Super nice Yoga Session with Ekin 👍 And such a nice Hotel

We are currently enjoying our holiday at LUSSO Sorgun and are very happy with our stay. We would especially like to thank Atilla, whose warm and attentive nature plays a big part in making us feel so comfortable and welcome. Atilla is an incredibly friendly, helpful, and dedicated staff member. He always has a smile on his face, is consistently attentive, and takes great care in looking after the needs of the guests. He is always warm, polite, and professional. What impresses us most is that his kindness feels completely genuine and comes from the heart. You can truly tell that he cares about his work and the happiness and satisfaction of the guests. LUSSO Sorgun should be very proud to have such an exceptional person on its team. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The building is grand and brand new, and the facilities are good, if a little dystopian in feel. The beach is lovely, and we never had any trouble finding five sunbeds together. Our swim-up room was spacious and great overall, although some of the charging points already didn’t work. The shower was frustrating: we struggled to get the temperature right, and once we did, it would suddenly change to either scalding hot or freezing cold. There was always somewhere open to eat. The coffee shop, beach bar and pide counter were all good, and the à la carte restaurants need to be booked. We particularly enjoyed the Italian, where the staff were excellent. The buffet was a real disappointment, though perhaps we weren’t the target market. Dishes such as tripe soup, chicken porridge and various stewed meats weren’t to our taste. If you have specific dietary requirements, the choices seemed limited to things like boiled chicken, beef, rice and quinoa, often sitting in their cooking water and looking rather unappetising. We struggled to find much that appealed, even at breakfast. We also regularly noticed flies around the desserts and fruit. The 24-hour restaurant sounds like a good idea, but we found it rather odd. For us, the biggest issue was the service. The hotel encourages guests to order food and drinks using QR codes, but they often didn’t work well, and the menus and website they led to weren’t easy to use. Service was inconsistent: orders sometimes didn’t arrive, and when we asked about them, staff often seemed unsure what we meant. Outside the Italian restaurant, we also found communication difficult because of a significant language barrier. When we asked reception for a recommendation for a local restaurant, we were simply told to use Google. Overall, the hotel has beautiful surroundings, a lovely beach and some excellent facilities, but the lack of attentive service and atmosphere made the stay feel surprisingly lonely. With better communication and more reliable service, it could be a much more enjoyable experience.
