Sentido Phenicia

Stayed here for a week beginning of June 2026. The reception staff checked us in while we were sent for something to eat as we arrived after 9pm . We were taken to our room and cases were taken up by a nice young man . Room was clean and air conditioned . Rooms do need a little lick of paint . Beds and pillows let it down as they were very hard and only managed 2 hours sleep on a daily basis. Food was nice apart from breakfast. The entertainment staff are exceptional and crazy train is brilliant its a must ,nighttime entertainment done by entertainment team and was good they all put their hearts into it . All the staff are very friendly and all of them are a big credit to the hotel. Pool area is great no fighting for sunbeds . I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Well done evey staff member is this hotel.

Had the best time. Brilliant entertainment staff. All the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The hotel stay was a wonderful experience would definitely recommend to anybody looking to come. Will definitely be coming back.

We recently returned from our second stay at the Phenicia (we went in 2007 before we had children!). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Animation team are great and there are loads of activities throughout the day - yoga, Zumba, Aqua, volleyball, darts. Every evening except Monday there is entertainment and a show. Monday is the animation team’s day off. The food was great and they catered well for our child’s nut and legume allergies (we took translation cards and the chef showed us around each mealtime to show us what was safe and what to avoid). The crazy train is a great excursion to do with the animation team! Tipping is expected so I would recommend taking cash to exchange for dinar at the hotel reception. There is a cashpoint at the neighbouring hotel which charges 10 dinar per transaction. The rooms are a little dated but I understand the hotel is about to be renovated (this autumn?). We had an interconnecting room which was convenient. The hotel is right on the beach which is stunning. We’ll be back!

We have just come back from a week at Phencia Hotel and believe me when I tell you a week definitely wasn't enough. I read all the reviews before we went and was aware of comments that some areas needed a little tlc. I can honestly tell you that unless your the type to nit pick there is nothing that will spoil your stay there. The staff are lovely and will do anything for you, the food is amazing and if you cant find something you like you are VERY fussy. We stayed in a swim up room which was amazing, waiter service by the pool, mini fridges topped up daily and our maid was so lovely. Im already looking to book for next year but struggling to find availability for the swim up rooms 😕

What an amazing week at this resort. A true Tunisian welcome from the moment you arrive to the day you (have to) leave. Everything is clean, well maintained, the food is delicious, well prepared and there are tons of options for everyone out there. The main reason for this 5* review though is the staff. They are the true gems of this establishment and really made the holiday the best it could be. Whether it be the fabulous towel art by the cleaners, the smiles and conversations with the porters, the amazing service by the waiters (they kept me fabulously hydrated around the pool) and finally last but not least but the Entertainment Team with the likes of Alina and Co who always kept the party going with amazing enthusiasm and glorious smiles. We will be back! 🥰
