Like most things in life, first impressions count. This was our fourth trip to Antalya, and due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, we had to make a last-minute change and opted for our tried-and-tested destination. Normally, we stay in Lara, but this time we decided to try Belek. The hotel is around a 35–40 minute transfer from the airport and is located in quite an isolated area, with no nearby shops or amenities. We arrived at around 10pm, and initially, the hotel made a great impression. The entrance is imposing, with large walls, arches, and attractive lighting. Unfortunately, the experience dipped once inside. The lobby felt underwhelming and dated—something that became a recurring theme throughout the hotel, which is around 30 years old. After checking in (family of four with two young children), we waited about 15 minutes for a concierge. Eventually, a member of the reception team who had seen us waiting earlier stepped in to help, taking one suitcase while we carried our backpacks ourselves. The lift was another disappointment—small and barely fitting four people. At one point, the doors closed unexpectedly and briefly trapped my wife. Thankfully, she wasn’t injured. 2 days later, this lift was out of action and remained out of use during our stay. That meant 4 x floors reliant on 1 lift. We booked a family room with a sea view. The size of the room was excellent, and the view overlooking the pool and sea was lovely. However, like much of the hotel, the room was very dated and clearly in need of refurbishment. The built-in air conditioning system appeared to be out of order, replaced by visible standalone units with exposed piping both inside and outside the room. Cleanliness was also an issue, with dusty floors and a balcony area that looked worn, with cracks and rusted doors. The hallways, staircases, and lifts were consistently dirty throughout our stay, with visible dirt, food debris, and spillage marks that did not appear to be cleaned at all during our time there. On a more positive note, the food was a highlight of the stay. The variety and quality were impressive compared to other hotels we’ve visited, and the 24-hour restaurant is a great feature. The swimming pools were clean, and the whole family enjoyed using them. However, the beach—despite being directly connected to the hotel—was disappointing, with visible rubbish both washed ashore and left behind by guests. The evening entertainment was inconsistent. One night, despite a show being advertised, there was simply no performance, leaving children (including ours) disappointed. Service at reception was also frustrating at times. On two occasions, while queuing properly, other guests skipped ahead and were served first. Staff did not intervene, leaving me to raise the issue myself. Their response was apologetic but concerning, attributing the behaviour to “Russian guests,” which didn’t feel like an acceptable explanation. Due to the hotel’s remote location, we had to rely on taxis. Belek town centre is about 5–10 minutes away (£20 return), and Land of Legends is around 10–15 minutes away (£40 return). Overall, while the hotel markets itself as a 5-star Hotel, it sits at the lower end of that category. The biggest issue is how dated it feels—it’s in clear need of modernisation. While there were positives, particularly the food and pool areas, unfortunately, this is not a hotel we would return to.

Truly a five star hotel. The food was delicious and best of all the alcoholic drinks were bottled. Their house red was a 14% merlot which was so smooth and very tasty. This is first time I've been to an all inclusive where the wine is not provided through a tap (which is usually not very nice). All the wine was bottled. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They kept bringing us drinks to our room every day to fill up the mini fridge. Which, to be honest, we didn't use as we're not keen on fizzy drinks but it didn't stop them bringing more and more. They also surprised us with complementary wine and a cake with sparkles after learning it was our wedding anniversary. Such a lovely surprise. We stayed in an Elegance Villa which had the biggest bed we've ever slept in. 7ft x 6ft, and it was very comfortable. The place was spotless. The cleaners did a very good of job of keeping our room clean and tidy. One Muslim lady called Sila (sorry for the incorrect spelling) could not do enough for us to make our room clean and comfortable. The pools were also immaculate, and all the grounds well manicured. There was so much on offer in this hotel. We were there for 11 nights and were still discovering new places even towards the end of the holiday. It has a 24 hour bar and restaurant as well as the main restaurant and various other bars. It also has a coffee shop with every kind of coffee and an array of cakes to enjoy with it. My one piece of negative feedback would be this: the hotel did not give us a map of the grounds or advise us of the meal times, or an activity programme to when and where the entertainment would be. It was only on the 9th night of our stay did we discover the amphitheatre! Mainly because it is situated outside of the front of the hotel where we didn't venture until one night we decided to take a walk around the grounds. Guest Relations were very helpful, but we did have to ask for what we wanted -it wasn't automatically offered. There was just two of us on this holiday, however I could see it would be a brilliant place for families given all the amazing activities for children.

Hotel itself is quite good, but during October 2025 all swimming pools were extremely cold, it was really big disappointment for all children, even small baby pool was very cold. Children jumped to the pool for a while only, adults mostly didn't enter at all. It's a pitty as all pools look nice. One year ago in another hotel we did't have such bad experience. There were quite often bigger delays with completing silvers, glasses, drinks and so on in the only one dinner restaurant. This shouldn't happen in 5 star hotel. Tennis and football playground should be maintained with better care. All food were very tasty. Night shows were nice.

To start this review I’d like to say that we met a few nice staff members one’s name was ata he went above and beyond for us while we were at the resort. Tayfun with the entertainment team was great he was always upbeat and engaging in conversation. then the masseuse tamer was excellent he done some amazing things to my husbands back and gave him some really good tips on how to improve his condition. My husband said his massage was amazing. When we first got to the resort our first reaction was ‘wow’ it is a beautiful place however there is so much room for improvement across the place. Food - the food was horrendous all week. I lived on chips which were always undercooked and chicken nuggets which were rock hard. The Nona restaurant staff were arrogant and rude to us, I have an allergy to onions and everyday we requested that my chicken burger not be served with onions, everyday it was. We even translated it to Turkish for them to understand. The first day I said you’ll have to make me a new one due to my allergy and I was told yes that’s fine, I then received the same burger still with some onion bits left on it. They had scraped it off and tried to serve it back to me, which I found appalling. The food in the main restaurant was always freezing, even if you turn up dead on the time they open. The food is cold. ALSO CHECK YOUR CHICKEN! This is what I received on my last day!! (Photo attached) when I approached them on it they said it was fine, it was literally freezing cold! Rooms- we stayed in a villa for our stay which was beautiful however the front door did not dead lock and when the maintenance came out he said it’s like it in every room. we woke up on day 3 to the most horrendous potent smell, it was coming from the bathroom. The sewage system was clearly backed up and leaking the smell up through our toilet. They did change our room straight away however the new block was really far away compared to the original one and as a disabled person it did make it slightly difficult. The patio door also did not lock. The kids rides and game room is a scam it was 10 euro for 5 tickets, which is a ridiculous price to play some broken down ice hockey. Drinks- the drinks were often way too strong and undrinkable. The fridges for water were often warm and the water bottles were warm too, you would also queue for ages and if a Russian or Romanian person came to the bar they would get served before you. Staff - apart from the staff members mentioned and the mixologist at the 24/7 bar every staff member was rude, arrogant and just did not want to help you or speak to you. If you had a problem they wouldn’t help you. Very few of them spoke any English, so the fact this hotel advertises their English speaking. They really are not. The ones who did speak English clearly didn’t like the British people as they treated us with a huge amount of disrespect and their attitude was appalling. Even after trying to get their attention they would look at us and walk past us. We had a lovely holiday but cant say it’s down the hotel. Really not worth the money I spent.
