Lara Barut Collection

We have just returned from a fabulous week at Lara Barut. This resort really have thought of everything, from hair straighteners, quality shampoo and conditioner, pillow menu, QR codes everywhere for drink and menus to both the rain shower and hand shower working at the same time (if you know what I’m talking about you’ll appreciate this is unknown of). The whole resort is absolutely spotless. Rooms: we had a family deluxe room one hallway to two rooms… fantastic! Our rooms were immaculate and little treats were left throughout. Even had a lovely bottle of bubbly and treats for our pearl wedding anniversary. The beds are so comfy too. Food: We have travelled a lot and the food throughout was second to none. The buffet was our favourite the quality was the best 5 star AI we have ever seen and tasted. The selection was big but not overwhelming and the quality of all of it was consistently excellent with the waiters and waitresses working extremely hard keeping the restaurant running spotlessly and efficiently. Guest Relations: All of our communications with guest relations from before the holiday up until after the holiday were fabulous and sorted any requests we had effortlessly even giving us suggestions and allowing us to prebook for a special occasion. I can’t remember all the names but thank you to you all. Pools/beach: The pools were never full and sunbeds always available (beach beds were busy). There is a great water park with some awesome slides free on site. The sea was warmer than the pools you could just walk straight in. Lifeguards on duty everywhere. QR codes on sunbeds and tables everywhere to order although service was so good hardly used them. Entertainment: This resort tops it all…the DJ at Meltum bar blew us away with amazing music, the loveliest entertainment team members and dancers, our granddaughters loved this night. Then to top it off they had an Octoberfest which was the best organised and set out night. Big round of applause to the entertainment team and the first class singers that night they absolutely smashed it and kept people dancing all night! I am so sorry that I can’t remember the entertainment teams names but you guys are awesome!!! Beach treat: We rented a pavilion for two days and we all enjoyed the VIP treatment feeling. Excursions: We went to the Old Town and Land of Legends (day pass and sunset pass) , spent an evening at the mall (great places to visit) taxis were 60€ return to Land of Legends and 70€ to old town and marina. We also walked out the restaurant Ty turned right and went shopping with many shops, bazaar and mall within 10 minutes walk We are already planning on going back they have mastered the art of hospitality ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful family stay in the main hotel. The room was spacious, spotless and cleaned daily, with plenty of storage for 2 adults and a child. Lovely touch having the minibar, treats and coffee pods restocked daily. Grounds were immaculate and lovely to walk around. All staff were friendly, professional and so kind when our little boy was unwell — we really appreciated it. Food was excellent — beautiful meals in the à la carte restaurants and lots of tasty choice in the buffet. Drinks were great and beautifully presented. Loved the afternoon music at the beach bar and the beach pavilion was a highlight — so relaxing and comfortable, would highly recommend it. Our son loved kids club — lots of activities on offer and a really friendly team. Only downside was the pool water was very cold for most of our stay, which was a shame, but heating was on for our last day and we enjoyed a lovely rainy morning in the pool. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

This hotel is fantastic so we have visited it many times and had hoped to continue our visits. The rooms are excellent,spotlessly clean. The grounds are well maintained and again spotlessly clean as are all the toilets dotted around. ALL the staff are wonderful,but much busier this year than previous years so not always available to chat and make friends. The food in all venues is of very high quality and with huge choices,the à la cartes were far more difficult to get hold of and also stressful to try and book. Never been a problem in the past. There are many of us that have become good friends from the Netherlands,Germany as well as the uk as we meet at the same time. This year has NOT been the same experience and we are all questioning our faith in the hotel to provide us with a fully relaxing holiday. I have worked with children all my working life as well as rearing 2 highly successful sons. When I holiday it’s to get rest and relaxation!!! The hotel has concentrated on families and children. There are many areas for babies,toddlers,children and teenagers BUT NOWHERE for just adults. I couldn’t hear my partner at lunch due to screaming crying toddlers,tripping over baby buggies. Nowhere to have a quiet drink on the terrace bar, lifts full of baby buggies. Nowhere to relax and have a quiet swim. There was a lot of disquiet from many of us regular clients. The management needs to provide ADULTS only areas to relax and also have the deep pool for children over a certain age. There are 2 areas with graduated entry for younger ages. The hotel is striving to be top notch but ignoring adult couples and older retired adults will not enhance its status but drive us away. It has saddened me to make these comments as it is our favourite hotel.

Overall we had a lovely family holiday. The quality of the food and drinks was very high and the resort was beautifully maintained. All the staff were so friendly and the service was always excellent. Unfortunately I would not return due to the temperature of the swimming pools. My baby was unable to stay in the water for more than 2 minutes as she was shivering. It was a shame that a holiday that should be based round being at a pool was not possible. Other minor negatives are that the wifi is poor throughout the hotel and always cuts out and the toiletries are a shampoo/body wash.
