Hotel Side Star Elegance

We found this hotel 4 years ago by walking along the promenade as we used to stay in one not far away so we knew the area. It’s set on a beautiful part of the med with a walkway between the hotels and the sea. This hotel is set on a hill so lots of steps but plenty of lifts including a small funicular railway if you can’t manage the steps. It has a great choice of bars and a 24 hour one which does proper late food if you have a later flight. Very welcoming. The bar is run by an amazing chap called Atakan and he whizzes round doing cocktails & drinks at a hell of a speed. He’s very impressive. The drinks are free flowing including premium spirits. There is table service for drinks too which is great. Theres a good choice of à la cartes (you get 3 per week) but you have to get to the customer services early to get booked in. There is also an alley of food shacks with gorgeous baked potatoes and pizzas. There is also great choice of fresh salads every day in all restaurants. The entertainment team are really great fun. All the usual activities which they sort with a friendly smile. There’s a good selection of rooms. We have upgraded to a family room and it’s a great size with sea views. Highly recommend this place.

Just got back as a family of 11 with 3 under 2s hotel is amazing staff fabulous food gorgeous drinks fabulous lovely stroll on beachfront to side old town beach lovely now my let down entertainment very poor and kids activity very poor thus is more an adults hotel with kids as an afterthought really enjoyed my 10 days but wouldn't go back as a family holiday

Hotel is really clean, but is a large hotel so takes a few days to get your bearings. The negatives are that the all the staff speak German, Danish fluently, so if you speak English there is definitely a barrier which I’ve never experienced before in turkey. Even if the staff acknowledge you are English they then continue to speak in German. Food is lovely but the main dining restaurant is busy most of the time and people seem to forget their manners, lots of pushing to get in front of you. Fridges around the pool are always replenished with branded drinks and lots of ice cream choices. Lifts are small so during busy times if you are not able bodied to use the stairs the wait time is quite long. Check out is 12 noon, we had a one year old with us and wanted to extend the room as our flight was late, the process to do this was quite long winded and even though we paid 60 euros it did feel like they were doing us a favour - receptionist weren’t the friendliest. I wouldn’t come again but if you like a big busy hotel with good food then it might be what you want, but if you want more of a personal touch hotel then this isn’t for you.

This was are 7th time at this hotel and we have just booked again for June 27, so its obvious thst we love ❤️ it. We always book a swimup room. They are in the sun all day and are perfect. The hotel has 10 different places to eat and the food is great. The staff work so hard to make sure everything is perfect. They are so friendly and helpful, you couldnt ssk for more. There is entertainment on every night. We have tried different hotels but non of them have everything this hotel has. Every time we arrive its like the stress just melts away and it feels like a home from home. We always look forward to going back knowing it has everything we want. We are already counting down to June 27.

We come to this hotel every year and we love it. The food is good and lots of choice. We upgraded to a suite and it’s really roomy. The animation team are really great too and especially Victoria who does great exercises around the pool. Everyone is really happy and enthusiastic. We highly recommend this hotel. It’s lively but there are quiet areas too. The cats are brilliant who patrol around and are so friendly.
