Lara Barut Collection

This was our 4th visit to the Barut Lara although our first since 2017. We had a room in the Tower and our daughter had a lagoon room. There was very little difference between the two and both were excellent with every amenity you could want from a first class hotel room. Fridge stocked daily, beds changed daily if you wanted, we went for every 2nd day. One thing i would mention that the showers while being good and very spacious, were a one button affair, off & on, and we have could have done with a touch more pressure. There was a waterfall and a hand held which was on a fixed point aimed at just below your waist - that should be on a riser, not every body want to get their hair wet every shower, I dont mind but I’m sure ladies will have their own opinion. The staff were brilliant, always with a smile and no problem was too much for them, we had a couple of issues with our air con which were resolved very promptly indeed. The food in both the buffet and à la carte could not be faulted. One comment I would make is that their “fine dining” a al carte, The Akdeniz, while being excellent food wise the first time we were there it was like a kindergarten with one woman pushing a buggy round her family table for the whole meal trying to keep a young infant quiet, unsuccessfully. With the number of à la carte available to the hotel I really think their ‘Fine Dining” experience should be adults only. The Lagoon area which was totally upgraded since our visit in 2017 was also pretty good but with swim up rooms at a fairly hefty premium, having pretty cold water to swim in is not what you want, it really should be heated. All in all we had a great holiday and its easy to see why the Lara Barut Collection is at the top of the rankings

We had an amazing week at Lara Barut. Couldn’t fault the hotel. Perfect for a family vacation. Loads of variety of places to eat and the food is fantastic. Lovely pools and landscaping. Everywhere very clean and tidy. Everyone who works there is so lovely and friendly.

Upon arrival we were greeted with cucumber drink refreshments. The doorman brought up our luggage upon checking into our room. The room had an ok view as it was only 2nd flr up. The spa was wonderful we enjoyed our time spent there. The beach and beach bar were nice and fairly busy for off season. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian, mostly because of the staff there truly went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. The manager and waiter both named Okan were fabulous. The reservation team also worked magic for us and provided last minute availability in the Sushi restaurant. The only true complaint is the reservation system required to eat in the ala carte restaurants. The system is overloaded doesn’t work well and is booked up when you get the sites to load. Again the reservation team assisted and was great. Overall 4/5 stars and provided some great memories for our wedding anniversary.

I had an incredible experience with the Tibetan and Japanese massages performed by Latif at Lara Barut. The experience went far beyond my expectations! Lovely hotel , great rooms. Staff are so friendly. So much to do for children. Our favourite restaurant was pizzeria Di Laura , food was excellent. Hotel is spotless. Highly recommend this hotel
