Kaya Belek

Rooms were dingy and lighting was poor. Bathroom was dim and the extraction did not work. Shower leaked. Towels threadbare. Pillows poor as we had to ask for more pillows. Bedding didn’t fit correctly and the mattress was very uncomfortable. We did move rooms which was marginally better due to the bigger balcony. The laminate floor was lifting. Hotel is very tired looking and is dated. The majority of the staff were miserable and in some instances rude. The noise levels were horrific due to alcohol consumption and they were far too many male groups. There was a massive language barrier with the majority of staff and the food quality was poor especially for the evening meal in the main restaurant. Hand rails on stairways were wobbly and dangerous. There were many broken floor tiles around the pool area and the paint work was chipping off. Sun loungers were broken and the cushions were dirty and didn’t fit properly. The parasols were extremely hard to put up and some were broken. The cleanliness around the pool area was poor as no one swept or hosed down around the sun beds. The bins were filthy. There was a threshold the you walked on to enter the pool area from Restaurant level 0 and this is a massive trip hazard as the metal part has lifted and has come away. Restaurant staff being watched constantly by management. There was no greeting in the restaurant from the managers that were standing at entrance and the staff were not very attentive or in some cases not interested due to poor management. There is only one toaster for the whole restaurant and the control settings were broken. The ladies toilets around the hotel were not that clean. After visiting the hotel twice in 2019 we were expecting a similar experience, which is why we went back. How wrong were we……. We would never visit this hotel again.

This is not a 5 star hotel! Possibly 2 at best! Stayed for a golf holiday and will never go back! Rooms full of mould, damp, damage and peeling wallpaper, ONE beer selection in the whole resort and that was a local draft beer which was sometimes un drinkable depending on which bar you went to! The”Irish” bar is a dark 1970’s style room with a couple of sofas and no working bar and one tv that had no English channels. The food was poor to average at best and gave a few of our party the Brad pitts causing them to miss an expensive round of golf and having to dispose of an equally expensive pair of underwear! If you’re looking for a golf holiday in Belek I really recommend you avoid this hotel how any company can sell this as 5 star is beyond me and should be forced to stay for a week the selves!

2nd stay this year. Excellent hotel, beach front location with plenty of sunbeds around the pool, on the beach and grassed areas . Animation Team are great. The food in all the restaurants is plentiful. The cocktail’s are the best I have had in any all inclusive hotel. Thank you again Derya for your superb cocktail making skills and thank you to the lovely Jasmine for looking after us so well. Whilst the rooms may be a little tired they are very clean and have everything in them required for a pleasant stay . Thank you to Anna on reception for your assistance. I would highly recommend this hotel 😊

It’s the second year running we have stayed at Kaya Belek in September. We got back yesterday and have on the whole enjoyed it. I must say though that the hotel is very tired You can tell even in the space of a year. We don’t normally go back to the same place twice, but in 2025 had a brilliant time. This year they were just a few grumbles the staff serving are brilliant. I understand the hotel is being shut in December for a long period of time, which hopefully will definitely benefit it. We do love Belek for the Golf and will be back in a few years, but we will try somewhere else next time. The gripes we had menu is the same virtually every night in the restaurant and the cleaners didn’t really clean the hotel rooms adequately. We don’t spend long in the bedrooms but that’s not the point.
