Having just got back from my 5th visit this year which says it all , for me the hotel has been the best it’s been for the last few years , the food has been outstanding this last few visits, Kumsal lunch time menu has been lots better, well done to okay & team for excellent service every lunch time , The entertainment team have been fantastic especially Tom & Okan , the shows have been fantastic this season again lots better than previous years . When your a repeat guest to which many are at this hotel it’s good to have a change in menus the A al carte restaurants have been superb , Luna bar with Yaren & Ferit fantastic service as always, there were a few new waiters this year what worked very hard & deserve a mention & that’s Firat & Yahah . Skater boys excellent as always & a special mention to Baran from guest relations who always stopped for a chat to ask if everything was ok & if we needed anything. Well done to all the management & excellent staff what make this hotel a special place to visit , looking forward to spending new year at this amazing hotel.

Great hotel. Great staff. This was our 2nd visit. Staff remembered us from last year. Food, entertainment excelkent. Unlimited visits to 5 a la cartes. Recommend this hotel and will visit again. Well done Akra Kemer.

We really liked the hotel; there are activities suitable for many different age groups. The staff are very attentive—we’d like to thank Ruvy and Sevda, who were wonderful with the children. We recommend this place to everyone!

From the moment we walked into the hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was a good size, very clean with lots of freebies from toiletries, a free bag and a plate of of Turkish delight and added bonus of your own iron and ironing board. The fridge was stacked with water, soft drinks and beer, they'd also provided snacks which were stocked up daily. The restaurants including the alacart were clean and a large variety of choices. There was an outside pizzeria, crepe and waffle restaurant with a choice of fresh fruits, a selection of scooped I've cream and also ice lollies to choose. For a quieter pace there was a patteserie with a selection of sandwiches, delectable cakes, coffees and other drinks and also ice-cream. There are several shops within the hotel where your left to browse and not pestered. This is the first hotel I've stayed in where all staff are friendly and appear happy and cannot do enough for their guest as nothing too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and colleagues. It appears talking to guest that they are repeat visitors and some several times a year. We recently returned from a ten day stay at the Akra Kemer staying in a deluxe Jacuzzi suite . I have to say that we have previously stayed at the Akra Antalya and on two recent occasions at the Akra Sorgun, without doubt the staff at this hotel matched our previous Akra experiences, they were helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We have marked this hotel as three stars due to the issues with the sunbeds, compared to the other Akra hotels we have stayed in we found the hotel more compact and that the sunbeds were situated close together. What caused further issues was people reserving beds. At this hotel guests can attend the Spa and help themselves to however many towels they want. What we actually saw was guests with armfuls of towels walking to the pool where they reserved beds, in the shade where they placed towels and on the beach, sometimes not even returning to the towels and just abandoning them.. The battle for beds begins early in the morning for beds around the relax pool (in the sunny part), on the beach and especially on the pier. One guest explained how they placed pegs on the chairs they required the night before, then returned in the morning and placed towels. Due to the sunbeds being close together guests did not just take two spaces, they also took the bed next to theirs to give more room as the sun moved around. This sunbed situation really spoiled our holiday and caused unnecessary stress each morning. Following completion of guest questionnaire we did speak with the Guest Services who did listen to our concern and explained that the issue with sunbeds and towels had become worse in the last 12 months and is being monitored by Management, I hope that they can resolve this matter. We enjoyed the food and drink and especially the Asian A la carte which we visited twice. The jacuzzi room was spacious and kept spotlessly clean. We did request prior to visiting the hotel for a room on the opposite side of the hotel to the neighboring Orange County hotel, on arrival we had been allocated a room overlooking that hotel and after sitting on our balcony in the late afternoon the loud live music and DJ was horrendous, we requested a move and the front desk staff were very helpful in organising this and three days later we had a new room on the other side of the hotel which was excellent. We walked into Kemer town several times but this had little to offer, same shops selling same items. You are not able to walk around the marina. We booked the Tui Antalya day trip which consisted of a trip to the Waterfall and a tour of Antalya, we loved this trip and really enjoyed the experience. It is clear from speaking with a number of British guests that they love the hotel and regularly return, sadly despite the staff, we will not do so and will be returning yet again to the Akra Sorgun next year. If you want a relaxing quiet holiday with plenty of space then this is not the hotel for you.
