Hotel Royal Atlantis Beach

We booked Royal Atlantis Beach Hotel last minute after a different holiday was cancelled and so hadn’t researched fully and weren’t sure what to expect- we were so impressed with the quality when we arrived and spent all week saying how lucky we were that the other holiday was cancelled! We found the rooms to be clean with comfortable beds. A decent sized shower and a small balcony. Rooms had air conditioning and came with a mini fridge (included for free) which was restocked daily with cold drinks (water, Pepsi, fizzy orange and fruit soda plus some cartons of juice) plus tea and coffee making facilities and towels. Rooms were cleaned to a good standard daily! The food was amazing! You could eat 24/7 here. Breakfast was served buffet style with an array of meats, cheeses, fruits, yoghurts, cereals and a selection of hot dishes (frittata, vegetable gratin, potatoes, Turkish sausage, baked eggs, porridges) plus omelettes and fried eggs cooked to order. Pancakes, breads, a toastie maker, Turkish delight and much more. Tea and coffee machines available plus some concentrated fruit juices (freshly squeezed orange juice available for an extra cost!). From 11-4pm pancake type breads were available with either sugar, chocolate or cheese, spinach and potato fillings. Lunch was served buffet style with lots of meats (kebab style, grilled and boiled), whole grilled or fried fish, chips, meat and vegetable stews, grilled veg, kofta, bean or chickpea dishes, vegetable gratins, pizzas and pide, pasta, rice and potatoes, tons of salads, olives, fruits and the biggest selection of cakes and baklava. From 3-4pm ice cream and waffles with toppings were available at the beach bar. And from 3-5.30 you could get burgers and fries (plus sometimes nuggets and onion rings) and some sweet treats like biscuits. Dinner was similar to lunch- buffet style but an even larger selection of dishes. Our family loved the fish and kebab dishes with the children loving the grilled chicken, chips, pizzas and pasta (and lasagne one night!). As a vegetarian I was always able to fill my plate with things like stuffed peppers, chickpea or bean stews and rice, grilled veg, vegetable pizza and pide, chips, spaghetti with napolitan sauce, dolmades, sesame roasted potatoes and lots of salads. They also provide ‘midnight soup’ which was very handy when arriving late from the airport- this was two different flavoured soups, garnishes, bread and a smaller selection of salads and dips and was available all night. Plus a 24 hour patisserie in the lobby bar. All included in the all inclusive. We were early in the season so the à la cartes weren’t fully running but there were some à la carte dishes we could order at the beach bar at lunch. The staff were super friendly and great with the children. The hotel mostly caters for German guests but all had really good English and made us feel very welcome. Being early in the season I don’t think the full animation program was up and running (which suited us well as we prefer a quieter holiday) but there was still plenty to do- we were offered darts games, karaoke and saw poolside exercise classes. There was a mini disco for the children each night plus a different show available (traditional Turkish dancing, belly dancing, band, magic show etc). The pools were beautiful. It being early in April the water was still pretty cold for swimming but that didn’t stop the children! My boy loved the slides and we spent a lot of time on the beach and paddling in the sea. On arrival the adults were given tokens for a free 10 minute massage- two of our party went on to buy full massages which they rated highly! Towel use was included (towels in room changed daily with housekeeping and we were given one token per person and could use this to get towels for pool or beach use- we were able to exchange our towels multiple times a day for clean ones but I think in busier times this may be limited to once per day). Use of the safe in the room was also free and there was free WiFi available throughout our stay. We enjoyed trips into Antalya and on Jeep safaris and a boat trip around Green Canyon. The highlight for us was Side Old Town- very easy to catch a dolmus from the top of the road the hotel is on- 90 Turkish lira or 2 euros per person, into the old town. It’s beautiful to walk around with cute little beaches, nice restaurants and shops (although we were charged a fortune for Turkish delight!). We had a brilliant holiday and can’t thank the staff at the hotel enough! I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return!

Actually I was in this hotel in April 2024. Quality was almost perfect. Major proses are cleanles, wide variety of food and location. Hoewer there were imperefect aspects whiches had impact on our vacation. Firstly me and our family received rooms close to the kitchen, noises disabled us of sleeping. Finally waiters during dinner were insistent.

Perfect location for holiday, the sea is really close and food is awesome, I can recommend 10/10, animation perfect always something to do, service perfectly done

We cannot add anything that we have not already expressed in our November 2024 feedback, again fabulous. Yes we can but with reservations. This report is based again on our REGULAR visits to this hotel, however a new restaurant block is being erected that chops off your views of the sea from the POOL BAR area for another hotel. Yes its that big, wrong move.... Very sorry to have to say however, this will not stop us returning but maybe not quite so often sorry to say so another paradise hotel we will have to discover. We have little reason to change our feedback to anything other than 4star first class staff and we being English minority and respected find this a lovely place for all nationalities.

We really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and shower was reasonable. Almost all the staff were lovely and helpful. The food was excellent with a huge selection and we loved trying out different meals and weren't disappointed. Its a pity the weather was cooler than expected due to a siberian blast but this was an unknown phenomenom in Turkey, however we made the most of our stay and plan to return to enjoy the outside of the hotel as well as the inside.
