Vincci Saphir Palace

Location,nothing to do , beach absolute dump, pictures are misleading , men pestering saying they are chefs from hotel & trying to take you to places your unaware of to get you to go to what they call their family shop. Atmosphere, none , no entertainment apart from playing same repeatative droning music constantly, evening: someone playing music off a laptop . Rooms : nice ,clean & spacious , view from room was of a dump of a beach. Was the holiday worth the money :NO: mis sold of what looked a beautiful pool area & beach,reason why we booked hotel. Service : was ok. Food repetitive but always something to eat. Staff: accommodating & pleasant. Hotel grounds, no water in pools or sun loungers, as when asked staff members reason, to cold , that should be the customers decision not the hotels, lot of maintenance going on which again unaware of when booking.

Flew over for a quiet week away from the rain in the UK and chose this place based on reviews and beach location. The hotel, staff, facilities and location have all been beyond expectations. Quiet winter season, large hotel with outside pool closed for refurbishment, not a problem though as indoor pool is large, 27 degrees and deep to shallow, next to the Gym which is small but new equipment, two lots of everything and free wieghts. Multiple bars open from 8 am till 11pm, Rafiq is very polite, speaks 4 languages and a wealth of knowledge of the local area and sites to see. Nothing is ever to much for any of the staff. Reception, kitchen, bar, spa and out in the grounds, very pleasant atmosphere, clean and spacious hotel. Wheel chair access into hotel and reception, lifts, dining room all on the ground floor so no problems getting around but the bar area and outside grounds are step access with no ramps available so could be improved please. Very grand, french colonial feel to the hotel but not outdated. Rooms very spacious with sea view or pool view, clean, modern comfortable beds, spacious walk in showers, large bath, modern loo's and options for daily room clean or two or three times a week etc. Management available and polite, always a smile and a Bon Jour. Always asking for your opinion and ideas to improve, Impressed with the all inclusive drink options and quality. Food is freshly cooked, grilled sea bass to die for, steak slices and turkey kababs grilled fresh in front of you and the buffet food is top quality, fresh, ample and well dressed. Just really boring and annoying foyer music that is repeated morning, noon and night. It's a piano chorus lift music. Great hotel, well located close to the marina, 10 min walk along the promenade and a water park, bazaar and local bars, coffee and restaurants easly within 5 min walk from hotel.

It was the best hotel I stayed in, out of the 9 stays I spent in Tunisia.Excellent location, dream beach and sea, excellent hotel and our accommodation on the 4th floor, great staff.Excellent price-quality balance of services. Everything was superlative, the food was very good and varied, fruits, sweets, everything.I ate the pistachio cream soup with pistachios in it = dream!I miss going back to this hotel, it's the best. The only thing that bothered me was the fantastic noise on the street from some locals who were screaming drunk and revving their motors at midnight and after.Unfortunately, you cannot manage the situation, the authorities, the police, who I didn't really see present.I had a room facing the sea, implicitly facing the road and promenade,we kept the balcony door closed and turned on the air conditioning, with the door open we couldn't rest.maybe a notification from the hotel to the authorities wouldn't hurt. But let's leave that this situation , our stay was worth all the money, even more than we paid, and we thank you with great respect. I hope to see you soon!

First of all the location of this hotel is Amazing. Just near the sea with a wide alley to jog or run in the morning. Secondly the atmosphere is very welcoming and the personnal are very sweet and friendly. Special mention to Salem our tour guide, Kader and Lilly who nailed the massage and honestly i would't ask for anybody better than her. The rooms were a bit chilly sometimes and the hot water went KIA but outside that the rooms were neatly cleaned every time we came back. For the value to service ratio i rate it a solid 4 star. Cleanlinless wise it was always tidy except the WC of the dinning hall wich flooded most days but the personnel tried their best to clean it regularly. The only downside i will find was the noise at night time when we were sleeping: i am slight sleeper and the noices from the feast at night honestly threw me away and had so many sleepless night. Outside this i will this recommend this Hotel. XOXO
