Royal Wings Hotel

First of all I would like to thank Ayhan from Tuana Spa & Wellness. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were given a tour of the facilities and an overview of the amenities. This was my first time in Turkey, so you know we had to take advantage that they offered great pricing for their services. The facilities were kept very clean (restroom, locker room, sauna & showers). There was water and tea readily available & majority spoke good English. I got to experience my first Turkish Bath w/ body scrub & foam massage (10/10 experience). We followed that with a Facial & Tea in the private lounge. Once that was finished we got a 90minute Full Body Massage. We left feeling so relaxed, I booked several more services for the rest of my stay at the Royal Wings Hotel Lara. I highly recommend anyone staying at the resort to make an appointment, money well spent! To summarize my experience staff were extremely friendly & professional, & the facilities were very well maintained.

NOT FOR TOURISTS DURING WINTER SEASON. Not English speaking friendly. Facilities advertised were not available, the staff were rude, ignorant and extremely unwelcoming. Racial preference was prevalent, being a solo traveller, staff scoffed at me. My complaints were laughed at by staff and ignored, along with my presence. Awaiting response to my complaint to JET2. Worst holiday I have ever had.

I was staying 3 nights on this hotel at 1842 room. The first time I stayed in this hotel. Reception 10/10 Staff 10/10 Room 10/10 Cleaning 10/10 View sea and street both greet. Restaurants 8/10 not a lot choice, maybe because not the session. Gardens 10/10 Pools and slides were closed because winter. Bar 10/10 Nightlife 8/10 no session From all this I'll go back again because really it's just one of the best resorts.

The hotel is huge, absolutely enormous, but the staff were pleasant and polite throughout. We travelled as a couple but met family there with two young teenagers, the youngest has special educational needs and the entertainment staff were absolutely brilliant with him. Food wise was great. Loads of choice and different themed nights to change it up a little. There is food available across the hotel in various places basically all day. The restaurant, snack bar, Turkish tent, patisserie and various poolside snacks (pizza, kebab, and jacket potato). Drinks wise loads of choice, decent strength cocktails, beers, and they had a particularly nice iced coffee! Pool was massive, water slides weren't busy so we had a lot of them to ourselves and no fighting for rings. The only thing I could fault them on was that the walls were like paper. On the last two nights we had a family next door with a baby who cried from 6am both days. Felt like parents were trying to self soothe which we understand as parents ourselves, but was not appreciated on holiday. If they could sort out the soundproofing/insulations it would have been 5🌟

This hotel is absolutely amazing, as a family we couldn’t fault it, you couldn’t ask for more. Plenty of snacks bars, restaurants, bars & sunbeds. Staff are lovely, entertainment team are great. Rooms a big clean & modern The funfair & waterpark are a must & all included in the price! We are already looking to book our return visit 😀
