Ma Biche Kemer

This was our third summer holiday in the Kemer area, and we stayed at this hotel from 6 to 17 September. I can confirm that this is a very good, family-friendly hotel with excellent service and wonderful staff. Special thanks go to the beach bartenders, Can Berk and Emir. We really enjoyed the cocktails they prepared for us, and they did a fantastic job. Yaren, our waitress, was a real gem. They were all friendly, always happy to have a little chat with us, and seemed to really appreciate the few Turkish words I tried to use. When it comes to the spa and wellness facilities, I can highly recommend Oksana Aisha for a relaxing massage. I had five massages during our stay, and she did an excellent job every time. Our room was spotlessly clean. The cleaning staff never asked for or expected a tip, but we were happy to tip them several times because of their good work. The only thing that really needs improvement is the bathtub and shower, which are quite outdated and could use renovation. The water pressure on the fourth floor was usually quite low and sometimes barely sufficient for taking a shower. Honestly, though, this did not spoil our overall very positive impression of the hotel. The animation team was very good and child-friendly, and we really appreciated their attention and assistance. Our four-year-old son enjoyed every single moment. The food was very tasty and varied, as we have come to expect from Werde hotels. The beach is nice, with dark sand and pebbles, although it is rather small and can feel crowded because of the number of sunbeds and umbrellas. The sea was wonderfully warm, around 27–28°C, which was perfect for our four-year-old. Overall, we had another very enjoyable family holiday in Kemer. The excellent staff, good food, warm sea, and friendly atmosphere easily outweighed the few minor issues. We would be happy to come back.

Hotel Ma Biche Kemer is situated right by the beach, directly at the foot of the Taurus Mountains, surrounded by lush greenery. The hotel grounds are home to many cats, rabbits, and guinea fowl. The beach is a mix of sand and gravel, and the seabed is rocky, so water shoes make entering the sea easier. The hotel is quite worn and in need of renovation; its glory days are long past compared to the service standards of other 5-star hotels. Facilities include a restaurant, a lobby bar, and a snack bar. The hotel is well-prepared to welcome Russian guests, and the staff includes Russian speakers. A significant number of guests are French. The Turkish staff are very friendly, polite, and speak English. The bartenders in the lobby and snack bar are very courteous and happy to chat with guests in their native languages. They have a great memory for guests' drink preferences and create a very pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the drinks served is truly 5-star. A major asset of the hotel is the restaurant, which offers themed nights and delicious food; the service there is efficient and polite. The entertainment is unobtrusive and tasteful, and the lifeguards are attentive. Our stay was very comfortable. There were plenty of sun loungers, and the pool area was rarely crowded, as most guests preferred the beach. There was a notable number of older guests. We had a wonderful holiday. We left Ma Biche happy, even though we went with low expectations. Everything was excellent, from reception to the restaurant staff. I’ve never seen this much variety of meat, chicken, and fish at any other hotel. Nothing was lacking in quality either. The hotel doesn’t have particularly large or modern rooms, but the service, the food, and the staff’s warm smiles make up for everything. We had trouble finding sunbeds on the beach in the mornings since they filled up quickly, but Mehmet Can, always smiling, brought us one every time we asked. We left very happy and want to thank all the staff.

Location- Wasn’t very commercialised however we didn’t mind that. Was a 15 min walk to the closest market. And a 15 min bus to Kemer market on the shuttle bus which arrives every 15 mins out the front of the hotel. Atmosphere- Great, everyone was very nice.we were one of few English speaking families but that didn’t mean we were treated any less. Rooms- Clean and spacious and a free mini bar which was filled every day with different choices of drinks. Value- Good value for money, didn’t have to pay for anything except the spa and the shop which was quite pricey however the purchases weren’t essential. Noise level- Rooms were completely sound proof, our door slammed a few times by accident so thought we would be able to hear others however there was no noise whatsoever and we couldn’t hear the evening entertainment either. Staff- Staff were great especially the restaurant manager Kabu I believe his name was. The week 21/08-28/08 in particular. He always made sure we were seated and brought us our drink which was completely unnecessary but very generous. Animals- there were budgies in the restaurant which were in a tiny cage and had children poking them to the point where they got placed on top of the water fridge. They need more space because with three of them in the tiny cage it is cruel. Also there were lots of cats and bunnies around the hotel and we saw some mistreatment of both animals. We understand that they don’t treat animals the same as we do in England however it was completely unnecessary and unacceptable.
