Papillon Zeugma

We stayed at Papillon Zeugma for 7 nights in a duplex family room. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and there were several things the hotel did extremely well, particularly the staff and facilities for children. However, considering the level the hotel is aiming for, there were also quite a few areas that disappointed us, so overall I would rate it 3/5. The room was excellent in terms of space and cleanliness. Our duplex family room was enormous, genuinely feeling larger than our three-bedroom house at home! It was cleaned thoroughly every day and was also very quiet, so we had no issues with noise. The minibar was replenished, although we found the choice of sugar-free drinks quite limited. The decoration throughout the room and some parts of the hotel felt a little dated. We also had a few facilities that didn't work initially, although to the hotel's credit, these were fixed after we called. The staff were probably the highlight of our stay. Everyone we dealt with was warm, friendly and helpful, and staff consistently greeted us with a smile. Our daughter became ill during the holiday and staff showed genuine concern, asking whether there was anything they could do to help and checking how she was afterwards. We really appreciated that personal touch. Our daughter also absolutely loved the kids' club. It was open from 10:00 until 22:00 every day and there were lots of organised activities, as well as a mini disco every evening. The team were always welcoming and our daughter loved both the activities and the teachers. For families with younger children, this was one of the strongest parts of the hotel. The pools and beach were also very good. There are two heated pools at different temperatures, which was particularly useful, and we thought the beach was excellent. One negative was that we noticed some debris at the bottom of the pool when walking in it, which could be improved. We enjoyed all of the evening entertainment we watched, and the hotel grounds were very well maintained. The biggest disappointment for us was the food and drink offering. We found the buffet choices relatively limited and, during our stay, there was no seafood at the buffet. The BBQ area mainly served chicken or turkey, with lamb appearing only once or twice during our seven-night stay. Breakfast was fairly average, although there was an omelette station where they would cook one to your preference. We didn't try the à la carte restaurants because there was a minimum charge of €10 per person. I did look at the seafood restaurant menu and was surprised by some of the additional prices, particularly €295 for 1 kg of lobster and €20 for a single prawn. Drinks were another area where we expected more variety. There were around 10 cocktails and essentially one standard beer option across most of the hotel. The Beer House was the exception, offering approximately 15–20 different beers, although some options such as IPAs cost an additional €10. At a resort of this level, I would have expected a broader selection to be included. One thing worth knowing is the location and transport situation. The hotel is in a relatively rural part of Belek. We tried several times to use Uber to visit attractions, but drivers told us they could not pick us up from either the hotel or the road outside. There is a taxi company directly opposite the hotel, but the price was similar to taking a taxi from the hotel and, in our experience, approximately 30% more expensive than the Uber prices we were seeing. Overall, there is actually a lot to like about Papillon Zeugma. The staff are fantastic, the duplex family room was huge and spotless, our daughter loved the kids' club, and the beach and evening shows were excellent. However, for us, the relatively limited buffet and drinks selection, additional charges, dated decoration and a few maintenance/cleanliness details prevented it from feeling like the premium experience we expected. Overall: 3/5. We enjoyed our holiday, particularly because of the wonderful staff and how well our daughter was looked after, but there is definitely room for improvement.

Our dream honeymoon – absolutely perfect! My wife and I spent our dream honeymoon here, and it exceeded every expectation. The hotel and all its facilities are outstanding. Everything is spotless – the rooms are beautiful and cleaned to perfection every single day. The food is delicious and incredibly varied. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need – you barely finish one drink before they're already there offering the next. The grounds are beautiful and the entertainment is fantastic. It's impossible to get bored here! A special thank you to Ogulcan, the waiter on roller skates by the main pool. He is so friendly and so helpful that I can hardly find the words to describe it. We felt truly taken care of and never lacked anything – he did everything in his power, always with a smile on his face! Thank you, my friend! Natalia & Przemek

We had an amazing stay at Papillon Zeugma! A special thank you to Tina and the entire animation team for their incredible energy, friendliness, and professionalism. This was already our fourth stay at this hotel, and what is especially nice is that it keeps getting better every time! I’m writing this review after returning home and already feeling a little sad that our holiday went by so quickly :) A very special and huge thank you to the Kids Club! We travelled with our two children, aged 7 and 4, so having a good kids club is very important to us. Elena, Marina, and all the other girls (sorry we didn’t remember everyone’s names!) — you are simply the BEST! Our kids were always happy to run to the club, and not because of video games or sweets, but because they genuinely enjoyed being there. There are games, activities, lots of interaction, and everything is very well organised. You can really see that the staff know how to work with children and put their hearts into what they do. Thanks to you, we as parents also had some time to relax and enjoy ourselves :) There are also swimming, tennis, and football activities for children. The food is excellent — delicious, varied, and with a huge choice. There is different meat, fish, chicken, seafood, grilled dishes, food from the tandoor, and even borscht :) Throughout the day, there are plenty of places around the hotel where you can grab something to eat: pizza, shawarma, KFC-style crispy chicken, ice cream, and much more. It is almost impossible to stay hungry here! The sea is wonderful: crystal-clear water, easy access from the beach, and a great pontoon that you can easily swim to. You can jump into the water from there or simply lie down and enjoy the sun. There are plenty of sunbeds, and we could always find a free place. The waiters on the beach can also bring you drinks from the bar. If you are looking for something more adventurous, you can rent a boat or a jet ski nearby — although it is not particularly cheap :) The entertainment team also does a great job. If you enjoy being active, there is always something to do during the day. Another big plus is the gym and SPA. At the gym, you can always ask the trainer for advice — they can recommend the right exercises and help you put together a good workout routine depending on your goals. Afterwards, or simply when you want to unwind, you can relax in the sauna. And if you want some extra relaxation, there is also a very good massage service available at an additional cost. We stayed in a Luxury Pool Suite, and this was a real highlight of our holiday. It almost feels like having your own private pool. Waking up and jumping straight into the water, or having a peaceful swim almost entirely on your own before going to bed, is pure pleasure! Of course, if you deliberately look for imperfections, you can find them in any hotel. But for us, what really matters is the overall atmosphere, excellent service, and staff who genuinely make an effort to make your stay enjoyable. It is especially nice to see how the hotel continues to improve — this was our fourth visit, so we can definitely see the positive changes over time. Our holiday ended far too quickly, and that is probably the best indication of how much we enjoyed our stay. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team! We will definitely be back again! ❤️

Great holiday once again in Zeugma. This was our 4th stay here. A special thanks to Teena, Hamza and Khadir. All the staff are very attentive and can’t do enough for you. Sima tirelessly flys around the pool on her rollerblades keeping you topped up with drinks. The evening entertainment is not to be missed.
