Gloria Verde Resort

We are staying in a Select Villa. They are a collection of ~20 semi-detached villas around a private pool, gardens, gym, restaurant and bar. It offers a much quieter, more relaxed atmosphere than the main hotel, which has suited us perfectly.One of the things we have enjoyed most is having the choice. We can stay in the peaceful Select area with its more personal service, or take the golf buggy over to the main hotel to use the beach, spa, restaurants and other facilities. We have mostly chosen to stay in the Select area for the peace and quiet. A special mention to Dilaria at the Select bar. She has been consistently friendly, attentive and welcoming, making sure we always have drinks and snacks when we need them. She is a real asset. The Select restaurant has a smaller breakfast and dinner offering than the main buffet, which is to be expected as an a la carte, but the lunch menu is excellent with plenty of choice. Ilkay who manages the restaurant has been very welcoming. She is thoughtful, caring and also accomodating of requests, including arranging for pastries and chocolates to be delivered in advance in readiness of meals. Dilaria and Ilkay are a great team and make sure you feel very looked after. Our villa has been kept very clean throughout our stay, with housekeeping doing an excellent job of restocking towels and toiletries. The main buffet offers a good variety of food, particularly the grilled meats and fresh salads, although it can get very busy at peak times and finding an indoor table isn't always easy. We also wanted to thank the reception team, especially Merve, who was incredibly kind and empathetic when I needed to see the nurse one evening. It made a stressful situation much easier, and having medical facilities on site is very reassuring. As with most large resorts, the standard of English and customer service varies between staff, but overall we mostly found everyone to be friendly and helpful. One thing worth noting if you have stayed here before is that returning guests told us the Select package now includes fewer benefits than in previous years, particularly regarding access to facilities at the other Gloria hotels. This wasn't an issue for us as first-time visitors, but it may be worth checking exactly what is included when booking, as expectations from previous stays may no longer match the current offering. Overall, if you're looking for a quieter holiday with the option of using the facilities of a larger resort then the Select Villas offer a really nice balance.

This was our 18th time in Gloria and again, everything was perfect. The food is delicious with so many options, the pools and sports activities are amazing and every night you can party and dance or watch a great show. Seeing familiar faces like Giovanni or chef Huseyin Kirmizikan always makes us feel like we are home, without them gloria wouldn’t be gloria. I’d also like to appraise the pasta chef, Melis from pilates, Merve for being a great animator and Emrah for chatting with me about DJing. Every single time at this hotel is perfect and that’s why we keep coming back. The only thing that’s not as good as it used to be are the extra funny activities. Before there were foam parties, jumping in the pool competitions, activities for kids, crazy volleyball and many more funny activities. Lots of my friends said this because they remember that gloria was more fun before. I truly hope for next year they will bring this back, it’s not hard to do and adds so much. Otherwise our stay was awesome as always.

We had a wonderful stay at Gloria Hotel! The Ultra All Inclusive concept exceeded all our expectations—the food quality, beverage selection, and overall amenities were top-tier throughout our entire vacation. Our second time at Gloria Verde. We stayed in a deluxe suite on our first visit, and in one of the select villas this time. Accommodation was very good (a little worn in places, but nothing that raised concerns for us); shared pool worked well for the whole family, as well as the Villa bar and Villa restaurant. Staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble, and the AI options are excellent (it was a shame that the AI options no longer extended to Serenity and the Golf resort for Villa guests). Thank you to the Gloria GM, Victoria (villa guest relations) and all the staff for making our stay a relaxed and memorable holiday!

The servicelevel in the main restaurant and Neptune bar was excellent, very attentive and serviceminded. Also the lifeguards were impressive in how they were working and communicating. The cleanliness of the whole premises was impressive and the hotel is very weill organized with an excellent culture. Our only flaws was housekeeping failing to change the rigt amount of towels once and failing to clean the room once also shampoo was lacking. The reception were slow to respond when big towels for shower were missing. We ahd to call four times.
