We’ve been back home for a week and a half, but we’re still talking about our wonderful ten days and how special the whole experience was. A huge thank you to the entire team for the exceptional service. What impressed us most was how warm, attentive and genuinely kind everyone was. The team was always there exactly when needed, while remaining completely natural and unobtrusive. You could truly feel that they care about what they do. We felt incredibly comfortable from the very first day and were able to completely relax and enjoy our holiday. The food was another highlight — the incredible variety, quality and, above all, the taste impressed us every single day. We had been looking forward to this holiday all year and had high expectations, but you still managed to exceed them. Even now, we’re still talking about how wonderful our stay was. Thank you for ten unforgettable days. Every member of the team contributed to making our holiday so special. And one thing is certain: we can’t wait to come back! ❤️

I only have good things to say about our holiday at Berut Hemera. I can’t fault the food, there were plenty of sunloungers available, extensive cocktail menu, and excellent WiFi coverage throughout. Staff were consistently friendly, professional and attentive. The Turkish and Italian à la carte restaurants are highly recommended. Rooms were clean and the pillows were perfect. Loved everything about this hotel.

The introduction to Barut Hotel’s website states that their philosophy is “happy employees - happy guests,” and this perfectly encapsulates why our stay at Barut Hemera was so memorable. From the very start of our trip to the final check-out, every single interaction we had with the staff was flawless. Nothing was too much trouble, and service was always delivered with a genuine smile. On arrival, we were attended to quickly and personally. We were handed reusable water bottles and shown to our room on our own timeline—there was absolutely no feeling of being hurried. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable, featuring all the thoughtful touches we’d read about in other reviews, including a handy beach bag, a coffee pod machine, and a well-stocked mini-bar refilled daily with beer and soft drinks. We slept incredibly well, which is always a top priority. We even ordered a different pillow type from the hotel’s in-app menu, and it was delivered to our room within an hour—an incredibly convenient service! The dining options throughout the day were fantastic. Breakfast offered an excellent, expansive choice every morning, with the freshly made omelettes being a particular highlight. We also absolutely loved the Hanımeli Patisserie for our morning coffee paired with their incredible selection of cakes and pastries. For lunch, we often preferred the relaxed vibe of the Kumsal Beach Bar, which serves a varied menu from 12:30 until 15:45. If you fancy a change, the Olive restaurant near the Quiet Pool and the Burger House by the main pool both offer great alternative lunch menus. In the evenings, we ate almost exclusively at the main buffet restaurant, though we did try the Olive À La Carte, which was absolutely fabulous. While the overall food quality was commendable, I do have a couple of small quibbles as a vegetarian traveler. The selection felt a bit repetitive over time and was quite limited for non-meat eaters. It was quite difficult to find dishes with a solid protein source; while there was an ever-present chickpea stew, it would have been wonderful to see a chickpea curry or a tofu stir-fry, which I’ve enjoyed at other hotels in Turkey. On a sweeter note, I must warn future guests that the desserts are dangerously nice—there is so much choice and everything is indulgently delicious! As for the bars, the drinks selection at Barut Hemera is genuinely top-tier. They serve premium, branded international spirits at every bar along with a beautifully curated cocktail list. We enjoyed so many of them, but the "Godfather 1970" quickly became my personal favourite. When it came to relaxing, our absolute favourite spot was the 16+ Quiet Pool, which provided the perfect, peaceful sanctuary to spend our days. We cannot recommend this beautiful resort enough, largely thanks to the phenomenal team running it! And nothing confirms how great our experience was that we have already booked to return next year! Can’t wait to see you all again!

We arrived as a couple and my sister so we had a 2 bed room . We had a little problem with the room but it was quickly resolved . There was plenty of choice for food and we dined at 3 al a carte restaurants which were all really lovely. The entertainment in the evening was varied some of which we enjoyed at the Beach Bar and the Meltum Bar although I do feel they need to sort out the lighting on the stage of the Meltum Bar as I struggled to see the musicians and singers . The ambience of the hotel is relaxed and the hotel staff in all depts cannot do enough for you . As a returning guest it was lovely to be recognised by the staff and greated with hugs . We will return but not next year as we have cruises booked but 2028 we will be back .

My husband and I visited this amazing hotel in September for 10 wonderful nights . We had a speedy check in and quickly shown to our room , Our room was clean and comfortable there was a room spray stand which you were to chose your favourite and it would be sprayed in your room every day by the maids, it was a lovely touch and smelled amazing . The view from our balcony was not the best, over looking waste land and roof tops. I phoned reception asking to be moved for a better view I was kindly asked to come back in the morning as the hotel was full . We got moved but to be honest there are lots of large trees so views might be restricted anyway. Food was delicious, my husband is coeliac this hotel was amazing for him !! Gluten free beer was on offer at every bar, Guest relations booked an à la cart for us he had to choose his courses so it would be prepared separately which was not a problem, Staff at the quiet pool restaurant remembered him and offered him gluten free pasta without him asking . Drinks were top notch from cocktails to branded spirits with small cans of Coke Zero or sprite etc. water bottles were given at check in for you to fill up as there are no plastic bottles which is a great thing for the planet. The staff are amazing and a credit to your hotel, managers are always visible and approachable and welcoming. I could go on and on about this wonderful oasis . I would not hesitate booking this hotel again and probably will .
