I feel left out. My kids feel left out. Since we don't speak Turkish, nor German, there is literally no one in the whole resort to speak to. 99prc of the guests are Germans, and whilst it is not a bad thing ( exceptioneel for ALL of the lounges outside being taken by 06:15... (Trust me, I checked!)), it is frustrating and quite limiting. Specially for the kids when they want to join activities at the kids club. Luckily, the resort is in good shape, the slides are fun (this is not a huge watermark... Just 5 good slides), the pools are good, the beach is clean, the fitness Centre is amazing (above expectations), the food is good albeit boring after a few days (No theme nights or specials... Every day is "special", i.e., same same), the room that we had was very very good (family room. Comprising of a double and a twin, 2 bathrooms). I wish I had known about the lack of ethical and national diversity before I booked because it has affected our vacation. Instead of seeing the kids have fun with other kids (8 and 10)and be independent, we had to spend a large part of our time entertaining them, and that's not what you go to an inclusive resort after all. Speaking of all imclusive, beware that Internet costs 20euro per device for 14 days (bring a computer or a wifi to wifi router to share the connection rather than pay per device) Only very basic alcohol is included. All the rest cost min 5 euro Most kids club activities cost min 5euro, even simple sand painting bs Internet is terribly slow. When it connects All prices are in Euro. You can walk 100 meter outside of the hotel to buy things are half price
The hotel is overall ok. But it was like an old people’s home. Most of them were 60+ and for me and my brother (teenagers) was it horrible. Fortunately we were able to change to another after two days. Everybody is talking German there. And for me it wasn’t good because I also wanted to have the English holiday feeling.
I just came back from a holiday there with my family and it was a great experience. The rooms are great! The beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable but it’s not that big of a deal. The food and service was great too! They cant speak English that well so its very hard to communicate if you cant speak Turkish or German. The location of the hotel is Perfect, just a small walk and you’re at the beach, and there are some pools out there, but there is almost to no place of putting your stuff on a bench because they are always taken by other people. But it was just a great holiday, I recommend it!!!
I come here with my son. We played dart and Pool games nights shows and kinder disco lovely. We wannacome back next year with our friands. Dj mustafa. Animation chef emre and Pool bar paplo and witamin bar irem thanks guys
I stayed at this lovely hotel with my 92 year old dad and brother. It has been a long time for us to this. I was worried that dad would not feel comfortable. It was completely the opposite. The hotel was very clean, rooms very comfortable size and open view. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Three course meals served as buffet. Drinks all day long all included in the price. Lots of games and entertainment. Family friendly, diverse guests. We relaxed, had fun and dad made new friends as well. His said" did i die and come to heaven' after watching an amazing energetic Latin American dance show. I am glad i found Hotel Grand Side
