We've had an amazing stay at the Royal Dragon Hotel and would definitely recommend it! The rooms were spotless, the food was great with plenty of choice, and all the reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to the incredible animation team Alina Ksusha Pokémon Pikachu Zeki Emrah DJ Demir Appo Liza Serifenur. They made our holiday! They greeted everyone everyday, involved all the guests, and created a fun atmosphere from morning until night. We loved Alina's aqua gym sessions every morning, and the pool foam party with the DJ and dancers was one of the highlights of our holiday! The evening entertainment at the amphitheatre and beach bar was brilliant too, whether it was live music or a DJ, the animation team always had everyone up dancing. Thank you for making our holiday so much fun. We can't wait to come back!

This hotel is the definition of a typical Turkish all-inclusive resort. We visited for the second time in 2026, having first stayed here in 2014. Our first visit was one of the most memorable holidays we’ve ever had in Turkey, so we were really looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, while the hotel has improved in some areas, it felt like it had lost some of what made it so special. Pros The recent renovation has given the hotel a much more modern feel. The rooms are bright, clean and comfortable, with large TVs, excellent air conditioning and very comfortable beds. Housekeeping was good throughout our stay. The food is about what you’d expect at this price point. There is plenty of choice, and while it isn’t the best we’ve had in Turkey, it’s consistently good and most people will find something they enjoy. The beach is lovely, with warm, clear sea water and a beach bar just a short walk away. The main swimming pool is enormous—one of the biggest I’ve seen in Turkey—and is always a pleasant temperature. There are a few water slides which are fun, although fairly standard compared to many other Turkish resorts. The evening entertainment in the amphitheatre was enjoyable. Again, nothing groundbreaking, but solid performances that most guests will appreciate. Another big positive is the location. The hotel is only around 60 km from Antalya Airport, meaning transfers typically take 45–60 minutes, depending on traffic and the number of hotel drop-offs, which is much better than many resorts further along the coast. Cons The biggest disappointment was paying £150 extra for a sea view. We were allocated a second-floor room overlooking the pool, where the “sea view” consisted of tiny glimpses of blue through the trees. It certainly wasn’t worth the additional cost, and I’d save your money unless you’re guaranteed a higher floor. Another major downside is that the hotel is no longer partnered with the neighbouring Royal Taj Mahal. I’m not sure when this changed, but it makes a noticeable difference. Previously, guests had access to the neighbouring pools, water park and facilities, making the whole complex feel much larger with far more variety throughout the week. Although this hotel has now built its own on-site water park, it still doesn’t replace everything that has been lost. The famous pool parties are gone, and those were always one of the highlights of our previous stay. Having something exciting to look forward to every few days really added to the holiday atmosphere. One thing worth mentioning is illness. On both visits—2014 and again in 2026—we became unwell around day six. That could simply be bad luck, but it’s an odd coincidence. With so many families and young children using the facilities, along with the warm pool temperatures, it’s something worth being aware of. That said, I actually loved how warm the pool was, as I’m usually someone who hates the freezing shock of getting into a swimming pool. Overall, this is a good hotel, but it no longer feels exceptional. It does everything reasonably well without really standing out from the competition. For the money, I think it’s fair value, but I never felt like I was getting anything extra compared with similarly priced resorts. If your budget can stretch a little further, I’d personally consider hotels that offer more memorable experiences—things like drone shows, roller-skating waiters serving drinks around the pool, larger water parks, pool parties, jet-pack shows, premium branded drinks and food, and better sea views. Hotels such as the Delphin BE Grand offer more of those “wow” moments that make a holiday feel truly special.
