TUI BLUE Belek

Having visited Sherwood Dreams and Sherwood Tui Blue I would like to give my thanks to The Manager - Anja, Tom and Laura (Tui) for their absolute fantastic time that they gave me while staying with them and my thanks to Zekeriya Baris, Guests Relations Manager and his staff, especially Aijan. The whole of Sherwood Tui Blue, the staff, the fantastic food, the politeness of all staff, the cleansiness and everything they did for me during my 10 day break, you could not wish for a better holiday than with them. Fabulous 10 day stay. Stayed in many hotels in Turkey with TUI but this location is one of the best. Not fair to single out anyone in particular as all the staff we met were unfailingly excellent. The activities that we took part in daily were also good. Hotel itself is spotless and provides comfort and relaxation and late April. May was not too busy. Food excellent with much attention to detail and variety with access to regional dishes as required. Drinks ( wines and spirits) all of a decent standard. Would we go back ? - absolutely ! - likely October. Thanks to all who made this an enjoyable and memorable holiday

This is a fantastic hotel in a good location. This is my first visit to the area and we have really enjoyed it. The staff are all very helpful and can't do enough for you, especially the bar and waiting staff. The housekeeper on our floor was so nice too. She spoke no English (and I speak no Turkish) but she always spoke, smiles and even brought me a vase of flowers because she had woken me up. Too sweet. The food is lovely and there was a great selection to be had. The food is very much geared towards the large German population that visits the hotel but we always found something. I recommend the Turkish Coffee and cakes from the coffee bar. We liked the outdoor snack bar for lunch some days for a change and everything we tried was lovely. We ate at the a la carte restaurant one evening and this was very good. It's more of a small tasting menu but highly recommended. There are handy fridges dotted around for you to help yourself to water etc and that's been great. The bars are very evenly spaced though if you want anything else. The pool is freezing but refreshing once in. There is a small section that is heated just as you leave the building, which is like stepping into a warm bath. The pool area is beautiful and there are plenty of loungers. You get towels from the spa so no need to bring your own if you don't wish to. The indoor pool was nice too. I had a Turkish bath and massage and both were fab. The Turkish bath was a unique experience and it was a bit odd being washed by a stranger but I soon got used to it. Highly recommend if you don't mind being touched by strangers. There are cats and kittens at the hotel. There is a cat house just next to the beach bar. They mum is very chilled and happy for you to pet the babies. One of the babies has a very sore eye and nobody could explain who cares for them. A few staff shrugged at me and the guest relations lady (Adiana, I think her name was) politely said that they were not the hotels cats; i.e 'Not our problem'. This was disappointed as someone clearly feeds them and there is a TUI certificate outside of the restaurant for their animal awareness and care. There is also a collection box at reception stating it's for the care of the strays. Clearly paying for the staff nights out. 😡 Very disappointing to be told that it's not the hotels problem. Adiana stood over myself and my husband whilst we wrote an original review (since deleted) which was quite intimidating and unnecessary. I felt like I couldn't write an honest review and she was rushing us. This has been the only part of the holiday experience that has been negative. All in all, we have had a fab time, we would highly recommend and we would return to this hotel.
