Stayed for 10 days end of April. Hotel was fine ,had a couple of issues but once reported quickly solved. Food was good enough but a bit repetable but you could always get something to eat. The upstairs Resaurant overlooking the sea was very good makes a change to be served rather than get your own Would go back

I think 4 stars is more than enough, I asked for a room with a shower not a bath because my wife is disabled and can’t go into a bath and not ground floor because we’ve had bad experience in other hotels people were drunk and trying to get in to our room, I had a reply back from the hotel and said that was not a problem. When we arrived at the hotel 10pm they gave us the room key and the porter took as to the room and it was ground floor and for a person with a wheelchair, the shower floor and the bathroom were the same level and when my wife had a shower the water went all over the floor and into the bedroom and I had to hold and help her get out of the bathroom and put towels on the floor and asked for more towels to use. She sat at the balcony and it was public pavement in front of the room and she had kids shouting and screaming at her. I had enough of that and went to the reception and I asked for another room with a shower and they said we only have one room with a shower so I have to take a room with a bath and help my wife when she uses it and guess what, they it’s a room above the one they give us before the only one available. The room is facing the sea and it’s fine from 10pm till 5.30 am then the locals come to the beach and make plenty noise and the have dogs with them. They have two bars the one they called for the all inclusive doesn’t look like a bar and the other bar has two televisions, bigger and nicer, has 3 staff and only 4 customers so I went there and ask for a drink, he said I need to pay or I can go to the other bar and bring a drink to this bar I said I’m all inclusive client he said not in this bar you guessed right I went to the other bar. They have a kettle in the room that doesn’t stop when the water boils and they do not give you more coffee and sugar the next day and when we asked for more from the cleaner she said we have to phone the receptionist. The television in the room is a joke a small tv with wires hanging down the back and when I switch it off it will not start and I have to get some one from the reception to get it fixed and he said I will bring you another one to switch it off and on I’m still waiting. Food is good but cold, staff in the bar, restaurant, porters, reception, house made, no animation or entertainment at night only loud music. If you are at the beach you need to go to the hotel to get a drink because the pool bar does not open till the end of May.

I am currently staying at Sousse Palace Hotel & Spa and unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it has been a headache. Check-in took over 40 minutes, and we were not given any information about the hotel facilities, timings, or services, which made settling in unnecessarily frustrating. We are booked for 4 nights, and now on our second night, it still feels like we are left to figure everything out ourselves. We are travelling with four children, and they have also been very disappointed, particularly with the lack of entertainment available. The food is mediocre at best, and there is little to no entertainment, which makes the overall atmosphere quite dull. The hotel is not child friendly, There is nothing to do for them once they are done with swimming and being on the beach. The most frustrating issue has been the lack of air conditioning. We were informed that the AC is not turned on until mid June, despite temperatures reaching around 30°C. This has made it extremely uncomfortable, especially at night, and very difficult to sleep. To make matters worse, there are no separate fans provided as they are built into the room, and they also do not work. We were upgraded to a suite, which was appreciated, however this came with its own problems. The shower leaks water into the main room, and now we do not want to use the shower. And only use that bath tub. There is a kettle in the room, but no tea bags provided. The fan does not work in the suite, there are windows in the suite however unable to open them. Called reception and they sent the maintenance guy up twice nothing.. he looked around briefly, said something in their own language, and left without resolving anything. I had to call reception a third time to ask if they could at least help open the windows, only to be told this was not possible due to “security reasons,” However, my friend staying on the 9th floor is able to open her windows, which makes this explanation very confusing and frustrating. We also noticed an inconsistency in room amenities: our standard double room had hotel slippers provided, but the suite does not, which was surprising given it is an upgrade. Additionally, when we requested an iron, the one provided was broken. Overall, while some staff have tried to help, the facilities and overall experience do not meet expectations, especially for a hotel of this standard. Unfortunately, this has not been an enjoyable stay so far.
