Hotel Royal Dragon

Fantastic hotel with very friendly service and staff, lots of choice with excellent food and drinks, highly recommend this hotel for a great couple and family holiday

The hotel is large and very clean throughout. The large pool is fantastic with a lovely stretch of beach. Slides were great also. Staff works very hard, however reception was the least helpful. Food was so so and repetitive. Overall it was a good stay with plenty of opportunity to relax as well as shop.

If you only speak English this is NOT the holiday for you. 99.9% of guests were Dutch, German, Russian and Turkish. The hotel was beautiful and our room was a fair size for a family of 3. Plenty of pools but the usual sun bed hogging you get everywhere so had to go to the beach if we wanted one. A mixture of many local foods in the restaurant. If you’re a fussy eater this hotel is again NOT for you.

We stayed at Royal Dragon Hotel from June 21 to June 29 as a family of three – my husband, our adult son, and me. This was already our fifth visit to Royal Dragon over the past 12 years, which probably says a lot about how much we like this hotel. Our holiday started on a very positive note. We arrived at approximately 11:30 a.m., and our room was already prepared for us. I had informed the hotel in advance about our expected arrival time, so having the room ready so early was a very pleasant bonus and greatly appreciated. We stayed in a comfortable room on the 5th floor with a side sea view, and we were very happy with it. The room itself was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The food in the main restaurant was excellent, as always. This has always been one of Royal Dragon’s strongest points for us. There was a very good variety of dishes, the food was tasty and beautifully presented, and everyone could easily find something to their liking. Overall, the service in the restaurant was good. To be fair, there were some waiters who seemed to perform their duties rather formally, without much enthusiasm or personal attention. However, there were also several truly wonderful members of staff who deserve a 5+ rating. Their friendliness, attention and professionalism made our meals especially enjoyable, and employees like these are one of the reasons why guests want to return to the hotel. The same can be said about the bartenders at the pool bars. Some of them were absolutely fantastic – friendly, welcoming and professional – while unfortunately there were also a few whom we did not really feel like approaching for a second drink. Nevertheless, the positive experiences clearly outweighed the negative ones. We were also lucky that during our stay the hotel was not completely full. Because of this, it was always possible to find available sunbeds both around the swimming pools and on the beach, without having to rush early in the morning. Unfortunately, we were less lucky with the housekeeping of our room. The cleaning was rather average, and there were also a few unpleasant situations connected with it. However, I would like to give credit to the hotel management: when we contacted them and explained the problem, they reacted appropriately and the issue was resolved. We really appreciated the way our complaint was handled. For me personally, the biggest advantages of Royal Dragon remain the same: delicious and varied food, the wonderful long swimming pool, and the beautiful sandy beach with a gentle and comfortable entrance into the sea. These are the things that make this hotel special for our family. After five visits, the obvious question is: would we come back again? Absolutely, yes. Despite a few minor issues, Royal Dragon remains a hotel where we feel comfortable and where we have many wonderful memories. We sincerely hope that our fifth stay will not be our last, and we look forward to returning again in the future.

We've had an amazing stay at the Royal Dragon Hotel and would definitely recommend it! The rooms were spotless, the food was great with plenty of choice, and all the reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. A special shout-out to the incredible animation team Alina Ksusha Pokémon Pikachu Zeki Emrah DJ Demir Appo Liza Serifenur. They made our holiday! They greeted everyone everyday, involved all the guests, and created a fun atmosphere from morning until night. We loved Alina's aqua gym sessions every morning, and the pool foam party with the DJ and dancers was one of the highlights of our holiday! The evening entertainment at the amphitheatre and beach bar was brilliant too, whether it was live music or a DJ, the animation team always had everyone up dancing. Thank you for making our holiday so much fun. We can't wait to come back!
