We returned for our 10th trip to this amazing hotel. From the moment we walked through the doors to the moment that we left, the staff couldn’t do enough for us. It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces from previous years. We celebrated our daughters 30th birthday at the Italian and they didn’t disappoint. The chef Honer and all the staff cooked us an amazing meal and Emin made sure that we had everything that we needed to make her birthday a special one. We had one of her friends fly out as a surprise and would like to thank Taner for helping us with this . We spent most of our days around the adult pool and was looked after by legend Gabriel, such an asset to the hotel always smiling and bringing us drinks in the heat of the day . Our room was cleaned by the lovely lady Emine each day and always greeted us with a smile and hello. Food and drink are amazing at this hotel, so much choice and the staff are always there to help with any requests we had, especially Rose and Hussein in the buffet. The Hotel is spotless and the gardens are immaculate. We did miss the entertainment by Victor in the lobby bar later into the evening, but did enjoy the outside bar entertainment even though we could do with more fans as it gets so hot and humid in the evenings. We have known Ahmet (Cavo) in the outside bar for many years, he keeps the bar working so well and he always greeted us with a smile and remembers our drinks order, with great support from Enis and Hakan in the lobby bar. We recommend the bag shop in the Hotel, over the years we have bought many bags, and they are such good quality. We also visited the Spa, it is run by different people this year and I have to say all the treatments that we had were very good, especially the Turkish bath. Every year that we return we wonder if it will be as good as last year and I can honestly say that it just gets better. The staff really do make this hotel very special. Superb food, superb room, superb service and staff

We recently stayed at Akra Sorgun and from start to finish, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We experienced wonderful service across every department. Whether it was the bar and restaurant staff, receptionists, or cleaners, everyone greeted us with a warm, genuine smile. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Akra Sorgun. The food quality was excellent throughout our stay. The main buffet restaurant offered a variety of fresh, delicious options and the three à la carte restaurants we visited dished up outstanding meals. We decided to rent a beach cabana for a day, and it was wonderful, providing a special experience. My partner visited the hotel spa for a traditional Turkish hammam and massage treatment, which she thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained and the entire property is kept spotlessly clean. We took the local dolmuş bus into Side - it stops right near the hotel, takes just 10 minutes, costs only €1.50 per person and was well worth the trip. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Akra Sorgun to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with first-class service. We hope to return soon!

We travelled as a couple on 25/09/26 for one week, and this was easily the best all‑inclusive hotel we have ever experienced. We have never returned to the same hotel twice, but after this stay we are already considering coming back here, or trying another hotel in the Akra group, for May 2027. Arrival was smooth and efficient. The coach transfer from Antalya took around 2 hours due to the volume of traffic, I don't believe a private transfer would have been much quicker. We were taken straight to our family room on the third floor, which overlooked both the beach and the family pool. The room had two separate bedrooms, plenty of storage, and was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was well stocked with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, dental kits, hand soap and more. Four beach towels were provided for the first day. The food throughout the hotel was excellent, varied and consistently high quality. The main restaurant offered a large buffet with an adults‑only section. Some dishes were not piping hot, but this is understandable given the scale of service. If other venues are closed, you can order from an à la carte menu here 24 hours a day. There are three included à la carte restaurants: Saffron (Turkish), Olive (Italian) and Ocean (Seafood). All three served restaurant‑quality dishes that were hot, delicious and beautifully presented, with exceptional service. We booked all three on arrival and had no issues securing reservations. The steak restaurant costs £50 per head; we did not try it, but other guests spoke highly of it. At lunchtime, Olive and Ocean can be visited without a reservation, with a reduced but still excellent menu. There is also a Gozleme station at the beach, serving freshly made savoury flatbreads and one sweet option, which is well worth trying. The coffee shop offers cakes and ice cream, and the reception coffee shop serves coffee and chocolates. The drinks package was outstanding. Bars include the adults‑only pool bar, the children’s area bar, the 24‑hour main bar, the club house bar and the beach bar. Cocktails were excellent everywhere, with the main bar offering the best quality in our opinion. You could ask for the cocktails or frozen cocktails to be made with your choice of spirit, but in general they were using premium international spirits anyway. Wine options included red, white, rosé and a rosé blush comparable to a Côte de Provence. There were also plenty of draft and bottled beers. The hotel has an adults‑only pool, a large family pool, an indoor pool and a full spa. I booked a Turkish Hammam and massage, which lasted two hours and cost 100 euros. It was amazing: relaxing, professional and excellent value. I also used the on‑site beauty salon for a manicure and pedicure, which cost around 36 euros for both and was very good value. The private beach is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the hotel. It is spacious, clean and has plenty of sunbeds and parasols. The staff were genuinely friendly and couldn’t do enough for guests. Many recognised returning visitors and greeted them warmly. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Entertainment was very good overall, with a couple of acts slightly less polished than others. We particularly enjoyed the club house bar in the evenings, which hosted good live bands. We ordered a packed lunch for our return flight, which was a brilliant option. Antalya Airport is extremely expensive, so having a freshly prepared lunch from the hotel saved us both money and hassle. Overall, this hotel delivered an exceptional all‑inclusive experience: excellent food, high‑quality drinks, friendly staff, great facilities and thoughtful extras like the packed‑lunch service. The spa and beauty salon were fantastic additions. We have never returned to the same hotel twice, but this one has genuinely made us consider breaking that rule, or choosing another Akra hotel, for May 2027.

We have just returned from our third visit to Akra Sorgun, and once again, it did not disappoint. Credit must go to the management team, as the resort is spotless both public areas indoors and wonderfully maintained garden and pool areas. Our room was of a very high standard and a big thank you to our cleaner Esma and Hatice the Housekeeping Supervisor. Dining is excellent. We visited all the a la carte restaurants in addition to the main restaurant where the different theme nights are superb. Breakfast is on another level. I defy anyone to go to the breakfast thinking of something to have, and not finding it there. Must give a mention to 2 lovely little pit stops, Bakra and Thea's for coffee, chocolates, ice cream and cakes. We would like to give a special mention to all the staff who made our stay that much better. Cannot name them all, but must give a shout out to :- Sid, Mustafa and Mohammed - Guest Experience. Kemalettin and Kemal - Reception. Rukiye,Burak, Ali and Faruk - Main Restaurant. Gabriel, Engun, Mussa and Hasan - Pool Bar. We can guarantee that anyone thinking of booking Akra Sorgun will not be disappointed.
