Asteria Family Resort Side

Had a brilliant hioliday at this hotel. There was plenty of facilities and lots to do in the day and night. Always lots going on around the pool. Evening entertainment was always fun and made our evenings special. Special thanks to Diyar for the entertainment.

Ugh were do I start so I start right entertainment SHOCKING honestly Iv seen better of a naked man dancing on Britain’s got talent for a kids Resort u would think the entertainment would be decent wrong now FOOD where do I start get for dinner at 6:30 bc then pack away at 6:40 no time what so ever and they start cleaning under ur feet while ur eating then late dinner or late breakfast 🤨 nah it’s just scraps from the food before about 5 iteams on a counter and ur left to the hunger games with another 100 people who woke up late to get food then ROOMS okay so no light in one of are rooms one plug socket didn’t work out of the two plug socket you do have in ur room then after all of that the door wouldn’t lock BATHROOM dirty wasn’t cleaned well then when we looked in the bath we seen spiders and ants STAFF cleaners were so nice honestly lovely people and the room drivers were nice aswell but food and bar staff didn’t even acknowledge you and wanted to talk more with work mates about life than ask ur drink order leaving u and a queue of 20 people waiting 10 minutes just for 2 Pepsi maxis NO LIFEGUARDS we came to realise as are 9 year old travelled down the water slide at 30mph that the curnt of the slide was dragging her under as no life guard came to help I quickly rushed over to pull her to the side I later read the sign that no life guards on duty as 200 people including kids swam run jumped slipt and cut themselves I’m very disappointed 4grand for what a health hazard and rudeness the actual town ANTALYA beautiful the beach wow wonderful would come again to Antalya but not to this hotel.

I am giving an honest from the heart review of the Asteria Hotel. Firstly the positives: I would like to thank all the staff for making our holiday experience so good. The staff were always pleasant, polite, and helpful. On the first day we had a problem with the air con in one of the bedrooms, we spoke to reception and within 30mins they were at our door sorting out the problem. Our friends had a big problem with ants in their room, and they were moved the next day (we arrived at 11pm, so too late to move then) The grounds of the hotel were spotless thanks to the hard work of the gardeners and especially in 40° plus heat! The entertainment staff were always friendly, with different activities throughout the day, and they always had time to stop and say hello. Restaurant/bar staff always friendly too The food was really tasty and a great selection each day and always cooked to a very good standard. I highly recommend the little chicken kebab wraps from the pool snack bar. Pool area were clean, and again this was due to the staff working hard early morning clearing up, and constantly throughout the day too. The rooms, yes, they maybe basic, but they were clean and always had a stock of bottled water in the fridge. We stayed in room 2828, which was a junior suite, lovley view of the mountains, but a little noisy due to the road behind it. You may queue at the bar at times, but you can use the waiters around you. We were there in peak season, so we expected it to be busy, but with 3 pools and the beach so close, the pools never felt full. Evening entertainment was brilliant, especially the Michael Jackson show, definitely not one to miss! Negatives: The rooms, especially the bedrooms are very poorly lit, the twin room had a very dim side lamp and that was all. The shower goes from very got, to very cold, to normal, once you work out the pattern, it is fine. Not exactly big negatives I know, but just something to be aware of. Our biggest disappointment was our rep called Ennis, obviously nothing to do with the hotel and they are in no way to blame for his incompetence, but he sold us trips and when things went wrong with the trips, he completely ignored our calls and messages. But as I said the hotel is not to blame for this. (So if your rep is called Ennis, be careful of what he promises with the trips, especially the pirate boat one, he told us no more than around 70/80 on the boat at one time, we reckon there was around 160, and you could hardly move on it!) Overall a fabulous experience and we would definitely return. Thank you Asteria Family! 😊
