Melas Resort Hotel

It was our first time here, we enjoyed it. The service, cleanliness, the food and so on. You can always find something to spend you time. They have different program for each night. I like the way Entertainers include us without being pushy. Definitely loved it!

I’ll start with the few good things about this hotel. The rooms are lovely, aircon worked great, shower was powerful and spacious. Selma who works at the spa is incredible and a true professional - one of the best massages I have had. The main issues are: the pool area is just not nice. It wasn’t dirty but it just didn’t look nice and there were not many sunbeds at all (all taken by 8am) so we never got a sunbed by the pool for our whole stay. The buffet is just dire. Nothing is labelled so you don’t know what you’re eating and there was a very limited selection. We refused to eat at the hotel unfortunately and ate out every night. Some of the hotel has been redone and modernised (in a very grey, soulless kind of way) whereas some areas are from the 80s with floral upholstery. Very strange place.

The hotel is located right at the seaside, having its own sandy beach. Water is crystal clear, and there are always enough sunbeds and umbrellas available. Being a couple we really appreciated the separated little 18+ area on the beach, so that the running around children are not directly yelling next to us. The hotel also has one big pool, great for swimming, never too crowded. There is also a neighboor hotel that has a small water-park, and can be used for the guests staying in Melas Resort. The property is huge, it takes quite a while to explore everything. We have even found a new-to-us beach bar (where they serve kebabs) after 2 days! The restaurants are great, food variety and quality is excellent, I especially loved the snacks that are available from around lunchtime. The services are also good, and the hotel has plenty of staff to help you any time you need. They are really nice people, working hard to keep the hotel clean, foods tasty and guests satisfied all the time. Our room was also very good, facing partially to the sea - but this might be even better than the full sea view rooms, as it is quite cool during the afternoon (which might be a relief after the hot beach). It is hard to say any negative, even some minor ones, but probably for future improvement is around elevators - they are a bit slow and hot during the day (being a tall builidn, you will use elevators going up and down the beach and restaurants for sure). It might be also a nice touch to provide some small bags for the beach towels, so that guests would not need to carry their own there (this is done at some other hotels already). We spent 5 days in this resort with my wife, and we both loved it!

A great experience, ITS my fifth time, and gets better every time. Thanks for all the staff dir wonderful welcoming. Fresh rooms, delicious food, the personel all have much Respekt and trustworhty. Animation Team does have fun Activities and evening Shows. Thus Hotel is Out First choice every year. Definitely recommended. I wanna thank for whole staff for their outstanding work
