Papillon Belvil Holiday Village and Hotel

Máme za sebou opravdu hodně hotelů v různých zemích po celém světě, takže už většinou víme, co od hotelu očekávat. Do Papillon Belvil jsme ale odjížděli bez nějakých přehnaných očekávání – a o to větší překvapení pro nás celý pobyt byl. Hotel naše očekávání opravdu výrazně předčil. Cestovali jsme s ročním chlapečkem a pokud hledáte hotel pro rodinu s malými dětmi, za nás je Papillon Belvil naprostá TOPKA. Za celý týden jsme snad ani nestihli vyzkoušet všechno, co hotel nabízí. Jedním z největších plusů je jednoznačně jídlo. Výběr, kvalita, množství, restaurace, snacky během dne… prakticky pořád bylo někde něco k dispozici. Hodně nás překvapil i celodenní přísun čerstvého ovoce, což jsme s malým dítětem opravdu ocenili. Úplně největší WOW pro nás ale byla dětská restaurace a celkový přístup hotelu k dětem. Tady je opravdu vidět, že se nad potřebami rodin někdo zamyslel do posledního detailu. Děti mají vlastní restauraci, svoje jídlo i pití a k dispozici byl dokonce i Sunar – to jsme zatím nikde jinde nezažili. Stejně dobře to fungovalo i v hlavní restauraci. Ať jsme přišli v jakoukoliv dobu, nikdy jsme nemuseli čekat na dětskou židličku. Vždy byla čistá, připravená a dokonce nachystaná s bryndákem. Možná to zní jako maličkost, ale kdo cestuje s ročním dítětem, ví, jak moc přesně takové detaily pobyt zpříjemní. Obrovským plusem je také to, že nemusíte ráno vstávat a běžet si obsazovat lehátka. Ať jsme přišli k bazénu nebo k moři prakticky kdykoliv, vždy jsme našli volná místa. Bazény byly krásně teplé, moře vyhřáté a celý areál působil velmi příjemně. Samostatnou pochvalu si zaslouží čistota. Neustále se kolem nás uklízelo – na pláži, kolem bazénů, v restauracích i v celém areálu. Pokoje byly uklizené každý den a následně dokonce chodila ještě kontrola úklidu. Všude byl opravdu neskutečný pořádek. Je vidět, že hotel má výborné vedení a celý provoz je perfektně zorganizovaný. Stejně tak personál. Všichni byli milí, usměvaví a hlavně neskutečně příjemní k dětem. Ani během večeří, kdy už byl v restauraci větší ruch a občas samozřejmě i trochu chaos, jsme nezažili nikoho nepříjemného nebo otráveného. Naopak – pořád úsměv, ochota a hezký přístup k dětem. A svoje malé zpestření jsme měli i mimo hotelový program. 😄 Každý večer jsme s malým chodili po areálu hledat ježky, kterých tam žije opravdu hodně, a přes den jsme zase pátrali po želvě. Nakonec jsme jednu našli, takže i tohle byla naše malá každodenní zábava. 🦔🐢 Před pobytem jsme měli trochu obavu také z hluku, protože jde o velký rodinný resort. Nakonec úplně zbytečně. Areál je obrovský a krásně rozlehlý, takže jsme měli dostatek klidu a rozhodně jsme neměli pocit, že bychom celý den poslouchali nějaký rachot. Pokud bych měla najít jedno mínus, je to spíš otázka našich osobních preferencí než chyba hotelu. Máme rádi hotely, ze kterých se dá večer vyjít na promenádu, projít se mezi obchůdky nebo se jen tak toulat po okolí. Tady jste víceméně odkázaní na samotný resort a v letním vedru se vám několik kilometrů do Beleku pěšky opravdu nechce. 😄 Na druhou stranu je v hotelu tolik aktivit a programu, že jsme byli každý večer úplně vyřízení a ve výsledku nám to ani nijak zvlášť nechybělo. Papillon Belvil pro nás byl obrovským překvapením a patří mezi nejlepší rodinné hotely, které jsme zatím navštívili. Je vidět, že tady někdo opravdu přemýšlí nad tím, jak má kvalitní rodinný resort fungovat – od jídla, čistoty a personálu až po ty nejmenší detaily pro děti. Určitě věříme, že jsme zde nebyli naposledy. Moc rádi se vrátíme, až bude náš malý zase o něco starší a dokáže si všechny možnosti hotelu užít úplně jiným způsobem. ❤️ _____ We have stayed at many hotels and resorts in different countries around the world, so by now we usually have a pretty good idea of what to expect. However, we arrived at Papillon Belvil without particularly high expectations – which made it even more surprising just how much this hotel exceeded them. We travelled with our one-year-old son, and if you are looking for a hotel for a family with young children, Papillon Belvil is absolutely amazing. Even after a full week, we felt like we still hadn’t managed to experience everything the resort has to offer. One of the biggest highlights is definitely the food. The variety, quality and availability throughout the day were excellent. There was always something available somewhere, and we were particularly impressed by the constant supply of fresh fruit throughout the day – something we really appreciated when travelling with a small child. But the biggest WOW factor for us was definitely the children’s restaurant and the hotel’s overall approach to families with children. You can really tell that someone has thought carefully about what families actually need. Children have their own restaurant with food and drinks specifically for them, and they even had baby formula available – something we have honestly never seen in any other hotel we have stayed at. The same attention to detail continued in the main restaurant. No matter what time we arrived, we never had to wait for a high chair. They were always clean, ready to use and even prepared with a bib. It may sound like a small detail, but anyone travelling with a one-year-old knows how much easier these little things can make your holiday. Another huge advantage is that there is absolutely no need to wake up early to reserve sunbeds. Whether we arrived at the pool or the beach earlier or later in the day, we could always find available sunbeds. The pools were beautifully warm, the sea was lovely and warm as well, and the entire resort was very well maintained. The cleanliness deserves a special mention. Staff were constantly cleaning everywhere – the beach, the pool areas, the restaurants and the grounds. Our room was cleaned perfectly every day, and there was even an additional inspection afterwards to check the housekeeping. The entire resort was incredibly clean and well organised. It is very obvious that this hotel is exceptionally well managed. The staff were another highlight. Everyone was friendly, smiling and especially lovely with children. Even during busy dinner times, when the main restaurant could understandably become quite hectic, we never encountered a member of staff who seemed annoyed or unfriendly. They remained positive, helpful and kind towards the children. We also found our own little form of entertainment around the resort. 😄 Every evening we would take our son for a walk to look for the hedgehogs, of which there are surprisingly many around the grounds. During the day, we were on a mission to find one of the tortoises – and eventually we succeeded! 🦔🐢 Before our stay, we were slightly concerned about noise because this is a large family resort. In the end, there was absolutely no reason to worry. The grounds are huge and very spacious, so there were plenty of peaceful areas and we never felt surrounded by constant noise. If I had to mention one negative, it is really more about our personal preference than a fault of the hotel itself. We usually prefer hotels where you can leave the resort in the evening and walk along a promenade, browse some shops or simply explore the surrounding area. Here, you are fairly dependent on the resort itself, and in the summer heat you probably won’t feel like walking several kilometres into Belek. 😄 However, there was so much to do at the hotel that we were exhausted by the end of every day anyway, so in reality we hardly missed it. Papillon Belvil was a huge surprise for us and is definitely one of the best family resorts we have stayed at so far. You can really tell that a lot of thought has gone into how a high-quality family resort should operate – from the food, cleanliness and staff to all the small details that make travelling with children easier. We definitely believe this won’t be our last stay here. We would love to return when our little boy is a bit older and able to enjoy everything the hotel has to offer in a completely different way. ❤️

