Swandor Hotel & Resort Topkapi Palace

Brilliant place to stay for couples and families. Outstanding service level. Brilliant entertainment program, friendly staff, excellent food. Highly recommended place to stay and come back again.

We spent 5-6 days here, the food and pools were great. The hotel is in such a big area, it was both fun and a little tiring to walk around. There is live music every night and the were food 24/7. Would recommend.

the AC wasn’t working, but were told it’s centrally controlled and set to winter mode, so it couldn’t be turned on. The only suggestion we were given was to leave the balcony door open, which wasn’t ideal. Another issue is transport. Getting an Uber or BiTaksi in this area isn’t really possible, so you’re reliant on the local taxis outside the hotel, which are very expensive—honestly more costly than taxis in the UK. Overall, the hotel itself is great, but I’d strongly recommend contacting them in advance to confirm whether the AC will be operating during your stay. If 24°C doesn’t meet their threshold for turning it on, it’s worth checking beforehand to avoid an uncomfortable stay.

Our experience was overall good. For us the best thing about Swandor was the food. Lots of variety and flavours in foods. If we needed anything sent to our room for example water, spoon, plate it was delivered quickly. Only disappointing this is our room was quite hot & AC would not work, which was not ideal as we have a young baby. And when we told reception, they said they cannot sort this out as it is turkey winter time and AC is seasonal which was quite shocking to hear. Even though we had 24 degrees heat at this time.
