We visited this hotel for two weeks beginning of July . We have some good and negitive views on our stay . The hotel in general is nice and nice rooms but we on some aspects would not rate it five star .The restaurants were very good with good options and choices especially at lunch time like the alcarte beach place for instance. The coffee/ cake place was very good . The breakfast food though was often cold. The drinks were good with getting premium branded spirits but you have to ask for it . The toilets were not always clean or seen being cleaned ! The staff we found could be miserable and unhelpful especially on reception which we put down to being busy and probably not enough staff overall . Our biggest negative is the pool area and the beds being reserved , So this would start at 5 o'clock each morning and by 7 o'clock all the beds would be gone with no one on them till much later , According to hotel policy mangerment go round at 11 and remove any towels on bed's that have not been used , we saw this happen twice and once they didnt remove any and the second time they only did half the area and only removed a couple of towels where as there were loads not being used . There were beds on the grass area's and on the beach as well and you could get beds at either of these area's . Hotel could do with an adults only pool area . The next issue which granted is not the hotels fault is that inconsiderate parent's did not use the correct baby/toddler swim wear and therefore there was pooh in the pool and this then was closed for 2 hours while it was clened , this happened twice with a couple of days . Entertainment was good and so was the entertainment team , they worked very hard and was always cheerful .

We returned home from a 2 week stay a few days ago and it is only right that I share our experience in the positivity it deserves. HOTEL: Clean, accessible for all. Very well signed throughout. Excellent location to beach and Side bus (every 10 mins outside). There are over 1 hundred "bazaars" a mere 70 yards outside the hotel for all your shopping, clothes and gifts. STAFF: Superb. Approachable, friendly and professional. I did find the attitude of 1 x bartender rather rude (you'll come across him, works in The As Bar and Turgoise Bar in the evenings). Be sure to visit the ever impressive Turgot up in The Roma Bar, his elegance in making his drinks never ceased to amaze us (thank you, Turgot!). Our room maid was a lovely lady and cleaned our room to an excellent standard by 10:30 every morning. Guest Relations were very helpful in anything we needed. POOL: 1 x large pool (1.4M deep throughout). No diving. They have inflatable assault courses, a foam party (weekly) and endless pool games to keep everyone amused. NOTE: we did, sadly, encounter 2 x "Code Browns" during our stay, which was handled efficiently and professionally. SUNBEDS: Yup...you have to be early. I was sat on ours by 06:30 and the majority of beds were gone by 07:30. There are also plenty of loungers on the grassed areas away from the pool. BEACH: Situated a 2/3 minutes walk at the bottom of the complex, it has many sunbeds under shade. There is a Beach Snack Bar that serves doner wraps, chicken shish and spaghetti bolognaise (ridiculously tasty!) to save you walking back up to the hotel itself. If you enjoy an early morning walk then turning to the right will take you beyond the hotel complexes into the unspoilt area...local fishermen are dotted all along, with lovely little campervan sites as well as intriguing objects that have washed ashore. Turning left will take along the back of all the other hotel complexes. Be sure to take some bread/meat/cheese and feed to numerous fish in the fresh water "river" that joins the beach 150 yards up from the Trendy's beach. The walk into the sea itself from the Trendy beach is a little "stony" and suitable footwear is recommended. FACILITIES: Pool tables and bowling lanes in the amusement arcade (extra costs), table tennis. The hotel has a Spa & Wellness Centre (we didn't use it) as well as Turkish Baths (it is here that you will find your blue Pool Towels as well as communal showers and locker room for the day of your departure). The WATER SLIDES are very impressive.... 