extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we have had, and we would not return. Our flight was delayed by two hours, so we arrived at around 2am. Despite having paid for our accommodation, we were then made to wait in the hotel lobby for another two hours before being given our rooms. We had one additional person to pay for because they had been added to the booking late, and the receptionist used this as a reason to keep us waiting rather than allocating our rooms. People were checking out while we were waiting, and it was clear that rooms were being cleaned for us to go into, despite us having already paid for the night. The receptionist was miserable and unhelpful from the beginning. We also tried several bank cards, all of which were declined despite having sufficient funds. This gave us the impression that the hotel wanted us to pay in cash. The rooms are extremely outdated and require significant refurbishment. One of the beds was completely unsuitable for sleeping in, with the springs coming through the mattress and the mattress itself being extremely thin. There were five of us but only four beds, meaning one person had nowhere suitable to sleep. We repeatedly asked reception for an additional mattress. It took three days of going back and forth to reception before they finally provided another very thin mattress. The receptionist appeared annoyed with us, as though we were responsible for the problem. Housekeeping was also very poor, although the ladies were lovely. Our beds were not changed throughout our stay and we received no fresh towels throughout our stay. On our first day, we discovered a dirty bedsheet. When we asked reception to replace it, they refused, stating it had been washed. After spending more than two hours at reception and refusing to leave until the matter was resolved, they eventually gave me a clean sheet and expected me to change the bed myself. The air conditioning did not work properly and we had to request maintenance out several time, the taps and showers were extremely outdated and worn, and the television was very old. There was also no iron available in the hotel. The food was another major concern. The selection was almost identical every day, and food would often run out within an hour and was not replenished. The food was generally bland, and on one occasion the salad smelled and tasted off. By the third day, all of us became ill with sickness and/or diarrhoea, and the illness continued for more than a week after we returned home. While we cannot definitively establish the cause, the timing and our experience with the food were extremely concerning. There was only one day of entertainment during our stay. Nobody properly explained where anything was within the hotel or what times things happened. We had to figure out the facilities, meal times and other information ourselves. The hotel also did not feel genuinely all-inclusive. For example, bottled water had to be paid for, and we were not provided with hotel Wi-Fi during our stay because we were told it cost extra. The customer service was particularly disappointing. The reception staff, including management, were generally rude and unwelcoming. Staff rarely smiled or spoke to us. The only exception was an older gentleman working in the food hall, who was genuinely friendly and pleasant, and the cleaner. We also had to take our own luggage to our rooms when we arrived, and nobody offered to help us, despite two of us having disabilities. When leaving, nobody offered to take our luggage back to the transport either. What made this more frustrating was that we saw staff helping other guests with their luggage, so it felt as though we were simply being ignored. Overall, the hotel needs significant improvement in customer service, cleanliness, housekeeping, room quality, food standards and basic guest support. The attitude of reception and management made an already disappointing experience even worse. Positive: Nice pool, clean. View of pool from bedroom. Cleaning staff. I would not recommend Saritas Hotel, and we would not choose to stay here again. We ignored some negative reviews, do not do the same.
Horrific 10 day stay, travelled with family, 6 adults in total with 3 rooms, given rooms 5101, 5107 and 3101. rooms 5101 1nd 5107 can only be described as terrible, Firstly the smell coming from the bathrooms, complained for 6 days to be told that the hotel was full and no extra rooms to be moved to,but we could pay 20 euro per person per night to be moved to a comfort room, on 6 day my mother in law was given a different room, but on the 4th floor and she has mobility issues. room 5101 the front door was right next to the male and female public toilets and shower room with the sewage hole 4 steps away from door. Secondly room 5101 has staff quarters located directly above the room, we had to call reception and security a few night, early hours of morning as the staff were singing , shouting and banging. we complained to reception and was told not to put a complaint in with our rep and they would sort it, this carried on for several nights. The food .... where do i start, terrible, no labels on anything, by 7;30pm the grill outside had no more food left, youll be ok if you eat salad for breakfast, lunch and dinner!! Will not be returning.... ever!!!!!
Everything was amazing! The food, rooms, etc!
Very good, nice employees, enough food, near beach, I recommend
We have just returned from a week-long stay at Sarıtaş Hotel in Alanya, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Our biggest issue was the difference between the hotel’s photographs and the reality. The room we were given looked completely different from the rooms shown online, and the overall condition and facilities did not, in our opinion, reflect the hotel’s advertised star rating. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep with it switched on. The food was another disappointment. After just two days, we found it difficult to enjoy, as there was very little variety and many of the same dishes were served repeatedly throughout the week. The staff were generally friendly and polite, which was one of the positive aspects of our stay. Unfortunately, this did not make up for the other shortcomings. We also had an unpleasant experience with housekeeping. One day, we were out all day and left a carton of TEREA tobacco sticks in the room containing one unopened packet. We know this for certain because there had originally been two and we took one with us. When we returned, the entire carton was gone. What made this particularly strange was that our own rubbish bag, which was right next to it, was left untouched. An empty Jägermeister box had also been in the room for several days and was never removed. There was another similar incident involving three small metal shot glasses that came as part of a Jägermeister gift set we had purchased at Bratislava Airport. We left them on the balcony after finishing the bottle, and the following day they were gone. We also noticed a change of housekeeper around this time. We had been leaving a small tip every day for the previous housekeeper, and there was usually some small gesture left in the room. On the day we believe a different housekeeper cleaned our room, nothing was left, and this was also the day the TEREA disappeared. We are not accusing anyone of theft, as we did not see what happened and have no proof. However, the circumstances were unusual and understandably left us uncomfortable. The issue is not the monetary value of the missing items, but the fact that guests’ personal belongings should be respected and left untouched. Overall, the friendly staff were a positive aspect, but the misleading photographs, poor food variety, extremely noisy air conditioning and our experience with housekeeping meant that the hotel did not live up to our expectations or the standard suggested by its advertised rating.
