Flora Garden Beach Hotel - Adult Only

We booked our holiday at Flora Garden Beach Hotel through TUI and, overall, had a fantastic stay. There were only two things that let the resort down for us, but unfortunately, they were quite major issues and are the reason we have given it 4 out of 5 rather than a full 5. Food and Drink The food was amazing throughout our stay, whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. I would especially recommend the pizzas from the snack bar at lunchtime. They were delicious! The drinks were another highlight. The bartenders were brilliant and could make pretty much any drink you asked for, as long as they had the ingredients. All the staff around the resort were friendly, helpful and well organised, which really made a difference to our stay. Pools, Facilities and Location The pools and facilities were brilliant, and being right next to the beach made it even better. One thing that really stood out to us was how clean the resort was. The grounds and facilities were well maintained, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel really added to the overall experience. We only left the resort once during our stay, when we went on a tour of the temples in Side. Honestly, there was more than enough at the hotel to keep us happy for the rest of the holiday. We would definitely recommend a trip to Side if you fancy exploring a bit of local history. There are some lovely historical sites to see, as well as markets where you can pick up souvenirs. Evening Entertainment and Sauna The evening entertainment in the piano bar deserves a special mention. It was a solid 10/10! There was a great variety of entertainment during our stay, including dancers, live bands and solo singers. The performances were brilliant, and it was a great way to spend the evenings. There was always something different to enjoy, and we were genuinely impressed with the quality of the entertainment. The sauna was also amazing. The staff there were lovely, really welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. The Two Downsides 1. The Incident with the Resort Cat On day six, my partner was scratched by one of the resort cats while we were eating lunch. Unfortunately, this meant spending around seven hours travelling between two hospitals to get rabies vaccinations, followed by a hefty €550 bill. Thankfully, we had travel insurance, but it was an incredibly stressful experience and took a big chunk out of our holiday. We understand that accidents can happen, but it was certainly not something we expected to deal with while away, and it had a real impact on our stay. 2. The Prices at the Resort Market Our other issue was the market inside the resort. We found the prices confusing and, in our opinion, quite unreasonable. One day, I bought a packet of crisps and a magnet for 340 lira, which was roughly £5. The following day, we bought a magnet and two packets of crisps and were charged 700 lira, which was over £10. I was told that the magnets were €3 each and the crisps were 170 lira per packet, which made the prices even more confusing. Based on those prices, the magnet alone would have cost around £5. My advice would be to avoid the resort market and save your souvenir shopping for the markets in Side instead. You can have a look around the town, explore the historical sites and do some shopping while you are there. Overall Verdict Despite these two issues, we had a fantastic holiday at Flora Garden Beach Hotel. The adults only atmosphere, beachfront location, amazing food, brilliant drinks, lovely pools, cleanliness, friendly staff and excellent evening entertainment all made for a really relaxing break. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for an adults only beach holiday, and booking through TUI worked well for us. The resort itself was excellent, but the incident with the cat and the confusing prices at the market were significant enough to bring our rating down to 4 out of 5. Putting those two experiences aside, we had a brilliant holiday and came away with some lovely memories. We would happily recommend the hotel to others looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Flora Garden is a stylish adults-only hotel with lovely boho-style bar and a relaxed atmosphere. Unlike many hotels in this area you have a lot of privacy on the beach and the weather this late autumn was still good with warm sea temperatures. The rooms we had on the first floor were rather very small for two people, but the views of the pool, sea and sunset more than make up for it. I would avoid the garden-view bungalows. They are very dark and look rather dated. The food was good, with plenty of choices, including vegetarian options and fish. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the late-night dinner service including warm food. A big plus is the excellent coffee house, where you can order all kinds of coffee, even with oat milk, just like at Starbucks. There was live music every evening and opportunities to dance in the hotel bar which we enjoyed. The all in inclusive drinks were good, too. The staff were very helpful and caring throughout our stay. The receptionist spoke excellent English, which made communication easy. We were especially grateful for the staff’s support when one of us needed medical assistance. We can recommend this hotel to a more mature audience looking for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds.

Big disappointment. Photos do not represent the hotel now. NOT 5 star by any standards. Food awful, cold in all areas. Charged for additional room key .!! Broken sun beds, broken tiles around pool. Guest relations poor, management to busy smoking and drinking coffee. Intimidating and made to feel awkward if you complained. Where this resort MIGHT have been good when opened its standards and attitude towards guests extremely poor. On return home we contacted TUI rep .. basically told we didn’t have any evidence and so nothing they could do. They only have to scroll down past the five star reviews 🙄 to see repetitive complaints .

Brilliant place! Delicious food, lovely friendly and staff. Dena and Sibel were especially helpful and helped us book the restaurants and our trips outside the hotel. The restaurant food is exceptional.