2 or 3 slides at a gentle pace and another 2 or 3 for the more adventurous (the little ones have their own water slides in their own small pool). Ice cream and milkshakes are served throughout the day at The Icependos hut. There is a wonderful patisserie on site which serves all manner of hot drinks and every single cake you can imagine...that shuts at around 17:30, which is a shame as it would have been a nice place to relax after our evening meal. DRINKS: Local Effes +1 is on tap throughout the hotel and is very, very nice. Refrigerators are located throughout the resort and constantly filled with bottles of still water. The cocktail list is extensive and impressive, but be sure to visit Turgot upstairs for his signature cocktails! Real Fanta, Coca Cola and Sprite are served...but unlike other hotels we have visited there is no "self serve" option. BARS: The Aspendos Bar is the main bar, which serves drinks through the day as well as during the evening. It does get busy and they ask you to go to a "satellite bar" to the side if you require certain cocktails. Failing that, there's usually a couple of staff floating around who will bring drinks to your table should you be the "tipping" type. The Turgoise bar is 24 hour and has a lovely coffee bar situated right next door. Our favourite was The Roma bar, with it's extensive drink selection and relaxed ambience (we nicknamed it The Titanic Bar as it reminded us of the 1st class lounge on The Titanic, not that we've been on that though!). NIGHT ENTERTAINMENT: Again, very impressive. An array of outside entertainers come in and do their thing...from African acrobats, local Turkish groups to (our particular favourite) The Drifters. Entertainment starts at 21:00 and finished at 23:00 sharp. There is also Bingo by the hotel reps on a weekly basis. TIP: Be sure to visit The Roma bar, go outside onto the balcony and turn right...there are tables and chairs that allow you to watch the entertainment from the comfort of being up high. A weekly Dance Disco was very impressive...loud music, lazer shows and professional podium dancers. FOOD : Without a shadow of a doubt the highlight of our holiday !!! Breakfast: had everything from fresh toasties, cheeses, cold meats, cereals, fruit, yogurts, freshly prepared eggs and croissants. The highlight of my day! Lunch: either served in the buffet on the ground floor, at the Beach Snack Bar or A La Carte style at the Mexican restaurant (highly recommend their cheeseburgers!). The buffet style was very, very nice.... fresh breads and pizza with plenty of meat options. Mashed potato, fresh veg, salads, rice and pasta dishes. Delicious ! Evening meal: served on the 1st floor restaurant it, again, was immensely impressive. A lovely, warm welcome at the door set the tone each evening. The menu varied each and every night with a focus around fresh, hot ingredients. Not once did any of us turn our noses up at anything. The seafood was wonderful...my particular favourite was the cheese stuffed pide bread, roast beef rib and the slightly spicy local "gravy". Delicious. EXCURSIONS: We only opted for 1 this time around, which was an all day boat trip organised by Tui themselves at the hotel. At 115 Euro each we did think it expensive but it was a thoroughly enjoyable day with all food and drink included. Outside the hotel in the shopping area there are a couple of small stalls offering various other trips... but at around 30-40 Euro each I very much doubt you would have anywhere near the same experience as what we did on the Tui boat cruise. Overall an exemplary fortnight away, spent in a beautiful clean and spacious hotel with a touch of "class" everywhere you look. We're not people to visit the same hotel more than once, but there is absolutely nothing in our minds that would stop us visiting Trendy Aspendos again.

This is our second stay here. We absolutely love the place. The staff are fabulous, friendly and always happy to help. We love it here The location is perfect, just a short 15-20 minute bus ride ( pick up every 10 minutes outside the hotel) away from the hussle and bustle of side old town and lots of very cheap, good quality bazaars next door. The food is constantly lovely throughout the day from buffet to menu to restaurant foods. The cabanas are great on the beach and kept cool enough with the large wall mounted fans and waiter service (€80). The family room (2 bedrooms) are great. Air conditioning, beds are comfy and fridge is stocked and replenished with drinks daily. The atmosphere is chilled but good fun and great for families. Overall id say great value for money. The only downside is the entertainment isnt brilliant but we didn't mind that, we found the upstairs lounge with balcony and loved it in there as it was too hot to sit outside in the evening for us. They also do the best strawberry daiquary 🍓. Thanks to everyone at Trendy Aspendos beach for making our stay everything we wanted ❤️