Review This hotel is amazing and a wonderful place! We are a family with a seven-year-old from the UK. We just returned from a fantastic, memorable week at Papillon Belvil. We’d love to share our experience and give our honest feedback to guide travellers on what to truly expect here. Also, it’s important to highlight some constructive feedback to help the hotel make improvements. All I’d say for now is you will not be disappointed in booking here. There are a few minor negatives to point out, but honestly, they are small points and do not reflect how wonderful this hotel is. FOOD - one of our favourite parts of this hotel, delicious, well prepared and a huge variety of food. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, you will never go hungry. A small negative is it can be a bit chaotic at busy times, everyone bumping into each other in different directions; it almost needs a queuing or direction system to improve that. However, it is a buffet with a large volume of people, so it’s expected. For a small fee, there are à la carte restaurants available if you’d prefer; we tried the Asian vibe and it was a fantastic experience. Rating: 4.5/5 BARS/DRINKS Drinks were all branded and a huge selection to choose from; cocktails were okay, lots of different coffees and teas. Ice creams and smoothies at top quality. Bottled water available everywhere. Our only criticism was slow service; this isn’t a reflection on the staff, they do what they can. I think the hotel is under-staffed in this section and should employ extra. Sometimes one, maybe two members of bar staff at each bar; it’s just not enough and can get frustrating. Rating : 3.5/5 ANIMATION/ ENTERTAINMENT- We cannot speak highly enough of the hard dedication the staff and animation team put into making guests entertained. Friendly and engaging with kids and adults, always smiles and positive vibes. The evening entertainment was always something special and spectacular, for all ages and cultures. Kids club is superb, packed with activities and fun. Rating: 5/5 POOLS / WATER SLIDES They have a variety of pools to suit everyone, from adult-only options to a large main pool, a family pool and a splash pool for the little ones. The water slides are a blast and are perfect for all ages. There are plenty of sunbeds available, so you won’t have to search far for a spot. Rating 5/5 ROOMS We stayed in one of the club rooms, which was a bit away from the main building. There are several individual blocks with around ten rooms each. We were at the back of the site, which we found quite nice and quiet. The rooms are well-equipped, spacious, modern and clean. The mini bar is restocked daily, and the rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels. The only thing we didn’t love was the mattress, which was a bit firm. However, the guest relations team quickly sorted this out with a mattress topper, which made it much more comfortable. The showers and washroom are nice, and hot water is always available. The aircon is perfect. The balcony is okay, but it’s a bit small for our taste. Rating 4.5/5 STAFF & SERVICE The service here is absolutely amazing, friendly and attentive. There might be a slight language barrier with English, which can cause some confusion at times, but it’s not a major issue. Most of the staff speak and understand perfect English. From reception to housekeeping, the bar, restaurant and animation team, we want to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation. You are all a huge credit to your hotel. Rating 5/5 SUMMARY We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papillon Belvil. I wouldn’t normally return to the same hotel twice, and I’ve stayed in some really nice hotels, but if I had to choose one, it would be this one. I can see myself returning. If you’re thinking about it, just book it—you won’t be disappointed. Overall Rating 5/5 Thank you to everyone at Papillon Belvil.

