendous especially Mo the waiter who will bring a drink whenever your glass is empty. He's a lovely young man if a little sarcastic at times I will be back soon

Pros: The beach, pool area and the hotel grounds in general, food, some staff members were lovely. Cons: The hotel is slightly outdated (built in 1970s), our sliding doors on the ground floor would not close when we arrived and we had to wait for maintenance to fix it before we could go to the beach. They did show us another room but it was not that nice. We had a single level bungalow, it had a corner bathtub which was nice but really high up so anyone with mobility issues would not be able to get in/out. You have to pay for a safe. Entertainment was okay but after a couple of days repetitive. It also starts really late with the main act not on until 10pm. The rooftop bar doesn't open until 6pm and they charge for drinks. Pool bar is open from 10am. Beach bar doesn't open until 11pm and again, you have to pay for drinks there. We were really disappointed it wasn't open during the day at all. The DJ was also pretty bored and uninterested. You need to pay deposit for beach towels in cash which we didn't have. The public toilets in the hotel are generally not very nice and the ones near the reception smell horrid. Some staff were not that pleasant, although some customers were really rude to them so may be that had something to do with it. Note to the hotel management: One member of staff really stood out, he was smiley, genuine, had an excellent customer service and made our stay more enjoyable. I believe his name is Mondher Khiari, he works in the pool bar from 6pm. Please pass our thanks onto him - from Jin and the Cheeky Boy.

I cannot praise this hotel and its staff highly enough. The facilities throughout the hotel were outstanding, and the entire property was absolutely spotless. Our room was kept exceptionally clean throughout our stay, and the housekeeping staff were truly outstanding. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, pleasant and welcoming. As a mum travelling on my own with my children, I particularly appreciated how safe and comfortable we felt throughout our stay. I felt completely at ease, and my children felt safe too, which meant a lot to me. The atmosphere around the pool was fantastic. There was always something going on, with a great range of activities and entertainment provided throughout the day. The entertainment team were absolutely fantastic — friendly, energetic and engaging, while also making sure that everyone could join in as much or as little as they wanted. They really helped create such a fun and welcoming atmosphere around the pool. The restaurant and dining area were excellent, and I would especially like to mention Youssef, who served us every evening. He was incredibly attentive, friendly and thoughtful towards us, and his service really stood out. Overall, the cleanliness, facilities, activities, entertainment and, most importantly, the staff made our stay extremely enjoyable. A huge thank you to the entire team — you should all be very proud of the hotel you have created. We felt genuinely welcomed, looked after and safe throughout our stay, and that made a huge difference to our holiday.

We booked this hotel last minute. We checked the reviews on Tui and on Trip Advisor and while they were mostly all postitive there were a few negative so I was a bit nervous, the only thing I can say about those negative reviews, is they have either reviewed the wrong hotel or they are used to staying at the Ritz. We had the most amazing week, and although this is a 3 star hotel, other than the rooms being a little bit tired (in places) and basic, it was 5 star. The food was incredible so much variety and (sadly) not repeated in the whole week (I really wanted the Tunisian Macaroni again!!) We literally felt like we were in a food coma for the first 3 days (until we reigned it in) as you feel like you are constantly offered food. there is so much variety for breakfast lunch and dinner each day. The afternoon snacks of the freshly cooked in front of you Ftayar (Fresh hot donuts), pancakes, waffles and ice creams were very hard to resist. I am already missing my donut, I have just googled the recipe so I can make my own. The pool areas looked lovely but we spent our time on the beach and in the sea, which although being a bit seaweedy and rough on our first day following overnight storms was crystal clear and calm the next day - you even get a free fish pedicure if you stand still long enough! We saw an amazing (and huge) blue barrel jellyfish swimming by us. I have seen comments on other posts about the camel poo on the beach, its not that much, it is scooped into piles and really it just looks like dried balls of hay so very easy to step over. The beach is pure white sand and there are plenty of palm trees and umbrellas if like me you like some shade. When we arrived our room wasnt ready so we had to wait but got out wrist bands so could have a drink and lunch, the beach bar only serves beer wine and soft drinks so if you want spirits you need to go to the main bar. I don't like sugary drinks so always have coke Zero, this didnt come from the machine like the coke and fanta it came from bottles, I just wish they kept the bottles refrigerated as it was hot and they did get quite warm but it was ok as long as you added ice. When we got to our room it was very clean but a bit basic, 2 big bottles of water, and fridge and TV (2 english movie channels if you want some background noise while you are getting ready) the bathroom had a bath with shower over, we didnt really use the shower as I prefer baths, the water was hot which was good. We did go out of the hotel once there isnt much around the hotel so we took a taxi to Yasmine Hammemet Marina was really quiet but apparantly we should have gone to the Medina which we sadly missed. There were some comments I had read before we went away about the food being cold, but really watching some people its not suprising, people were coming into the restaurant picking up a plate wandering around putting food on their plates then looking for a seat so by the time they got to eat what they chose I'm not suprised it was cold. Perhaps they are just not used to how buffets work and think its like the school cafeteiria but really, choose your table, you waiter will pour your water, get you a drink and then you can get up look whats on offer at the buffet select you food and sit down back at your table with your freshly poured drink and enjoy a hot meal. Many people chose to sit in the same table night after night and although they would have gotten to know their waiter properly we are just not ones for routine, we have it day after day at home so want variety when we are on holiday. The staff work incredibly hard and cannot do enough for you, if there is something you need just ask and they will sort for you the hotel was full and very busy so things are bound to run out but I guarantee they already know and someone is on the way to re fill it. I am not a big drinker but do like a cocktail but the all inclusive selection was only I think 5 the rest were chargeable but the most expensive was about a fiver. We are't ones for entertainment but the animation staff work really hard to get everyone engaged with activites and people seemed to really enjoy it. We have still so much of the world to see but when we are ready to return to Tunisia I won't even consider going anywhere else than here, like so many other people we spoke to who have been back year after year.
