Royal Nozha Beach

I arrived back on Sunday from our 3rd visit in a year to this amazing hotel. We stayed for 10 nights but wish it was longer, we are all now suffering terrible holiday blues! This particular visit was booked quite last minute so I could only book 2 double rooms. We are a family of 4 with 2 children so not ideal. However as soon as we arrived the lovely Manager & the lovely guy from reception said he didn't want to see us split up so they offered to show us to a w bedroom interconnected room instead. It was perfect so we decided to stay in the new room. From the moment you walk into this hotel a very warm welcome awaits, all staff remembered us & were pleased to see us again. We arrived around 1pm so we could go straight into the restaurant for lunch. I love the fact you have your own table allocated for the duration of the stay. That is such a great idea. No looking round for a free clean table here! We always had the same waiter the lover Arbi, he also served us last year & remembered our drinks!! All the staff are fantastic at this hotel. So attentive, kind, polite & genuine people. I have met some lovely people in my 3 visits, staff & guests who will remain good friends. The beach is beautiful, the pool so warm. I even played Water Polo that I absolutely loved! The food is delicious & a great choice. My kids are very fussy eaters but they always found something to eat. The desserts are fabulous, amazing choice. However the stand out for us for this hotel has to be Slim & his amazing entertainment team Anis, Bob & Moha. What absolutely amazing, kind, funny & talented human beings! We love them all. On one day my son cut his foot quite bad & Bob used antiseptic on it & bandaged it up. He was so caring. The shows are really funny that they do themselves & they are all extremely talented dancers. On our last night they were doing a comedy show & I asked Slim if he would add 1 Michael Jackson dance number just for us. He did the most amazing Smooth Criminal! A truly talented man. We got involved with alot of activities, darts, water polo, crazy golf, water aerobics etc. All the activities were so much fun. Very glad I came out my comfort zone & joined in. One other thing I love about this hotel is that it's not too big, it has an amazing family feel about it. You get to know all the staff & guests. We certainly did not want to leave & already looking at booking again for next year! Thank you again Royal Nozha for making our 3rd visit so very special.

Just got back from an overall wonderful 14 day stay at this hotel. There are both negatives and positives but the positives override the negatives. Lets start with a couple of negatives 1. The food options were quite similar every day with not the best choices. What was available was mainly nice but on a couple of occasions the meat was undercooked. 2. They often ran out of bowls, plates, cups and when the buffet food became depleted there was often a wait for restocking. Metal spoons for dessert would be nice. 3. The cocktails could be a little better 4. Would be nice to have an evening option for the al a carte with a little more choice. Now for the positives 1. Upon arrival we were offered a suite instead of 2 separate rooms. The suite was lovely but my son and his girlfriend wanted to be completely separate so we declined. It was so nice to be given the option. 2. You have your own table in the restaurant so there is never a panic to find somewhere to sit, which is fab. Some of the tables are a little close together but it wasn't a problem. 3. The pool lifeguard Faisal and the beach lifeguard Achref are both great guys. Kind and happy to help with anything you need. Both were great with my kids. Interacting and playing games. 4. All of the waiters and bar staff are happy and chatty and remember what you drink. At lunch and dinner every day our drinks were brought to our table almost as soon as we arrived. It would be nice to be able to get drinks like water at breakfast though, without having to find someone to ask, but we went to the bar and asked ourselves so still not a problem. 5. The beach is lovely and well maintained. The sunbeds and bar areas are kept really clean and tidy by Achref. 6. The communal areas are kept spotless by the cleaners throughout the day. 7. Our room was lovely, although the bath was quite stained. 8. By far the biggest draw of this hotel is the entertainment team. Slim, Anis, Bob and Moha are all amazing. They have such great energy and there is a varied programme of activities to do throughout the day. They work extremely hard to keep guests happy and engaged but don't ever try and pester you to join in. If you aren't interested they leave you in peace. After the second day I was joining in with yoga, darts, aquagym, dance classes and aqua zumba. The kids also did water polo, boule/petang and mini golf. The foam party every week is so much fun too. I have never laughed so much or joined in with so many activities on holiday. I felt so alive and energised. Their language skills are brilliant, especially Slim who speaks 10 different languages. The evening entertainment was in the main great, the programme does however need to be a 14 day programme not a 7 day programme or you end up seeing the same thing twice if there longer than 7 days. The guys are also all phenomenal dancers and interact so well. We asked if we could have karaoke on for a 2nd time in a week and Slim arranged it. Fabulous. I can honestly say I have walked away with new friends from this holiday and I will keep in touch. They are the reason I will definitely be back. Looking at October and next August.

The staff at this hotel make it a 5, they cannot do enough for you! The hotel itself is beautiful and looks very plush in most communal places. In our room, the bathroom could do with a little update, but it’s my understanding the hotel is doing this as it can (as it generates revenue, it’s ploughed into renovations). From getting off the bus, help filling out the forms, being taken to our room, having everything explained to us over a welcome drink, felt so friendly and relaxing after sitting on a bus! One of the best ideas I’ve ever encountered is being given your own table for the entirety of your stay! Our waiter Abre, would see us enter and get our drinks to the table before we got there! The pool man Facil (apologies if I spell names incorrectly!) found us sun bed together every day, wheeling one around from somewhere else if necessary, constant smile on his face, same treatment for absolutely everybody that we saw! The barmen were all so accommodating, particularly Mohammed, who made sure there was no red coloured anything in my cocktails (allergies)! The animation team were lovely! As loud or as quiet as you wanted them to be! Non pushy! If you wanted to join in, you were welcomed, but if you wanted to chill, they left you relax! We aren’t the type of people who would return to a location twice as we believe the world is a big place and want to see as much of it as we can, BUT we will no doubt return here!

Good and bad…. Good Allocated tables in restaurant Beach lunch is limited but lovely Our waiter, Faycel, in restaurant Hibiscus barman (sorry couldn’t remember his name) Entertainment team not pushy Slim (entertainments team) is brilliantly funny Mattresses on sunbeds Very helpful when resolving issue with room allocation Beer on draft and glasses for beer Freshly squeezed orange juice for breakfast No queues! Bad People paying the pool/lifeguard guy to save sunbeds! Tables being too close to each other in the restaurant À la carte at lunch instead of dinner Air con not strong enough in the restaurant Wooden spoons for cups of tea and ice cream. Would suggest putting metal spoons on table with knife and fork

Spent 10 days at the Royal Nozha and we all had an amazing experience. The food was varied and tasty. Desserts were delicious! The drinks weren't the best, very sweet and limited. Although one of the nights they set up a cocktail bar which was better. Rooms clean, housekeeping was amazing cleaned daily and little touches of rose petals and pyjama arrangements were lovely. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, we had an early checkout and they allowed us to have pastries and drinks before the restaurant was open and on arrival the staff insisted we eat as soon as we got there. Beach bar, a la carte restaurant and beach parties were brilliant. Beach is beautiful and again staff could not be nicer. The entertainment staff were some of the best people I have ever met! Slim, Anis, Moha and Bob were all so friendly and welcoming. Got everyone involved without being overpowering. The games, dancing and evening entertainment were all great. Can't express how much they made our holiday.
