Mukarnas Spa Resort

Location: Lovely location and we spent 60 euro each way on private hire taxi booked in advance with Aircon. About 1.5 hours from airport. Stoney beach so bring beach shoes if you don't want to walk on stones. Beautiful. Buzzing atmosphere in July. Quite a lot of hustle and bustle in the resteraunt and by the poolside. We watched 2 sunbed wars happening over the week. Not the hotels fault - just some tourists being rude to each other. Beach is chill and more space to chill. Pool is packed in July. I've been before in May and June and much more enjoyable for me then :) Rooms are stunning and housekeepers are fantastic 10/10. Aircon is beautiful. Beds are comfy. We booked as a couple and had a king-size bed, a single and a pull down bed in the room when we arrived and I wondered if that's because it's so busy and there wasn't time to take the other bed out ? It was taken out the next day. Great value for money. Thank you Mukarnus. Noise level is fine. Louder poolside. More chill beach. Noise quietens after 11pm. Obviously in July it is school holidays so we heard lots of children screaming in the evenings ( not a problem for us but if it would bother you book when it isn't school holidays). Service was fine in July. Cleaners 10/10. Emir who hosts BBQ 10/10. Main restraunt - Breakfast 7/10 for staff being attentive. Lunch 7/10 for staff being attentive. Dinner 4/10 for staff being attentive. The staff general effort though 10/10 as they were so busy. I shouldn't have sat my whole meal without being greeted or asked if I required water over dinner. Food in resteraunt 10/10. The children who were working as waiters and cleaners 10/10 - service with a smile and they were more and more confident everyday. I think we will return again - it will be my fourth time. However I would prioritise my visit in April, May and June time as this suits my preference for busyness ☺️ A side note - it is wonderful hospitality overall. I can only imagine all the effort that goes into creating the unique experiences that are provided.

The hotel have gone above and beyond for our family holiday, great hotel and staff.

We stayed for 10 nights at the end of June into early July, travelling as a family of three with two nearly-teenage children, and I can honestly say this is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we stepped off the airport transfer, the service was exceptional. We were greeted with warm smiles, our luggage was taken for us, and every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Despite there being very few English guests during our stay, every member of staff made a real effort to communicate in English, which made us feel comfortable from day one. We were also offered a room upgrade at a fantastic price, which made our holiday even more special. The entertainment team deserves a special mention because they truly made our holiday unforgettable. Every single one of them was amazing, but Umet, Ozzy, and the lovely lady everyone knew as “Crazy Girl” were absolutely outstanding. Their energy, enthusiasm and interaction with guests were second to none. From 10am until 5pm every day there were activities for everyone, including children, adults and families. There were pool games, beach volleyball, football, basketball, yoga, belly dancing, gym sessions and so much more. There was always something happening, and they made sure everyone felt included without ever being pushy. The evening entertainment was just as impressive. Every night there was a different professional show, along with incredible pool parties and a beach foam party, which were highlights of our holiday. There was never a dull moment. The food was fantastic, with an incredible amount of choice throughout the day. The main restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with late breakfast and late dinner options. There was also the snack bar, the Amphi Bar, and a 24-hour pool bar, which I’ve genuinely never experienced at any other hotel. No matter what time of day or night, food and drinks were always available. The hotel itself was spotless. The cleaners did an amazing job every single day, and every area of the hotel was kept beautifully clean and well maintained. The pools were immaculate, and there were always plenty of sunbeds available, so there was no need to wake up early to reserve one with a towel. The water slides were brilliant and great fun for both children and adults. The Mini Club was fantastic, with lots of free activities available, although there were optional extras if you wanted them. The children’s rides, professional photographers, and other facilities were all excellent. We chose to have professional photos taken, and they were absolutely worth it. The location is stunning, right by the beach, with beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Although the hotel was busy, it never felt overcrowded because there was so much space throughout the resort. I genuinely cannot fault a single thing about our stay. Every member of staff—from reception, the bar staff and restaurant staff to housekeeping and the entertainment team - worked incredibly hard to make every guest feel welcome and looked after. They have a spa, hair salon, minute mart, arcades, internet cafe and so much more. This hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. Whether you’re travelling as a couple, with friends, or as a family with children of any age, I would recommend it without hesitation. It was an unforgettable holiday, and we will definitely be returning.

Hotel Facilities – 4/5 Overall, the hotel has some excellent facilities. The highlight of the trip was definitely the large family pool and water slides, which were great for both children and adults. There is also a convenient bar near the beach, making it easy to grab drinks throughout the day. The lobby is spacious and attractive, although it was a shame that the lights were often switched off, which made it feel less welcoming in the evenings. The hotel offered good nightly entertainment with a variety of shows, which we enjoyed. The beach is only a short walk away, although it is quite pebbly, so beach shoes may be useful. We also visited the spa, which was a nice addition to the facilities available. Food – 3/5 The buffet food was generally okay, but it lacked variety. Breakfast was enjoyable and offered a good selection, however the options throughout the rest of the day felt repetitive. After a few days, it seemed like many of the same dishes were being served, which became a little disappointing for a longer stay. Service – 2/5 Unfortunately, the service was the weakest part of our experience. During dinner, it was often difficult to get drinks or even water. We regularly had to fetch our own water from the waiters’ station because waiting for service took too long. Eventually, we stopped asking and got drinks ourselves. Having to take water bottles, and cutlery from the waiters. Although, when speaking to them they were all pleasant just seemed very busy. We also had an uncomfortable experience when enquiring about a late checkout. The receptionist appeared to laugh at us during the conversation, and we were left confused as to what was amusing about our request. The checkout experience was particularly disappointing. Despite having arranged a 4pm checkout, a cleaner knocked on our door around ten minutes beforehand and pointed at the time. They then knocked again a few minutes before 4pm. We have never experienced this at any hotel before. To make matters worse, around 5 cleaners were sitting on the floor outside our room waiting for us to leave, which felt unnecessary and quite rude. Overall The hotel has some fantastic facilities, especially the pools, slides, entertainment and beach access. However, the repetitive food options and several poor service experiences prevented the stay from being as enjoyable as it could have been.

Our stay at hotel was amazing 💖, firs of all atmosphere was very nice, staff was always friendly and reliable, especially animators from Kids Club, the did excellent job every single day, made our kids happy and i am sure that they will remember it for a long time🥰. special thanks to Katerina, Bety, Imane & Elif.
