Balmy Foresta

We had great time here with my friends lot of thanks for reception for rooms that they gave us. entertaintment, foods, drinks, beach and pool was amazing and we relaxed very well.

Travelled to the hotel before when it was Paloma Foresta and as we wanted good quality we thought we would return. Unfortunately the Balmy Foresta is not the same standard. The food is very basic and not a good choice of vegetarian options, also not clearly labelled and you have to scan a QR code for everything including drinks menus. We understand that All Inclusive food is never going to be piping hot but everything is luke warm at best. There doesnt seem to be enough staff for the hotel in the restaurant and bar especially in the evening when you can queue for 10-15 mins for a drink whilst other people get table service ( Not sure if this is a nationality issue or whoever tips the most). On a positive note the grounds are lovely and the room is basic but clean. Certainly not the 5 star experience we had last time.

This was our third visit—though this time to Balmy Forest rather than Paloma Foresta. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed on this occasion. On the plus side, the grounds are well-maintained, and a children's pool has been added. Yoga classes were ok. Sea was warm and clean. As for the food, I think everyone can find something to eat, though it doesn't quite live up to a 5-star standard. What changed for the worse? Ni piano music, no Turkish nights, 2% entertainment for kids, The entertainment—or rather, the lack of it; it was a mere imitation. The mini-disco was the same every day and completely unengaging—it felt like they were just going through the motions. In the Teen Club, you had to play billiards with broken cues—it was simply awful.They say soft animation meaning GUESTS SHOULD ENTERTAIN THEMSELVES. The local alcohol was unpleasant, though the beer was drinkable. Housekeeping was non-existent, even when we left tips; they simply remade the beds and provided fresh towels—that was it. I would not recommend this place, and I will not return. This was our third and final visit to this hotel; the transition from Paloma to Balmy ruined everything—it has become simply unbearable.

Overall, I had a very good experience at Balmy Foresta Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful and surrounded by incredible nature. There is so much greenery, with palm trees and the Kemer mountains in the background, which creates a really peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. But some of the buildings and surroundings do feel a little older, and it seems like they have mainly been repainted and refreshed to make them look newer. The food was excellent, both in the main restaurants and at the snack bars. There was a good variety and the quality was very satisfying. I also really liked that they had refrigerators with cold water and soft drinks near the beach, which was very convenient. The beach toilets were clean, which I really appreciated. On our last day, when we had to check out and needed somewhere to shower and change, we used the spa facilities. The shower area in the spa was clean and convenient, which made the last day much easier. There were, however, a few things that I think could be improved: Almost all of the glasses and dishes were not washed properly and still had visible stains on them. This is something that should definitely be improved. There is no late dinner option. If you arrive late or miss dinner, there aren't many proper food options available afterward. Another issue was that the reception did not provide irons for guests, which was inconvenient when we needed to iron our clothes. The beach could have been cleaner and more organized, as it was a little messy. The patisserie is located inside the lobby, which makes it feel a little boring and doesn't really create a special atmosphere. I think it would be much nicer if the patisserie were located outside, perhaps in a more open and inviting area where guests could sit and enjoy their desserts and drinks. The receptionist with tattoos on his neck was not welcoming at all and was quite rude during our interaction. I think the reception staff should be more friendly and professional, as they are the first point of contact for guests.

I truly do not understand the negative reviews! Food - fabulous, all staff - amazing, facilities - spot on, environment - beautiful, cocktails - delicious. I'm fussy and fairly well travelled and this was a lovely holiday, thank you everyone at Balmy Foresta. 😊
