Hotel Royal Adam and Eve

We stayed at this hotel recently and, in terms of the property itself, it’s absolutely stunning. The food was excellent with plenty of choice, the branded drinks were a great touch, and the entertainment was different to anything we’ve experienced before. Our apartment was incredible – especially the swim‑up pool, which really made the stay feel special. However, I want to be completely honest for anyone from the UK considering this hotel. It is not catered for English/British guests at all. Staff rarely speak English, and communication can be difficult. The hotel is geared almost entirely towards Russian and Turkish guests, and unfortunately that really affects the atmosphere. As friendly, polite people, we tried to engage with other guests, but we were ignored, stared at, and made to feel unwelcome. It’s a real shame, because the hotel itself is fantastic and the facilities are genuinely impressive. If you’re looking for a beautiful resort with great food and drink, this place delivers. But if you’re English/British and hoping for a relaxed, friendly environment where you feel included, I honestly wouldn’t recommend it.

I removed stars for neglecting the work the staff of the photo studio. A photo shoot was ordered, as a result of which not a single good photo was taken. Everything was blurry, as if the filter had been applied not the correction, but to the camera. The studio assures that this is normal

Me and my partner came in October of this year, looking forward to our trip as visually the hotel looks gorgeous! Thankfully the rooms are nice, as this is where we spent most of our time due to feeling uncomfortable going anywhere else!! There was such a poor attitude from staff towards us due to being English, there was no other english people there which is not the hotels fault at all but the staff made no effort with us, didn’t serve us drinks at the pool/restaurant but was serving everyone else, at one time we asked 3 times for a glass of wine, the first staff at the bar said it was table service only for wine which is fair, so we asked 2 different floor staff, both who said they would be back to us and never came back. I’m also not sure if some of the staff pretend to not speak English or genuinely cannot speak it as one evening I went to the bar for a Sprite and Coke, whilst at the bar there was a very drunk man trying to touch my waist making me feel uncomfortable, the man serving found this hilarious and took the drunk man’s phone, asking me to give him my number (speaking very good English whilst doing so). The next day I went to the bar and the same bar staff was serving, yet could not understand me when asking for the same Sprite and Coke. Another issue was other hotel guests which is not something that the hotel can help, but they clearly did not like that we were English (they were mainly Russian) and were rude to us throughout our stay, giving us rude looks, pushing us out of the way when waiting for elevators so they could get in first, banging on our room door sometimes at 3am and then running away (these were fully grown adults), all in all making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in a hotel that we had paid to stay in the same as them. We weren’t there looking for trouble, we very much just kept ourselves to ourselves, and for the odd few guests that did speak to us, usually in the elevators saying thank you and goodnight, we were very friendly back. There is a great selection of food, however some things, mainly chicken, definitely was not cooked fully. My partner was ill for the first 3 days, and I ended up getting ill on our last day for around 4 days when I’d got home. Although this could also be as a result of some glasses, plates, cutlery not being cleaned properly as there was multiple times when we were given dirty things and had to swap. The hotel itself is really nice, it’s just a hugely let down by the staff and other guests.

The hotel is poor and only needs renovation. The waitstaff is poor and doesn't speak any foreign languages. The music is techno instead of dance or Latin. Everything is very worn and dirty. On the plus side, there are two good bartenders; the rest is pretty bad. The carpets are dirty, there's mold in the bathrooms, and there are stains on the beds. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very rude service, from the reception desk to the management. The hotel is problematic and uncooperative. Generally, you could spend half your stay at the reception desk due to various situations. The hotel is old, it seems it hasn't been renovated since it was new, and it's clear everywhere that it only needs renovation. It's very damaged, there's mold in the bathrooms, the carpets are stained, and the bedspreads seem to have never been washed. The decor is tacky and dirty. I don't recommend it, but rather go to Rixos in Egypt. parties with club music but more techno with one beat, always the same music which is hard to have fun with, you won't find Latino or dance music there