My family and I returned to Papillon Belvil for our fifth stay. In the past, it was one of our top recommendations, and so it felt for the first three days - but after that we left with very mixed feelings. The hotel is under new management, which has brought a few welcome upgrades, but also a noticeable decline in quality across areas that previously made this resort exceptional. It is no longer an obvious choice for us, and we are seriously reconsidering whether we will return in the future. Food & Drinks: From Fantastic Pizza to Mediocrity Gastronomy used to be the resort’s strongest asset, making this trip’s experience our biggest disappointment. The Positive Upgrade: The single highlight and a genuine improvement is the newly built pizzeria. They bake absolutely fantastic, wonderfully seasoned pizza (the only minor flaw being the absence of a ham option). Where Quality Dropped: The food selection repeated endlessly throughout the week with virtually no variety. European cuisine options were significantly reduced, as was the variety of Asian dishes (for instance, the previously rich selection of noodle types and fried/vegetable rice options was reduced to just one single type of noodle and one type of plain rice all week). Flavors were often bland (unseasoned pasta) or over-seasoned with heavy Asian-Turkish spices instead of clean, classic recipes (such as the burgers, which used to be superb). Main courses leaned very heavily on lamb, while basic comfort foods—like simple roasted chicken—were occasionally missing altogether. Hiding Premium Alcohol: While the hotel still carries premium imported alcohol brands, they are now hidden under the bar counter, displaying only standard local brands. Unless you specifically request premium labels by name, you will be served basic drinks. Rooms & Pest Control: Hit or Miss & Mosquito Problems Room Quality: Room quality can no longer be rated at 100%. We booked two rooms: while one was flawless and immaculate, the second room suffered from a very unpleasant, stale/musty odor originating directly from the bed mattresses. This made sleeping quite uncomfortable. Severe Mosquito Infestation: In previous years, mosquitoes were practically non-existent because we regularly saw staff walking around with backpack foggers spraying the grounds. This year was a complete nightmare—mosquitoes were everywhere, most guests ended up covered in bites after evening events, and we didn't see anyone handling mosquito control even once during our stay. Beach & New Pier: A Step Back on Sand, A Giant Leap on Water Minus on the Beach: The original continuous shade canopies across the main beach—which functioned brilliantly—were replaced with individual umbrellas. While aesthetically pleasing, it is functionally a definite step backward for sun protection. Plus on the Sea: The newly built pier is a fantastic addition. It features sunbeds, umbrellas, great shade canopies, and, above all, a lovely bar over the water. Sitting at the pier bar in the evening with a refreshing sea breeze, away from noisy crowds, was absolute bliss. Entertainment: Scaled-Back Parties & Missed Potential The overall entertainment level has dropped, and the hotel is failing to leverage its past standards. Major signature events have been cut—popular parties like the White Party and Gold Party no longer took place and were mostly replaced by low-budget live music acts. Missed Potential: The Cuban-themed party featured stunning decorations and floral arrangements, but the atmosphere was ruined by generic "tuc-tuc" electronic beats playing from the speakers instead of authentic Latin/Cuban music. What Still Shines: The Wonderland show maintained an extremely high benchmark (perhaps even better than in previous years), the children's carnival was fantastic, and the only remaining iconic event—the Red Party—was simply incredible and flawless. Final Verdict: Papillon Belvil still retains some of its strong points (the excellent new pier, high-quality kids' shows, and the new pizzeria), but under new management, cost-cutting is evident across dining, pest control, room maintenance, and evening entertainment. For returning guests, it feels like a noticeable shift toward mediocrity.

Me and wife were staying in this hotel. It is 4th time here. Everything is perfect. My wife had several swim classes with hotel teacher. Teacher name is Arezoo Rahgozar. After one week of training my wife can swim. From nothing to swim. It is amazing. Wife is so glad! We do recommend Arezoo Rahgozar if you want to have swim lessons

We were very happy with the kids’ club and the hotel restaurant! A special thank you to the kids’ club animators — Lola, Beka, and Sonya. They were wonderful with the children: friendly, attentive, caring, and always ready to make the activities fun and enjoyable. Our child had a fantastic time and was always excited to go back to the kids’ club. We truly appreciate their kindness and energy! The restaurant also left a very positive impression. There is a great variety of food, everything was delicious and fresh, and the service was attentive and friendly. It is especially convenient for families with children, as you can enjoy a meal together in a relaxed atmosphere. Overall, the hotel is a great choice for a family holiday. Thank you to the whole team, and especially Lola, Beka, and Sonya, for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable!
