Just on our last day of our holiday We have had a lovely time. June hasn’t been as hot as we like but we’ve still had a wonderful time. The guys at the water sports gave us a lovely couple of days out would highly recommend the waterfall boat trip. Round the pool the entertainment can be a little loud but that’s personal opinion. Guest relations we found a little rude when we went to book our à la carte, we had the Turkish à la carte and the food was beautiful. Was not happy with Diana who does the fitness at the pool who singled out our daughter from aqua aerobics saying no children but then allowed other children to stay in her class and when I confronted her about this she said she couldn’t speak English even though she did the whole session in English. A big special thank you to Arif our waiter for your table service you were very attentive and polite. Ramazan for your service by the pool. This hotel isn’t a 5star by any means it is looking tired and the details just aren’t quite there, but we had a lovely time still.

Having been to Turkey last year and stayed in a 5* hotel, I expected that Limak would live up to the standards expected. Although it wasn’t terrible, it was exactly great. Room 1811 did not have functioning air con. When we questioned guest services about this, we were told that the air con only comes on 3 times a day, morning, afternoon and evening and will not work outwith the times which were scribbled down on a piece of paper - provided by guest relations! We were holidaying and also celebrating my birthday. A booking was made at the Italian restaurant which I can only describe as awful. The service was very poor, rushed and the food was terrible. I actually left half way through the meal and the cake which was suppose to come out as a surprise didn’t arrive at all. We were compensated by going to the Turkish restaurant which was lovely. The staff were so friendly and the band which were playing surprised me by singing happy birthday while coming to our table, although this was 2 days after my birthday. The house keeping were lovely, rooms always cleaned and fresh towels provided. The indoor pool was closed the whole time we were there - 11 days, which was very frustrating as the adults only pool area was still overcrowded by screaming little brats, with parents who obviously couldn’t be bothered to control their off spring! The Spa was great, we went for 2 treatments each. In all I wouldn’t return to this hotel. I also wouldn’t call it 5*. More like 4* with temperamental air con! The food was good in the buffet area, although a lot of the English had no manners at all and often thought they were able to walk through other guests!

When we arrived at the hotel, we were allocated Room 2217, which was not fit for occupation. The air conditioning was faulty and blew hot air, and there were broken wooden tiles around the hot tub area creating a safety hazard. Although we were eventually moved, the replacement room was also unsuitable. My children had to sleep on sofa beds instead of proper beds, and one of the beds was damaged and noticeably slanted. Housekeeping standards were poor throughout our stay. On several occasions the room was not properly cleaned, with staff simply making the bed and leaving towels without carrying out a full service. I repeatedly had to raise concerns with Guest Relations. Guest Relations offered us a complimentary reservation at the Oriental à la carte restaurant, but this was also disappointing. We were served sushi that appeared stale, which upset both my children and caused me stomach discomfort the following day. Service was extremely slow and, after waiting more than 25 minutes for desserts, we left without receiving them. The most upsetting incident occurred in the main dining hall. As a disabled guest, I was seated at an accessible table with my family. While I briefly left to collect food, my 11-year-old son was told to leave the table because he was “not disabled”. He was visibly upset and confused by this treatment, which I consider discriminatory and unacceptable. When we reported the incident, the dining hall manager was dismissive and stated that staff could not identify disabled guests unless they had visible disabilities such as a wheelchair or walking aid. When I challenged this, he became aggressive and approached me in an intimidating manner. Guest Relations staff had to intervene and call additional staff to calm the situation. I felt threatened, unsafe and deeply uncomfortable. Food quality and availability throughout the holiday were consistently poor, with many items unavailable despite attending the restaurant within the advertised serving times. Overall an unsuitable accommodation, poor housekeeping, food quality concerns, discriminatory treatment and aggressive behaviour from management caused significant distress, anxiety and disappointment for my family.

There is nothing that I could really moan about. We went as a family of 6 with 4 children under 10. They had a main restaurant, and snack bars, an ice cream hut which only opened certain times in the day, but you could get them from the main restaurant when opened. The rooms where clean and tidy - air con worked. Some days i thought the entertainments could have been better with more energy but it was ok, 2night were good with Michael Jackson tribute and gymnasts on skates. There were plenty of things to do in the kids clubs and enough for adult, darts with Arykan( lovely fella ) Lots of slides and different pools. The children had a foam party one day We hired the pavilions on our last day which was €99 If you go here I would suggest taking your floats with you as we paid about £30/40 for a float and they are similar outside too. We did the parasailing from the guys on the beach and they had a drone that recorded you (nice touch) although a little pricey.

I came to this hotel for a break and relaxation. When i first arrived the hotel looked nice but didnt really match the pictures. The room we was given was on the 3rd floor down a long corridoor and air conditioning was tempremental and sometimes blew hot air even when on the coolest setting. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Sleeping wasnt a problem at all apart from when i was rather hot. The resort is so big that i struggled walking around and there is quite alot of bridges hills and slopes that were very steep for someone with mobilty problems. I asked about getting a mobility scooter that i would pay for but was dismissed many times amd told "no not here" Leaving the hotel by foot is terrible if you can not walk far or up massive hills as the hotel is on top of a hill. There is no personal experience with the hotel as you are nothing but a number and staff wasnt very helpful ond friendly. The staff were laughing at me and talking about me when i was eating in the beach side resturant. I was so embarrased and anxious after that. This carried on in the inside resturant and happened more than 3 times over 10 days. I have never felt so judged in all my life. One of the amimation team was rude to my mum who simply asked a question about a game of volley ball and was abrupt and rude. The staff overall wasnt helpful and didnt seem like they had any desire to ensure you was having a good time. Entertainment was average. Nothing special considering the 5* rating. The entertainment team cant physically make everyone feel welcome or talk to everyone as tbere is far to many people. There was one of the entertainment team who helped me look for my lost phone and was kind. The food was the same everyday in all resturants on a whole with a couple of different dishes daily but mainly stews, casseroles and broths. We asked for.plaim pasta for our one year old and was told no even though it was being cooked for dishes anyway. If you have fuasy children or family members they will struggle for long periods. Also baby food jars are avalible. The meat such as lamb shish, and chicken wings were put out once then replaced with donner meat or roast chicken after the 1st batch was gone so if you got it consider yourself lucky. Breakfast had no baked beans or mushrooms which ive never experienced in turkey especially a 5* The facilities were over crowded at times and the childrens pools were very busy. There was arguments around the pool and lots of noise. The sunbeds are very low and hard to get on and off. We hired a cabanna and was not aware that anyone can actually use the sunbeds at the side of it and you can actually use the imside of the cabanma privatly. When we questioned it we was dismissed and was called names by staff. The lifts broke leaving me to wait 26 minutes for the only one that was working to be empty and stop at my floor. If the other lifts broke i would of not been able to get to my room until they was fixed. Ive been to turkey over 20 times in my life and i have never had such an awful experience mainly staff and size of the hotel.
